Staff were very friendly, room was extremely large so no complaints there. A bit more attention to housekeeping wouldn't go astray (cobwebs and dusty floors). Nearby Italian restaurant was amazing. Lovely place in a little corner of Lyon.

The facility and room were nice. A couple of things to consider - it is out of the Lyon city center and takes a bit to get to. Also there are limited options for dining in the area. Construction was going on behind the hotel that started early so that was pretty disruptive, but not something in the hotel's control. Staff were very friendly and helpful. And there was a laundry right across the street!

They offer secure, underground parking, which was fantastic for our motorbike. And the lift makes it really easy to get your luggage up from the parking.
Check-in was easy.
The room was a good size, and clean.

The only let down was the air conditioning in room 201 didn't seem to work. It was on, at 18°c with the fan on full and the room didn't change temperature. In order to sleep, we had to open the balcony door which worked in bringing the temperature down. The downside to that is that i got 3 mosquito bites, and my body doesn't react well to them.

There's plenty of places to eat nearby. If you need to was your clothes there's a launderette over the road.

Typically in France, hotels do not provide a top sheet or blanket on their beds, only a duvet. The AC did not work well, making for a sweaty night's sleep. The room also lacked electric outlets.

Although somewhat small, the room was equipped with a refrigerator and microwave.

If you choose to stay here and you want a quiet room, the even-numbered rooms are on the street side, odd-numbered rooms are on the back side and are much quieter.

Great location for business travel near the Vaise metro. The staff was absolutely wonderful, very friendly and helpful. It's a small hotel, and lacks certain amenities (exercise room, mostly). Breakfast was fantastic, and reasonable (12euros). Very clean, very quiet rooms. Rooms are fairly large, and beds are comfortable. Some nice restaurants down the street, but it's mostly a business suburb, so keep that in mind.

Nice place in a quiet neighbourhood

This was largely as expected given the write-up. It's further outside of the city (although still walkable along the river if you have an extra hour or so), but more spacious. The local area is quite nice, quiet, with a little bakery and an a la carte restaurant nearby. It did always seem quite busy at reception and we had to wait a bit for check-in and check-out. There was an issue with our key card not working for a day or so and staff had to keep coming up to let us into our room (which may have contributed to how busy reception was).

Nice modern hotel north of central Lyon

I had a very brief, but pleasant stay at Dock Ouest Residence.
I arrived at about 23h and had to leave the following morning at 8h.
The reception at the hotel was open and very friendly.

The room was reasonably priced and was spacious and clean.
The hotel is either very new, or has had a recent refurb.
The only improvement I would recomend would be softer pillows!

Vaise is a quiet and safe area just north of Lyon Centre. Not sure it would be my first choice if I was on holiday... but its nice and was convenient for my meeting the following day.

beware of excessive breakfast charge!!

Hotel was fine, good condition rooms were nice. However having been told upon arrival Breakfast was between 7 -10 and nothing else, when we checked out they wanted 13 Euros per person for breakfast each day. Considering we paid 170 euros for the room I thought this was excessive and they should have a least advised that it wasn't in room charge rather than pointing out to page 6/7 of the conditions in French I might add!!

Nice clean modern hotel with good sized rooms

One night stay in June 2016 for one of the Euro 16 games. Clean modern hotel near the old town and one of the main rivers, the Saone.

Good patisserie opposite, and multi-screen Cineplex. Bicycles for hire just outside as well. Service was friendly and efficient. About 15 minutes to the station via Uber. Also within walking distance of the tram and train system.

We stayed on the top floor and our suite had a kitchenette and a Hugo roof terrace. Would definitely recommend.

This is not a non smoking hotel

We booked a non smoking hotel. We ask for a quiet room. Our room smelt of cigarette smoke and people next to us with shared balcony were noisy and smoked. We ask to change rooms and we had to pay almost twice the amount.

