Very good 👍

I arrived to find there was no hot water, which was disappointing after a long journey. However, it was fixed by the morning, and I appreciated the prompt resolution. Other than that, the stay was pleasant, and the staff was responsive.
Free parking. 2 miles away from city centre.
Would highly recommend.

The hotel is in a good location for accessing the motorway but it is not a good area for finding something to eat within easy walking distance. The room was clean and the bed comfortable but a lot of the bathroom fixtures were broken. And not much choice for breakfast if you are gluten free.

Good for an overnight on a long trip.

Getting there was interesting to say the least - would not have attempted without a GPS. Rooftop parking was tight but free. Apparently my definition of a king sized bed differs from the European definition, but the bed was comfortable enough. Could have used more bedside plugs. They have a great pet policy and I am happy that the surcharge was not excessive. Overall a pleasant stay. We did not have the breakfast so no comment there.

Property location is a little funky .... in a very busy area outside of Lyon. Free parking is on the roof. We had dinner at the hotel, and it was terrific. In addition, the free breakfast buffet was outstanding. The staff was courteous and friendly without exception.

They charged my credit card even though I already paid through Orbitz. It seems this is standard practice. Always check your credit card bill. I shouldn't have to worry about fraud when it comes to a brand such as Holiday Inn.

The breakfast was very very poor, almost embarrassing. It was almost just sweet things, like fruit yoghurt, a few dry croissants and some jams and bread and very hard boiled eggs. We asked if we could get some cheese or something and we got a few dried pieces of (cheap) cheese that tasted like they had been kept a long time in the fridge with other foods.

It was a hot summer and the air conditioner in our room did not work (maybe on the whole floor?). The only good thing was the fron desk refunded 30% of the cost of room. Front desk staff very helpful.

We chose this location because of its close location to leaving the city easily the following day. There was no air conditioning in the rooms during the warmest weather seen in years, the pool could not be accessed as completely covered with algae. Green light to have you proceed in garage broken. We were offered to be moved to another hotel but we decided to stay. Would have expected a reduction in rate or complimentary offer of a reduction on meals but nothing. Obviously not well managed in terms of upkeep and repair. Room clean, staff accommodating but not acrestful night

I had to check out 2 hours after i checked in. The air conditioning wasn't working and it was hot as hell. If i remember correctly, it was around 38 degree Celsius. I am not sure why i am not getting my money back. Terrible service from Expedia.

Excellent service! Professional as well. We stayed there on two occasions over five days. On our second stay, the A/C compressor failed and the hotel rooms did not have A/C (a heat wave is currently hitting France). Management offered to cancel the charges for the two bedrooms we had. Otherwise it’s a great hotel very well located with an excellent restaurant. The pool was clean and its water fresh. Will definitely come back to this hotel on my next trip.

Very poor service in the restaurant two of the main dishes were not available and the staff were not concerned. We had to ask for water desert meus etc...They were junior staff who had no supervision and did not seem to have any experience of customer service.
The hotel did not have access to a laptop or printer for guests to print boarding cards etc..
They was one member of staff at the front desk who did not seem to be able to speak or understand English.
Out side the hotel there were prostitutes openly looking for business which was very concerning for those of us travelling with families

This is a very nice hotel with large rooms and there were three of us. The hotel has a very good breakfast and the wifi in the rooms is just as strong as the wifi in the lobby. The parking is easy to get to and they accept your pet here. We will be staying here again in a week on our way back to Germany when we return from our cruise out of Barcelona. Lyon is a very good halfway point between Frankfurt and Barcelona if driving.

Give it a miss...

We were booked into a family room that they knew had non-functioning air-conditioning. We had to push to get changed, and when we asked, they said that they knew that the room had a problem. We then got two rooms - one with good aircon and one without. Too late in the evening to do much more than this.

Also, there is nowhere else local to eat - and the inhouse food was disappointing. All the salad was brown...

Double charged for 2 extra rooms - unresponsive

The hotel charged me again on top of the hotels.com charge. They said they had 4 rooms booked under 2 names, which makes no sense. The manager refunded half of the additional charges and directed me to email their online support for the rest. They were unresponsive and didn't issue the rest of the refund.

