Our room was really spacious and having a kitchen was really useful - perfect for a large family. The workout room was also really nice with a beautiful sauna. We really appreciated the location - right across from the park. Everyone that helped us during our stay was kind and accommodating. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Very close to the beautiful park, Tete D’Or which affords an opportunity for any one who likes to jog to take a wonderful long one around the lake, through the rose garden and by the zoo. Hotel room had a handy small kitchenette and spacious room to relax in after a full day of walking the streets and river banks of Lyon and Old Town. Room very quiet air conditioning system. Good little gym.
Easy access to public transit with short walk to Metro station.

Didn’t know there is major road construction in from of the hotel. It’s pretty noisy through out the day during my stay. Wish this was at least communicated through before booking.

The staff was friendly. The room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable even the sofa bed. Surprisingly the bath towels were big and soft. I didn't like that we had to pay for parking but it looks like lots of hotels charge for parking in France. Funny how while waiting the lobby to get checked in a mouse came in through the front doors.

Great space with lots of room

Traveling on business but wanted something with a kitchenette. I was blown away at the size of this space! Very inviting and only wished I had been able to make better use of it. Great location, very friendly and helpful staff (especially given my limited French). Safe and quiet, in spite of my room facing the busy street. Highly recommended

Nice hotel, very comfortable beds. Not as close to metro links as I would have liked. Very clean and well appointed rooms, however, it would have been nice to have an iron or even a corkscrew in the room. Not necessarily a fully equipped kitchen without a corkscrew in the kitchen in France. I bought a bottle of wine and had to go down to the bar to “borrow” a corkscrew only to be told to bring it right back. That set the tone for me!

I had an emergency on the way to the hotel, my car broke down and i was stuck on the highway with my son, i contacted the hotel instantly to tell them and they still charged me the full rate, i even arrived at the hotel the following day after finally been rescued with a hire car, they charged me full for another night., vedy sad 😥 the decor is very old and dated and the car park is horrendous m, the balconies are a death trap! Stay away from this terrible hotel they will rob you. An emergency is an emergency! Have a heart

The room was great for our family of 5! Spacious and luxurious if a little oldie.
Breakfast was not the best organised but the food was good and fresh.
We faced a problem with our car before our departure and the receptionist was amazing finding us a garage open on Saturday afternoon and a fantastic place to eat!

This is a beautiful hotel, you don't just get a bedroom and a bathroom, you get a whole apartment for your stay! Helpful, very professional staff, really clean and comfortable, great breakfast with friendly, courteous restaurant staff. Gorgeous hotel decor. A lovely location opposite le Parc tête d'or, which is a beautiful place to walk and has a free zoo inside too. Quiet neighbourhood. Bus stops just outside to get you around Lyon. We will definately be re-visiting this hotel, for us it was perfect, as just around the corner from our French family members.

This was a great spot for two friends traveling together. The accomodations were roomy. I only wish that there had been a coffee or espresso maker in the room!! A nice cup of espresso to get started in the morning would have made the experience perfect.

Overall a very good hotel, clean and nice. Located next to a parc aside from main touristic areas. Having a small kitchenette in the room is a definite plus. I’d only suggest to add some kitchen ustensiles, for example a good knife.

We liked this hotel so much we extended our visit by 3 days. The hotel is across from the Parc de la Tete d'Or in a beautiful section of Lyon. The staff has been wonderful, arranging reservations and providing advice on places of interest. Our room had a kitchenette so we were able to buy cheese and fruit at one of the many farmers markets and have it back in the room if we needed a snack.

This is a nice hotel with a lot of character in a really convenient location. A 10-15 minute walk in any direction will bring you to many restaurants, shops, and sights. Close to the Rhone and Vieux Lyon. The service was great and friendly, and there is self-parking in a garage below/behind the hotel. The room was large, clean, and had a kitchenette with a mini- fridge and microwave. Perfect for our 2-night stay in the heart of Lyon!