A decent budget hotel

Modern and generally clean. Well located for business purposes but a bit out of the way for tourist attractions. Staff helpful and friendly, amenities good and a decent breakfast included in the price. Room was quite spacious but there were already one or two signs of wear and tear appearing despite the hotel being (reportedly) only about 9 months old.

Staff were terrific and very helpful. The hotel was close to transport and walking to the city. Good location close to the river. Room a good size, bed comfortable, small balcony and good size modern bathroom. Downside was that they gave you a paper cup and plastic stirrer for you tea/coffee, there was a fridge but nothing in it - reception gave me some milk in a mug (no jugs) when I asked for it. You could bring mugs up from reception to use in the room. You had to ask reception for a hairdryer if you wanted one. There was a microwave but you couldn't turn power on to it and the wi-fi, while free, didn't work - signal kept fading out. So, it's a nice looking hotel, but no extras (shampoo, hairdryer, room cleaning service, etc) you might expect.

Das Zimmer hätte sauberer sein können. Es waren lediglich 2 Badetücher ausgelegt. Toilettenpapier gab es erst nach Nachfrage bei der Rezeption. Die Einrichtung war etwas abgewohnt.

Zimmer und Bad waren sehr großzügig bemessen. Die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption war sehr bemüht. Der Hund war gut untergebracht, im Zimmer.

Malheureusement j'ai très mal dormi parce que la chambre donnait sur la rue et entre le bal des trotinettes jusqu'à 1 h du matin et les camions de livraison à 6h c'était compliqué de dormir.

Die Unterkunft ist leicht außerhalb der Stadt aber sehr nah an einem großen Bahnhof wo eigentlich alle Busse und Metros halten, wodurch das Pendeln in die Stadt sehr leicht ist. Die Zimmer sind schön, die ganze Unterkunft ist sehr modern. Die Küchenausstattung beläuft sich auf das notwendigste, ein paar Extras sollte man selbst mitbringen (Geschirrtücher, scharfes Messer, Schneidebrettchen…). Kommunikation auf Englisch hat so mehr oder weniger funktioniert, aber mit Google Übersetzer kommt man schon durch.
Würde auf jedenfall wieder dort hin gehen und ist zu empfehlen für Menschen, die nicht viel brauchen um glücklich zu sein und die Stadt erkunden wollen.

Etablissement moderne, belle chambre spacieuse et bien équipée. Literie confortable. Parking sous terrain sécurisé. Seul bémol, il faisait très chaud dans la chambre et ,malgré le réglage, la climatisation ne semblait pas fonctionner, on a dormi la fenêtre entre-ouverte !

今回はポールボキューズのレストランに行くだけための素泊まり的でしたが、スイートルームはベランダが部屋以上に広く、特に何もするわけでもないですが爽快です！

リヨン滞在の目的がレストラン・ポールボキューズでのディナーの方にはお勧めです。リーズナブルなお値段で駐車場付き。ポールボキューズにはタクシーで一本道を5分、15ユーロ程度です。中心部から離れているために静かで、シンプルな部屋ですが十分です。

Vi havde estimat værelse til tre og der var ikke gjort klar til den 3. Natportieren gjorde sit bedste, men vi måtte selv redde seng mv midt om natten.
Vi havde bestilt morgenmad og til trods for at vi var der der en halv time efter start var der ikke meget udvalg tilbage og næsten intet blev fyldt op på trods af vores forespørgsel .

Das Hotel liegt etwas abgelegen in Vaise. Die nächste Metro Station Gare de Vaise ist zu Fuß etwa 15 Minuten entfernt. Alternativ kann man auch am Ufer der Saone Richtung Vieux Lyon, La Croix-Rousse oder Le Presque -Ile laufen. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sind alle Ziele in Lyon gut erreichbar. Ein Essen in einem der Bouchon Lyonais sollte man auf jeden Fall einplanen. Les Halles de Paul Bocuse bieten auch verschiedene Optionen, bei einem Glas Wein, die ein oder andere Kleinigkeit zu kosten. Insgesamt eine schöne französische Stadt, ideales Ziel für 3-4 Tage.
