One More Disaster with AI booking

I took one look at the room after checking in and wouldn’t even consider sleeping there. I tried to contact you but it was nearly impossible to use that little box. It kept erasing my message when The tried to correct any errors. I finally sent the message with errors but your Ai is bad. It didn’t regard the contend but noted the errors. AI is really problematic for booking properties!!!

Front desk gentleman extremely rude. Not helpful with parking and accused us of letting csts into the garage behind us. When checking out after 3 days the older lady in reception had trouble with running our credit card snd suggested we mydt be over our credit limit? When she tried the other machine it went thru immediately. We were asked to use the same towels for three days when i asked for an extra towel it was really big deal. This is a one star hotel.

the fact that at no point until I was given a sheet of paper at checkin to hotel, was it highlighted that no housekeeping would be available. It wasn’t until I asked receptionist on the afternoon of day 1 of our stay why the room hadn’t been cleaned was it mentioned that it says on the sheet of appear we were given.
Pity this wasnt reflected on the price!

Just needed a night stay between travels. The hotel is in a residential area, with a few apartment building, pretty quiet overall. The hotel lobby was pleasant and clean, the room was a little small with the “king size” bed being a “French king”? size…
But comfortable and clean. 20-minute drive to the Part-Dieu train station. I recommend this hotel.

Hotel located close to metro station with a few restaurants conveniently around.
The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. However, the room had a bit of an off smell. I don't know if that is always the case or they were having issues as the next day the lobby smelled like sewer and I got to witness a maintenance guy go off on one of the hotel managers about something leaking and him not being given the tools/opportunity to repair. Maybe all smells will disappear once the issue is fixed?
Also (minor) the VIP amenity is free WiFy but everyone gets free Wifi...

Nice clean and near public transport.

Nice clean hotel, the only thing to change is the carpet in the rooms. The carpet looks clean however these days for hygiene and easy cleaning hotels should avoid them in the bedrooms. Hotel fairly well situated not far from public transport getting you to all touristic and shopping sites.
I will stay there again.

Our stay was very good, the room was comfortable and location close to the metro. Not many restaurants around but close to groceries, bakery and the an on site restaurant. Breakfast was great, one of the few locations where I was able to find soy milk and gluten free items.

Room was comfortably large and fresh with king size bed. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location is a little out of central area but that is accessible in 1 or 2 stops using close by metro. Street parking is payable Monday to Saturday, hotel can provide undercover parking for 12 euro/day.

Well maintained hotel in a relatively central area of Lyon. The room was comfortable and well equipped. Service was friendly but check in took a little while as there were 2 or 3 other customers who had problems with their keys not working. If you arrive late, there aren't too many options to find a late dinner and the restaurant has a rather limited late-night menu.

Surprisingly good.

Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast was good. First impressions weren’t great as surrounding area doesn’t look great but once parked up in the garage me and my 7nyear old son walked 500m to a bar/restaurant the hotel recommended were again everyone was friendly and the food was great. Very pleasant stop off on our way to the south.

Stayed two nights. Room was spacious, well laid out, bright and clean. Appeared to be new or at least recently refurbished. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Metro is quite close and only one stop to vieux ville so really well situated. Glad we decided to stay here.

Stop off point to the south of France

We drove from Calais to Lyon and were looking for a cheap but comfortable hotel to stop en route to the south. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and food very good at reasonable price. If you are fortunate enough you can park on the road outside the hotel which is free rather than paying 12 euros.

This hotel is a surprise. From the outside it is nothing special but the inside is really nice - rooms have all been remodeled and the beds are very comfy. Better yet, the staff at the reception desk are really professional and very helpful and friendly. We will stay here again when we return to Lyon because it is a good value and well located for access to Vieux Lyon by Metro. The breakfast is very good too and gets you off to a good start for touring the city.

The automatic door to the hotel is locked on weekends. You have to ring to get in.
Notice in the elevator warns you to watch for pick pockets in their restaurant.
Although the hotel is well maintained they need a security guard. They create anxiety, especially if you are a single traveler. Cut short my days due to this. No evenings out

Everything was great, staff were very helpful. A little disappointed by the location, way too quiet an area, not much to do unless you take the train to the city centre. Everything closes really early around. However, the hotel was great, the room was very comfortable, wifi was excellent, great croissants (rest of the food JUST OK) and not too far from the city centre.

