I didnt see air conditioning in the room but there was a heater on the wall. I didnt turn on nor did the light by the hallway.

All good, but air con not working in room. Staff were excellent as initially gave me a joining room where I could hear everything the neighbours were saying. They immediately moved us to a new room, upgrading to an executive room. Very helpful

Had low expectations of a motorway services hotel but was pleasantly surprised. Arrived late and had a really pleasant welcome by the guy in reception. Asked where I was off to in the morning and pleased he did as he told me about the shortcut to get back on the M6 southbound. Saved me a 20mile detour. Lady in the morning was also very pleasant. Room was clean and quiet for a hotel on the M6. Was great value for a bed for the night.

There was blood on my bedsheets cobwebs of the ceiling. The bathroom wasn’t very clean. The carpet was all stained up. It was budget hotel you pay for what you get. There was spiders in my room.

You have to walk across the bridge over the highway to go get breakfast. It cannot be delivered to your room even at a fee.

The curtains and carpets need an overhaul. It made the room feel stuffy when it's reallt not.

The main issue I had was logging onto the hotel WiFi. I don't know about other phones but it was almost impossible with an android phone. Just kept getting error messages. Why not just make it easy to get into the hotel WiFi rather than difficult?

Would of helped if the TV wasn't broken in the room and you have kids that want to watch TV, asked to change room's and was told they are fully booked out when the next morning all the other rooms in our floor were being cleaned. Very disappointed with this experience as I've stayed in other Days Inn which were way better.

I had multiple emails regarding the stay leading up to our visit, which was getting a bit much. I had 2 regarding checking in online, so I did check in online. When we arrived we were told by the person behind the desk to use the self serve check in, which we did, we then had to input our car registration on the parking system and pay £5, which there was no mention of this when booking. It seems pointless filling all the information in on the online check in, to only do it again when you arrive.
The room was ok, but not clean and the toilet seat was broken and almost off the edge of the bowl. There was a very questionable crusty white mark and patches on the curtain. There was such a build up of dust and hair where the TV was and the walls were splattered with some form of fluid. We were only supplied 2 bath towels, even though there were 4 of us. Also there is only 2 plug sockets in the entire room. On a positive note, the shower was good.

Really hot - curtains were open and sun came in all afternoon before we arrived heating the room. There was a fan which helped. Bathroom fan didn't switch off. Unexpected car park charge because we had booked through a third party and not direct with the hotel which I don't know was on the website. Was on the lorry side of the hotel where the lorries parked so it was noisy from them coming and going.

The breakfast was horrible. It was a voucher for an independent shop. We had to walk over the bridge over the main road. Everything was do fried. No toast or bread, all deep fried. On our day they had no coffee, beans or eggs. So i ended up spending £4.50 at Starbucks for a coffee. Would have been better to just pick my own breakfast from any of the nearby shops and enjoyed it.

Basic and not the cleanest.

Stayed here for easy access to the arena at Coventry when attending a show. Fairly basic place, one of our party had to move rooms due to the cleanliness! I had a room that backed onto the truck park and was woken very early when they started their engines and left them running to warm, them up. Not entirely sure I would stay here again.

Awful!

It was the worst stay at a hotel I have ever experienced, the room smelt awful, I’m not one to complain, so I opened the window, hoping the smell would go away, but it didn’t, I started to feel sick, I then went into the bathroom and I was nearly knocked out bir the smell of urine, do I went down to reception, the man wasn’t helpful at all, I told him to come and smell my room, he came up and smelt, he didn’t say much, he told me I could have a different room the following night, I said no way, I’m checking out. It was the last thing I wanted to do. Trying to find another hotel at 10pm on Friday night!
