六甲アイランドといっても大きいので、海は見えないかと思いきや、客室は基本的に13-17階でレストランが18階だったので、眺めの良い朝食が頂けました。特に朝のビュッフェはオムレツとローストビーフをその場でサーブしてもらい、リッチです。

While I'm a regular visitor to Kobe (and former resident of Hyogo-ken), I'd never stayed at the hotel before. I didn't know it at the time of reservation, but it's a licensed Sanrio Hotel. It didn't matter to me, but I think families with young kids, should probably check it out as an alternative to lots of other hotels. Yes, Rokko Island is a bit inconvenient for most tourists, but it's affordable, got big rooms, has the Sanrio stuff and the area is very nice and not crowded.

It was a little difficult to check in since nobody spoke English, nor Spanish, nor French and we had a little problem with reservation. So it took nearly an hour to sort things out (using Google translate). The hotel in general feels dated and worn out and in need of urgent TLC. We were there for only one night, so we chose to ignore that the hotel wasn't great and to have a good time instead

In a great location if you need to be on Rokko Island, the hotel is very serviceable but the facilities are starting to show their age. Great if you’re looking for an “analog” hotel experience without digital locks, thermostats, or other 21st century features.

This hotel is well past it’s best. The entire hotel feels old and a bit grubby. Nothing has been done to improve the rooms for decades. The breakfast on the other hand was outstanding and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The location is fairly inconvenient as it is located on an island that has very little to offer either a tourist or business traveler.

We had a lot of trouble with check in and the lady working the desk was not only unhelpful in getting our problem straightened out, she also seemed annoyed to have to take care of us and help us. It took nearly two hours just to check in and get to our room. And all through this process it was clear that she did not want to help us or move the process along. The room was okay, but very dated and needs to be updated. There wasn’t much to do near hotel and we had to take train back to main island to do anything, so location wasn’t great either. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or choose it again.

万博からの帰りのタクシーが混雑していて、チェックインが遅くなりそう（深夜2時くらい）と連絡したら嫌な言い方一つぜずに親切に対応いただいた。とても感じがよく、ここのホテルにしてよかったと感じた。実際には12時前には到着できたが、電話した時はタクシーが捕まらずホテルまで行けるか心配で焦っていたので、優しく対応いただいて、救われた。
万博会場からも神戸元町からも近く、万博と観光両方楽しめる立地で良かった。

ティッシュが部屋にあったのかなかったのか結局見つけられなかったり、チェックアウト後荷物を預かってもらうのにも500円かかったり(数えきれないほどホテルを利用してきましたがこのシステム初めてだったので衝撃的でした)、朝食会場の受付に常時人がいなかったりと、ホテルのグレードの割にサービス面がいまひとつでした。

久しぶり日本帰国第一日目に宿泊させて頂きました。１日目は娘と再会し一緒に。二日目は一人で。兎に角ゆっくりするのが一番の目的だったので、朝御飯が９時半まで、チェックアウトが１０時というのが心配でしたが、時差ボケで早く休ませてもらったので、時間に追われるようなことはありませんでした。別々に予約を入れましたが、二日とも同じお部屋にして頂き有難かったです。朝ご飯も美味しく、スタッフの方もお掃除の方も皆さん気持ちの良い挨拶をしてくださり、良い滞在ができました。ありがとうございました。
