Absolutely lovely guest house! Spotlessly clean, felt like a home from home. We only stayed one night as was attending crufts...wish we booked 2 to vome back and relax there.
Owner was lovely and so welcoming. Breakfast was yummy and was offered anything we wanted.

Victoria keeps the house immaculately clean and is decorated to a high standard. Everything we needed was in our room, she even brought a fresh jug of milk for our tea and coffee. The breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for her. We could not find fault in anything. Throughly recommend.

We didn't have breakfast as my son was attending a fitness event at the NEC and had to leave early but we asked if a toaster could be provided, which it was. Super helpful. Lovely welcome. Plenty of parking. Directions spot on. Very close to NEC and Birmingham Airport. Lovely clean room with everything you need in there. Would definitely use again if we were flying from the airport or attending an event. Felt secluded, quiet and relaxing, yet so close to everything. Thank you again.

Superb room, warm, clean, fun smart decor. Comfy beds with toppers. Lashings of hot water. Welcome tray with tea(s), coffee, hot choc, biscuits, squash, bottled water. These small things that make the difference included fresh milk in the fridge. Perfectly quiet pre airport/NEC stay. Would definitely return. Thank you!

What a diamond of accommodation this was. Wonderful directions provided ahead of arrival to find the property easily enough. Ample parking provided close to the entrance. Warmly greeted by Vicky who runs it with her husband, Mark. Shown to my room which I was very impressed with. For extra space as a solo traveller, I booked the family room for only £90. Their were 3 double beds with 2 in an adjoining room that you could partition with a curtain. The bathroom was decorated to a high standard with a very soothing shower at the end of a long day. I was given a suggestion for a nearby walk which worked out great and a local Greene King pub was only 10 minutes walk away and provided a great meal with wonderful service. I had a great night's sleep and breakfast in the morning was cooked to perfection. All in all, there was nothing I could find fault with hence my 5 star rating. Would love to stay there again.

A perfect find!

This is the best guest house we have ever stayed in! Superb very helpful welcome, restaurant directions and alternatives. Lovely room, extensive breakfast, help with Uber taxis to the NEC. Ten to Fifteen minute drive to the latter, but house tucked away in an attractive quiet garden.
Would we go again?— We would buy the place if the opportunity arose and we could afford it!!

Just returned from a 2night stay, Brilliant, made to feel very welcome from start vicky is a amazing host, nothing to much trouble, room was spotless and huge, coffee and tea ect plenty full with fresh milk in a fridge provided. Breakfast one of the best I've had at any hotel, never seen so many choices on offer of spreads, plus cereal fresh fruit Full English we will definitely go back there when we're up that way, Thank you Vicky and hubby

We had a lovely warm welcome from Vicky on arrival.

Our room overlooked the garden and we had a double bed each which were so comfortable I did not want to get out of it. The room had everything we needed for our stay including a lovely tea tray.


Breakfast was wonderful especially the Barncroft special. There was a wide selection of cereals, yoghurts and delicious fresh raspberries and strawberries.

Set up for the day we went to the NEC, which is only a five minute drive away.

We stayed in Barncroft Luxury Guest House for a single night so that we could go to the NEC the next day. I had to get in touch with the owner since we would be arriving late. She always got in touch with me promptly and was extremely helpful, nothing was ever a problem for Vicky. When we arrived she was there to greet us and was lovely and friendly. Our room was delightful, zebra themed which my daughter loved. We both had a very comfortable double bed and had an excellent night of sleep. The range of food on offer for breakfast was fantastic and once again Vicky, and her husband, were extremely friendly and helpful. Barncroft is an 8 minute drive to the NEC. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough especially if you are at an event at the NEC. We'll definitely be back in the future.

Fantastic Guesthouse!

We travel around the country for my son’s Taekwondo competitions and found this gem of a guesthouse, situated only 20mins away from Coventry, where the World Championships were taking place.

Received a lovely warm welcome from Vicky. Fab room, nice and spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We had the family room, which consisted of a separate area with a king bed and its own TV and fan, which was quickly nabbed by my son! Cheeky!

Larger area with another couple of double beds and 2nd TV. Lots of space to store clothes and also comes with a fridge with milk.

Bed was amazing! Probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever had the pleasure of sleeping on whilst staying away. If I could have taken it home with me, I would have! 😀

Breakfast was cooked to order and absolutely delicious. Full English on the first morning and then tried the Bancroft special on our second morning (cheese on toast with mushrooms and a poached egg) which I highly recommend!

We will be back in the area in a few months time and have already booked to stay again!

Victoria is so friendly and runs a great establishment. If you’re going to be staying in the area then I advise you to make a reservation at the Barncroft. You won’t regret it!

This guest house was beautiful. So clean and the room was beautiful. Bed was comfy and had an amazing night sleep.
The lady who runs it was amazing and friendly. Breakfast was worth it plus more. Everything was cooked to perfection. Only comment would be the wall near the bed and bathroom needs touching up with paint and the bathroom under the mirror.

Fantastic Stay

Just amazing from the moment you pull off the road and onto the Properties ground, everything is immaculate and it feels really welcoming. The host is just a wonderful as the property and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and advised where to I could get an evening meal from. The rooms are spacious and they seem to have thought about everything you may need and are adhering to COVID regulations (there is hand sanitizer by most major touch points) I travel for work and spend on average 1 night a week away from home and this is the best nights sleep I have gotten whilst away. The only downside is that you do seem to need a car or a taxi to go out to anywhere. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for one night as needed somewhere close to the airport for an early morning flight. Everything about this accommodation was superb! Way above what we were expecting for the reasonable cost. The rooms were large, beautiful bathroom, spotlessly clean. The hostess (Vicky) was so helpful on our arrival and made us feel truly welcome. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and looking forward to returning there again.

Fantastic overnight stay

We only stayed for a night and this place made such a great impression on us. we had a 2.5 hour drive to the location and the welcome was great. Vicky was so accommodating and sorted out our transport to the Arena. She was like a mother making sure we arrived back at the accommodation safely as we had never visited the area. Great room and having a nice big breakfast before hitting the road was great. The breakfast room is crammed full of breakfast items and the cooked breakfast was great.
We have already recommended to our friends and we would 100% visit again.

Complete excellence once again

This is my third stay at Barncroft. Once again, everything was perfect from the moment I arrived until I left. The room was very comfortable and clean, with great quality bedding and towels. A great selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and some biscuits were in the room to enjoy. Breakfast is outstanding and plentiful with lots of choice and perfectly cooked. Without a doubt, it's the best guesthouse I have stayed in in the UK.

Lovely property with parking on driveway. We chose this property for easy access to Birmingham airport.

Firstly Victoria the owner of the property was so welcoming on arrival showed us our room and gave us information about what facilities were in the local area , such a lovely host who couldnt do enough to make us feel welcome, the room was amazing so spacious and comfortable and was spotless, the bed was so comfy, the breakfast in the morning was delicious, so much choice, i really cant praise the accommodation and Victoria enough, wouldnt hesitate recommending this , and truly believe thos is a first class accommodation, 10/10 for me simply WOw
