I enjoyed my one night stay in this little hotel in Lyon.
I stayed in a single room which was compsct but adequate for a solo traveller if you are used to European standards.
Check-in was easy. They held our bags before our room was ready.
The place had been recently renovated and is in great shape.
Very personable and excellent service.
I didn’t have the breakfast because I don’t drink coffee and found a boulangerie where I adored the croissants and the quiche. It looked adequate when I walked by

The lobby was the prettiest part of the hotel and the reception was kind. However, the cleanness was not to the standard that there was ants in the toilet and rust spot on the towel rack. The location was well connected but very noisy on Saturday night (even till 2am).

The staff here was excellent! Georgia was so lovely. My partner broke his ankle while running in the city and they were so accommodating. He is also a vegan and she found us some amazing spots and made us reservations. It was incredibly clean as well! Loved the complimentary sparkling water and espresso!!(outside of breakfast hours)

Absolutely wonderful staff

This hotel is in a great spot near lots of cafes and shops. It was being renovated which we were made aware of. Unfortunately my husband got ill and we did not see much of the sights. The staff were absolutely awesome helping me navigate the French medical system. They were helpful supportive and arranged everything to get a doctor for us. Thank you so much and hopefully we will be back to visit again.

With hopes that my experience was just a fluke, I have to say the only thing this hotel has going is that it is well located. Between the metro and walking, I was able to see most of Lyon during my short stay. However, the hotel itself was very disappointing. There’s no soundproofing, and my room temperature was steadily at 25 degrees Celsius (even after opening the windows, playing around with the thermostat, and taking in the kind receptionists advice). I barely slept the few nights I was there and was happy to check out when the time came.

We had an excellent stay at the Republik Hôtel in Vieux-Lyon. The staff went out of their way to welcome us and had lots of information about the surrounding area. The room was comfortable for 2 people (a bit small, but as to be expected in the city centre of any European city!), and the bathroom was a decent size. Everything was very modern. I'll be sure to book here again during my next stay in Lyon.

Nice hotel . Ask to stay on a high floor as the noise from the street (people at the bars shouting) is loud until 1 or even 2am - stayed on the 2nd floor.

If you are a tall person you will struggle to find a comfort position to sit on the toilet (legs will hit the wall)

The best things about this hotel are its location and its price: the location is excellent for walking to major Lyon attractions and many restaurants, and the price is very reasonable. The hotel is older but is nicely kept. We stayed in a superior room which was typically sized, very clean. The rooms are clean and comfortable; the bathrooms are recently renovated. The staff was very nice. The available breakfast had a good selection.

If you don't expect much from the decor, lobby, or views, this hotel should do very well for a stay in Lyon.

This is a modest hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. Had a computer for guests. They left leftover breakfast pastries for guests. After you turned the air conditioner on the smell was a bit less. I would try another place before staying there again, however it wasn’t horrible.

We stayed just one night, but met three shifts of workers. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they stored our bags while we went out and toured, then did the same thing the next day when we checked out. Very quiet and clean, comfortable bed and pillows. The location was convenient to shopping and the opera (we don’t mind walking). Price was very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel, convenient to all Lyon has to offer

Last minute decision to get a hotel in Lyon towards the end of a trip. Very convenient to both the Rhône and Soane rivers and within walking distance to shopping, museums, restaurants, cafes and just walking around Lyon.

One hastily arranged 1-night stay but all good

Had to arrange an extra night stay on Lyon due to BA flight cancellation. Moved a short distance to Republik. Very helpful reception, took over bags early and made sure safe and we made most of extra day.
Room lacked a decent level of natural light but was clean and comfortable and good shower room.

The reception area was cheerful but did not have time to avail of facilities.

I'd stay there again as in a central location and very reasonably priced.

Great hotel location, near all the shops & restaurants. The front desk was very helpful in booking us a cab upon request. The Hotel design is very modern filled with bright colours. Room was clean, spacious and cosy. The toilet was very large as well. It's very near a Metro station, near a lot of shops and restaurants as well.

でも、シャワーブースも綺麗で
すこし潔癖気味な私も使えた
（タイルにカビとか見えると使えないくらいのやつ）

地上階（０階）がロビーで
朝食を予約していればこの階で食べるよう。
あと、ここに設置してある
コーヒーマシーンは、自由に使っていいそう
※AM7-11は朝食優先だけど

私は、宿泊した次の日の22時すぎに
バス出発だったので
それまでロビーで過ごさせていただいた

本当に感謝です
（無事、バスには乗れました）
どのスタッフの方々もとても親切でした😊

Noisy but central location

If you have a room facing the street it is so noisy from very early morning till evening. The windows are not reducing any noise.

I would not recommend the breakfast. It was not even close to being worth the money. Instead go to a bakery around the corner and get something better and much cheaper.

The rooms are very small but have what is needed. And the location is well connected to public transport and sights around the town.

The staff speaks English sufficiently.

Meget centralt placeret hotel, virker helt nyt, virkelig venlig betjening i receptionen, da vi ankom. Vores datter ønskede at få et lyserødt værelse, så vi blev opgraderet af ren venlighed. Sådan en imødekommende modtagelse i receptionen betyder virkelig meget. Der er kaffe, koldt vand og danskvand til rådighed i lobbyen døgnet rundt. Morgenmaden er virkelig lækker med ene kvalitetsvarer. Udvalget er ikke kæmpe stort, men til gengæld har man lyst til at spise det hele! Værelserne er små, men meget lækre. Og der er et meget lækkert parkeringshus 100m væk.

It was an ok hotel, but considering the price, it was a disappointing hotel. I would have stayed somewhere else for half the price and had a nicer room. The window looked directly at a wall so there was not much natural light, and everything felt a bit dated (surprising considering the pictures looked nice and bright). Definitely not a room I enjoyed spending time in and felt I had spent way too much money to stay here. Glad I had only booked one night here and had the majority of my stay another place in Lyon that was nicer and much cheaper.
