Easy to park and discounted rate if you pay at reception... warm welcome .... room was large and well maintained. Food in restaurant was good and breakfast also goo - broad spread. (only 2 beers on tap, only downside!). Very good value.

Was kept awake from 2.30am due to a party in the next room and slamming of doors till 5am ISH. Even though the party goers book every year they should be told to respect other hotel users. The reception was not overly bothered.was not

Only single available this time, uncomfortable mattress that desperately needs replacing, cold small wet room with the most pathetic water flow I have ever experienced. Frosted glass but no window covering in wet room/en suite. Noise from main road continuous until early hours.

Really good friendly service. Calm and peaceful atmosphere. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Easily accessible by road with good parking, near the A45 Coventry bypass. Good value. The WiFi was basically unusable but that's a small thing. Overall, very satisfied.

Stayed as base for Warwick Live concert. Was cheap, decent value for Money and reception and bar staff friendly. However on one night at 1am there was a fire alarm. Residents assembled outside, but I was appalled at lack of any response from hotel staff. No one came to let us know what was going on or carry out any fire marshall duties. Easy to find, plenty of parking. It was late at night, receptionist was friendly and helpful.

Everything about inside the hotel was good the only thing that wasn`t in line with the interior was the exterior and the car park both of these need to be refurbished and then the place would be nice right throughout. I was greeted by a friendly and pleasant gentleman at the reception desk and also had my room upgraded, so that was a nice uplift to my experience.

Hotel and room was clean but basic. We were staying for an early Birmingham airport flight. Suited our requirements and the food was decent in the restaurant/bar.

Only downside for me was that there were dogs allowed which in itself was fine but one poo’d outside our door and it stank to high heaven. The owners of dog were neighbours on the same floor and were quite noisy. We had to ask them to keep the noise down outside our room at 11pm. They did clean the mess up but the smell was so bad we had to lay a towel across the bottom of our door!

Budget hotel for a budget price, you get what you pay for and we would stay again for travel purposes. Probably not for a leisurely weekend away though.

I've stayed here once before, so I had an idea of what to expect.

It's not the finest of hotels, but its not the shabbiest either. The room I had was clean and comfortable, although when I stayed it was extremely hot. This of course is not the hotel's problem, but I was in a room at the front of the hotel, so with the window open, and the main road about 75 meters away, with no air conditioning or fans provided, it was quite noisy.

I also experienced some noise from other residents later on in the evening chatting noisly in the seating area beneath my bedroom window.

I had a bite to eat in the bar area, which was distinctly very average at best. Not an extensive menu, but that's not a problem. Although not inedible, the burger I had was dry and not all that appetising. No-one came to ask me if it was OK either.

Would I stay here agin? Possibly yes, but I would also scout around the area for alternatives first.

Check in...took me 4 go's to say a simple surname to be told I had no booking though I have your email.
Far too noisy by the A45, whole areas smell in the air of cooking oils, has the extract been cleaned / serviced
Rooms dated need a refresh, bar staff excellent as was the kitchen staff serving food, Wi-Fi good. TV distorted / lost picture after 20 mins..I will not stay again

Ok but will not be back.

The hotel staff are very friendly, the rooms stink. I had two rooms on different sides of the hotel and we onlt stayed to sleep but my oh my the rooms are musky. When I got home I had to send all my bags off to be dry cleaned to get rid of the smell. Other than that it was ok. Probably wont stay here again.

All I wanted was a quiet relaxing night away, what I ended up with was the opposite. On arrival I was told about the £5 parking fee which to me is a joke. I was given my room which when I entered had clearly been used and not cleaned since the last guest. So back to reception I went and was given a second room which was fine and without problem. So at just after 11pm I was woken up by to 2 others guest entering my room and switching the light on. I called out that the room was taken and they retreated. I'm guessing my room was given accidentally to them but in my opinion this is unacceptable. So I then tried to go back to sleep untill around 11.20 pm when the lady from reception was then knocking on my door. When I answered the door she wanted to know what my name was??????? Really!!!!!!!! Still dont what that was about. Eventually I got back off to sleep. At around 6am the following morning I was again woken by other doors being knocked on and constantly doors being opened and shut for about half an hour. It sounded like a coach party that needed to leave early. When i checked out I mentioned the events from the night before and the staff were apologetic but it didn't solve the ruined stay. I won't be back.

A welcome return to a bit more reality

We had a lovely stay the young man on reception called Chris was so helpful and professional he was a proper Gentleman. The only down side is charging 5.00 per night reg parking can understand it for 1 night but not if your stay is longer.

Nice hotei, spoilt by a party arriving in around fifteen cars arriving at 9.00pm, kids turned the car park into a scooter park, its meant for parking cars not a playground, parents no control over them, cars were just parked all over the place includeing blocking other residents in. All social distancing rules were disregarded by this group and no masks worn by adults while in hotel.
The good points, receptionist very helpful, very clean rooms , comfortable bed, plenty of towels and tea coffee etc

This hotel is very dog friendly and the one small thing that was a problem in the room was fixed quickly once I reported it. If you are a light sleeper do not have a room overlooking the front car park as the road is very noisy.

Not the same as my earlier stays.

This was my third stay at this hotel. I had a shock when checking in as I had to pay parking fees for the duration of my stay. (What was that all about). Also my wife doesn’t do breakfast and the last two stays I paid a separate price for continental breakfast for her. However this stay a full English and continental were the same price. A little steep for coffee and toast. Our room was clean,bed was comfy. However there was a smell in our room which smelt like drains. The receptionist said a engineer wasn’t available until Monday. The cleaner sprayed our carpet with air freshener. Which helped masked the smell.

Booked and pre-paid for 2 nights only half the team turned up on the first night and the rest of the team came on the second Night to be told they had sold the rooms. after discussing it with the manager they only had 1 room left. surely pre-paying for a room secures it so they can't re sell it. hotel never contact me to see if the rooms that where not taken on the first where going to be a no show??.

Great service and good value for money!

I stayed here for the weekend and this hotel was perfect for my trip!
I went for the business room as bigger and better quality of bathroom. Quiet and very relaxing. Staff were efficient and customer service was excellent!
I avoided breakfast and dining as I was out. However I recommend nipping into Morrison’s and purchasing mineral water, decent instant coffee and some milk. The price of breakfast was out of touch, overly expensive. I chose to have porridge in my room and fruit from my own purchase.
I would definitely be coming back again to stay! The room is good value for money and the mattress is just perfect to sleep on.
I would advise the owner to up his game with the tea and coffee facilities - invest in fair trade and better quality of kettle. It is a poor quality of kettle and mugs! No coffee pod machine and a little behind the times.
Hence I bought my own coffee and water!

Did the job

Did the job for me when I finally found the night receptionist to check me in. Room is small and basic but clean with good drinks facilities and even an ironing board (usually have to ask for them). Two issues for me were lack of any sort of desk, and the lighting that I can only describe as 'Operating Theatre'. Both are easily fixable.

(NB: Google didn't know where it was and sent me three miles back along the A45. Beware!)