Stayed 3 nights visiting friends.The location for us was good but for those wishing to be closer to the town centre not so good.Although there is a very good bus service into town which takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes.There is very little in the way of restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity so could be expensive ifuyou are reliant on the hotel facilities.

Hotel is modest, clean, comfortable with many services. The room and bedding is fine. The breakfast was excelllent and served from early. The location is in a bit of an indstrial district at the edge of Lyon, in the commune of Vaise. All OK. The one big drawbackk for me: I stayed because they advertise a large, outdoord swimming pool. Apparently the outdoor pools in Lyon all close on 15 September, a few days before I arrived.

Good hotel, but bit of a trek by public transport

We decided to stay an extra night in Lyon after a Euro 2016 game, and wanted a hotel with a pool in a decent location for a decent price. This was our solution. The pool is very small (it's for lounging, not for swimming), but did the job for cooling down. The location is decent if you are planning to stick to the neighbourhood, with a few decent looking restaurants / eateries in the area, however it's a good 25-30 minute walk from the metro if you want to get in to the centre of Lyon to do some sightseeing. Not a problem for us, but may be for others.

The room itself was standard Holiday Inn. Clean, comfortable, all the necessary creature comforts. Hotel has a bar if that's your thing. They had the France v Germany game showing on the screen there while we were there. Breakfast was a decent buffet. Nothing special, nothing awful. I'd probably just grab a croissant down the road next time, though.

Overall it was a good experience. Very close to the highway. Parking was excellent and very easy. Having a slightly bigger car made it a bit difficult but if you have a normal car no problems. The hotel stuff was unbelievebly helpful. They spoke English and helpful with directions. We did not have dinner nor breakfast but in the morning there is a small bakery walking distance from the hotel. Five minutes with car there is a pizza place with acceptionally good tasting pizza. The pool was ice cold didn't try.

Short break en route from the South of France back to Calais in order to look at some Roman remains & the old city. Would have stayed longer, but the Lyon was a venue for some fotball match or other, so we bailed out before the morons arrived.

Great Hotel for a one night stop over on Lyon

We stayed overnight with my family as driving to the South of France. Had a family room which comprised of one double bed and a double sofa bed in the same room. Great for a family.
The kids enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool which was next to the dining / bar area.
We parked the car on the rooftop car park that was free and a lift took you down to reception.
Overall - great experience

We were expecting to pay for parking, however they do have a free parking option on the roof which was a very nice surprise! Breakfast was AMAZING!

This was a nice hotel with a small swimming pool outside (although I did not get to use it), breakfast was ok but the cooked food was a little cold, the dinner was a fair average, I say this because the service was a bit slow and when the food was delivered it was a bit cold.

The rooms where nice however the hotel was suffering problems with its air conditioning system, the first night the room temperature was in excess of 26 degrees, the hotel didn't have any backup fans, I was forced to open the window as wide as I could this not only didn't really help but then there was quite a lot of noise outside.

They did manage to fix the air con, however I get the feeling it was overloaded because it didn't manage to cool the room that much.

It's not a bad hotel, but if they manage to fix the temperature of the rooms and the temperature of the food then it would be a lot better.

We were very happy with our recent 1 night stay. Clean room, friendly staff, great price, easy to park our car and free parking if you park outside and a reasonable fee if you park in the garage. In the evening we took a short bus ride and 1 stop on the metro to the old city. Very easy. And in the morning we walked about 10 minutes down the block for great pastry, coffee. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice hotel on outskirts on Lyon

A very nice clean hotel with friendly staff and good facilities. My car had a roof box so I couldn't fit into either of th hotel car parks but there was parking available just outside the hotel car park. To avoid driving in the evening, we took a 15 minute walk to the tram station and travelled into the city which was worth a visit. Overall very pleased with the hotel.

Le parking était facile d'accès, non sécurisé mais excentré par rapport au passage.
La chambre un peu \"vintage\", on sent que l'hotel a déjà un certain âge.
Vu le climat on n'a pas trop profité de l'extérieur, la piscine étant également hors service.
Petit déjeuner avec buffet varié et très correct.