There was a long wait to check in and no one to help with our bags, the extra beds we ordered for our son wasn’t in the first room so rather than make up a bed they moved us to a lower room. We discovered the the door lock was broken but couldn’t face moving again.

Very close to Parc Tete D'or and a walking distance to Cite internationale Lyon, where my conference was held.
Hotel rooms are a little bit old fashioned, but each has a kitchenette and quite spacious. I really liked the hotel and its breakfast (included in the price in my case).

Lovely place, would love to go back

It’s a great place to stay, spacious and comfortable. My daughter loved having her separate room and plenty of room for a bit of running around after being in the car all day from Marseille. It does need a bit if freshening up but this doee not overshadow the comfort. Staff ver corteous as well. We ordered room service and the food arrived quickly and really nicely presented. Not too impressed about dinner but breakfast was lovely.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Warwick in Lyon . The front desk staff is impeccable. We stayed in a suite 312 , very roomy and comfortable , with 2 tv and a nice size bathroom; the double bed could be a little less firm though; the food is excellent with a huge breakfast buffet and we really enjoyed our dinner outside; Florian and Penelope , our waiters , were very friendly and professional ; our family dinner of eight was a success and everyone enjoyed being outside in a nice setting , needless to add that the food was great , ( we all loved the daurade ) ; we will definetly come back to the Warwick in Lyon , next to the superb Parc de la Tête D’Or.

Value for money but frayed on the edges

The hotel is a bit frayed on the edges and could do with some upgrading. The cleanliness is ok, but the decor is so so. The self-catering is very basic - there are hardly many cups or saucers or cutlery. Given that this is France we were surprised to find that they do not even provide a cafetière to make coffee in the morning. We were expected to rely on instant coffee sachets. We have used self-catering in Italy, Spain etc and their kitchens were very well stocked. Not here. The local area has no amenities, although you can take buses to reach the city centre easily. There is a big park across the street which is good for families. Overall value for money.

Lyon is a beautiful and interesting city with important history and modern architecture and historical buildings. The hotel is in a quiet area near a wonderfull parc. The conference hall where I attended a conference is 20 minutes walk away through the parc.

I stayed there for a medical conference at the Cite Internationale and I walked through a beautiful park each day to get to the conference. The neighborhood is very nice. Staff were very pleasant and I ate dinner there one night and it was very good and inexpensive. I stayed in what probably been an apartment, with living room, dining room, kitchen, 1/2 baths and bedroom, lots of sunlight and big windows. Very reasonable price.

The room is big enough, but the hotel is a bit far away from the Metro station. We have a kitchen without kitchen supplies, such as knife, cleaning liquid...etc. Luckily, the front desk help deliver suppliers soon and they are truly helpful. Daily housekeeping did not serve clean towels everyday, they only make the bed, we feel not so good about the service. The door is hard to open, so we ask hotel staff to help several times, thanks for their kind help. Overall, it's a comfortable place to stay.

Classy Hotel, Spotlessly Clean, Huge Apartments

Typically grand characterful apartment hotel a more exclusive residential area of town. The restaurant food is delicious very typical of the Lyonaisse style. Cocktails accompanying wine ambience all delivered to a high class standard. Enjoy the offerings you're on holiday....
Make an effort to dress well and at least speak a little French and you'll have a lovely evening or lunch without having to leave the hotel. Good news because its not close to the centre of the city and the bustle of tourists. On your doorstep are the river walks and huge park with zoo and gardens.
Note, I believe on Sundays most non-tourist restaurants are closed for evening dinner.

Just one word of caution, do not visit the bar before you've parked your car.
The parking boxes in this hotel are the size of a small car with 10 cm to spare on either side. I dreaded ever night when I returned back to the hotel.

The hotel was clean and quiet, near the park and a beautiful street. The hotel breakfast was plentiful and excellent quality, the room clean. The only down side were the overly soft pillows and the fact that the room was too hot at night. The air con was not working at this time of year and the only way to cool the room down was to open the windows and then insects became an issue. Otherwise a good choice hotel, with very helpful staff and service.