Excellent hotel with easy links to city

Take the metro GREEN line to Gorge de Loup metro/bus station. Exit onto main Street (Right above/on top of the metro station) and walk DOWN hill to the first road on your left and you will see hotel/Best Western sign.

You are 2 /3 stops 6/7 minutes from city centre/all transport hubs for €2 per journey or €6 for all day ticket - trams every few minutes, early in morning to late at night. They are clean, safe and user friendly.

Hotel very modern, clean (spotless) and fashionable. Very, very comfortable. The bed is 5 star. Excellent and English speaking staff. Very helpful and genuinly cheerful. Breakfast is top class, good bakery/bistro quality.

The hotel is in a very quite, safe area with bus/metro stations 2\3 minutes walk away. I have paid a lot more for hotels of less quality. Shops, cafes etc can be found in town centre area about 8/9 minute walk away. Exit hotel to right and turn right at end of road - walk straight ahead. The shopping area runs along river bank and side streets. Turn right at river and walk along it to reach city centre if you want a longer walk.

We booked this hotel the night before going and the price is amazing for the location and standard of hotel. 4 minute walk to the metro that will link to anywhere in the city. Service is great and the hotel room is clean and comfy. The only thing that was lacking was their internet. The Internet was extremely slow and breaks all the time. It's not even strong enough to support an Internet call (via Skype or FaceTime or we chat ) but the overall experience is great for an amazing price! Highly recommended!

A mixed bag

The room was renovated and while a bit small, it was comfortable. The hotel is undergoing a renovation and the public areas are a little old and limited. The elevators in particular need upgrading. The immediate area does not have much to offer but it is close a subway station and the subway system is excellent. We were able to go to the Vieux Lyon and the downtown core quite easily and cheaply and enjoyed the restaurant scene and a river cruise on the two rivers that meet in Lyon.

Gute Lage und es ist eine Empfehlung wert.

Haben das Hotel für die Durchreise genutzt und wollten uns Lyon ansehen. Nur kurzer
Weg zur Metro und damit schnelle Anbindung.
Die Zimmer hatten einen guten Standart und waren modern eingerichtet. Betten haben sich gut gelegen. Durch Nutzung der Tiefgarage, Anreise auch mit Auto kein Problem. Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und in einer guten Qualität.

Hôtel situé dans un quartier calme. Les bus et métros sont juste à côté, avec une station du vieux Lyon et deux station de la place bellecour. Le parking souterrain clos et sécurisée avec des bornes de recharge pour les voitures électriques avec un petit supplément sont disponibles.
Les chambres sont spacieuses, on très bon état et propre. Rien à redire.

Het hotel voldeed volledig aan onze verwachting.
De kamer was net en comfortabel. Geen nachtlawaai. Handig gelegen om via de metro naar het centrum te gaan. De parkeergarage is een pluspunt.
Het ontbijt was lekker en er was heel wat keuze.
De bediening was zeer vriendelijk.

Le service et les chambres de cet hôtel, ainsi que le petit-déjeuner, tout est fantastique.

J'ai eu la chance d'être surclassée dans une chambre supérieure avec petit salon et canapé-lit supplémentaire (chambre 116) suite au gros désagrément d'être tombée initialement dans une chambre où l'odeur de fumée était intenable (chambre 304).
L'hôtel était complet à l'exception de cette suite, je n'en demandais pas tant mais la surprise fut très agréable.

L'emplacement est très bien et il est facile de se garer devant l'hôtel.

L'hôtel est situé à proximité de l'arrêt de métro Gorge de Loup, accessible en seulement quelques minutes à pieds. Le lobby est agréable, avec un coin bar/salon. L'établissement semble récent et est propre. Les chambres doubles sont spacieuses et agréables.

Bien situé dans Lyon, à quelques minutes de la station de métro Gorge du loup et à deux arrêts du centre ville.
Personnel à l'accueil sympathique prêts à donner informations et conseils.
Chambre agréable et lit confortable. Grande douche italienne. Température de la chambre un peu fraîche à l'arrivée.
Bon petit déjeuner continental à 7 € avec orange pressée, viennoiseries et yaourt.
Tarif cependant un peu élevé (196,40 € la chambre avec 2 PDJ continentaux et TS)
