We couldn’t get fresh air into the room and the aircon wasn’t enough to get rid of the humid air after showers. Our third stay at this property. We’ve never been disappointed. Clean, convenient and very friendly staff. The only issue we’ve ever had is the spotty WiFi. Every morning and every time we would leave the hotel for any length of time we would have to log back in even though we had our devices set for auto join.

Quite simply said - do not book this property. The rooms are ridiculously small and expensive. We booked the signature room which is the biggest and still it was like a shoebox. For one person is fine, but definitely not 2 people. Terrible service. I asked for an extra duvet a week before check in, but there was nothing there. Asked the reception 3 times, it never got there. The cleaning staff left a used cleaning towel next to the sink.. Not sure if they actually cleaned the room. Terrible terrible hotel.

The bedroom is small but well appointed. I loved the form mattress and got a good night’s sleep. The ambiance is tranquil and the reception smelled great. Best of all was Kareem whose welcome and help made the stay so pleasant. When we found that our room was just beneath the rooftop bar and subject to late night noise, Kareem immediately changed our room with no fuss. We never made it to the rooftop bar and the many bad reviews it gets made it no big deal. I bet the hotel would get way better ratings if it could remedy the poor service reported.

This was a great hotel to stay in for our quick trip to Lyon. It is a great location that is walkable to lots of sitesa and shopping. It is in an area with a lot of one way streets and pedestrian only roads so it was very difficult for the Uber to get to the hotel. If possible easy drop of point was only 2 blocks away.

This hotel is a bit strange but has great staff. Our room had no windows looking outside. There was one large window looking over the 3rd floor salon which was super weird but fortunately it had a thick curtain. I felt a bit claustrophobic. The air conditioning was set at 20 (not cold enough in this tiny inside room with no outside ventilation) and couldn’t be changed by us…we had to ask the staff person to change it. The bed was relatively comfortable and the location was convenient. There was no area to stop to drop our bags off but there was parking a few blocks away. The downstairs staff was great. They were the best thing about this hotel.

From the moment we arrived I felt like I was at home. The staff member who greeted us was reasonably knowledgeable about the area even though he had only lived in the area a short time.
The hotel is perfectly clean, well maintained, and is very well positioned near Hôtel de Ville metro station. For new visitors to Lyon, it’s easy to get to on the metro, but takes two short metro lines. Once here the position is perfect for accessing the city and old town, many bars and restaurants, and sightseeing.

I felt like a rich person staying here! The staff were very kind and welcoming (the hostess and I bonded over Canada because it’s her favourite country)! The rooftop patio had incredible views and a sufficient selection of delicious food, though I only had breakfast there once because I got stung by a wasp the first time. One word of warning: they pump some sort of fragrance into the rooms when they clean them, so if you’re sensitive to fragrances like I am, you may have to leave the window open for a while to let it air out (which wasn’t convenient for me because there was a heat wave while I was there, and AC doesn’t work well with windows open). As for the amenities of the hotel, it had all the essentials. The rooms were modern, clean, and incredibly spacious, and there was even a mini coffee bar. It felt luxurious despite the few hiccups in my experience.

Spent five days (end June thru early July) in Lyon at the Maison No. The hotel is centrally located and I was able to walk everywhere. The hotel staff were polite and helpful. Overall, it was a positive experience and I would stay there again.

everything was good, BUT the biggest issue was the bed! Our mattress was not flat, it was inclined toward the head, so your head was way lower than your foot and it was very very uncomfortable. I think they should fix it, other than that, the location, and the service were good, it was also very clean

The only negative I can state, which is probably due to the restrictions the restaurant and bar were closed during our stay and although there are coffee machines and water all over the hotel, it was not possible to get anything else. Not really a big issue since there were coffee shops all around the hotel.

This was my second stay at Maison No. The location of the hotel really can't be beat as it is in the very center of Lyon. Front desk staff and check-in are always great and they go the extra mile to help you with any needs that you have. Rooms are clean and comfortable with great showers. WIFI could be better (and not require you to have to keep signing back in) but it's functional. I will definitely continue to stay here on subsequent trips to Lyon.

The room was small but very comfortable. Our main issue was the rooftop bar/restaurant. They had such ridiculous rules and limitations that we gave up and went somewhere else. If you want to stay at this hotel mainly for the rooftop bar, skip it and go somewhere else. As for parking, the garage they send you to is difficult to find. Be sure to drop your luggage at the hotel before looking for the garage - it is not at all close to the hotel.

The hotel is perfectly located next to Rue de Republique and close to the Beaux Arts Museum. The property has been remodeled and it has been very tastefully decorated. The staff was superb, and the food was great. The view from the rooftop is lovely and the gym is very complete. They have different free weights (those you swing that are not too heavy), a rowing machine, a treadmill, and kettlebells of different weights. I will definately stay here again if I go to Lyon.

Great discovery in the heart of Lyon! The hotel was clean, modern, very well designed with a lot of thought put into the guest experience. We loved the rooms, which suited needs perfectly - great merge bedroom/bathroom concept - loved the coffee machine as well, first time we have slept in a hotel that has a fresh bean-to-cup facility in the room! The staff were super friendly and welcoming whilst still respecting privacy and keeping professional. The icing on the cake was the price was extremely fair compared with many other hotels that weren’t nearly as appealing. A big thumbs up, would highly recommend!

Promising hotel but still some kinks. The hotel is very well designed and has a nice new stylish touch. But there are still a few growing pains of things not quite working right. You can also head other bathrooms flushing from your room which isn't the nicest. Overall, good experience, well designed and everything is pretty. This hotel could benefit from an in room book explaining how things work and giving suggestions for the area/restaurant times etc.
