Main led lights, hair dryer not working. Cark park and ev charging arrangments are stupid and wasting time. Everytime you have to find a staff to go to the car park or charge, and when someone is checking in you have to wait a long time!

If you’re looking for a place to rest and not afraid to walk from one to two bridges and back, this is your place! It was a nice place that was clean, spacious and accommodating for whatever you needed. You can take a bike or scooter through city apps to get around faster or the metro after 15 minute walk. It’s located a 5 minute walk to a beautiful park right next door to have a picnic or promenade. Very relaxing stay! Thank you!

Have never experienced such bad service at a Marriott. It was the front desk staff that was lacking. Had good food and experience in the restaurant. The location is lovely, this could be a wonderful property. It was not just me, I knew of several others that had issues as well.

Customer service horrible. Reception filters all internal calls. They never answers the phone in the total 7 days I was there. With Expedia then on guided tour. Room safe malfunctioned twice. Switched out safe. I almost missed my tour as I couldn’t get my passport out. Response time horrible. I requested 2 towels for me an my travel partner. Never provided more than 1. I had to run to fitness center to pick up daily. Others received 2 water bottles in room per day per person included. Not mine. I bought water in the store next door daily. I requested extra blanket as the room was cold with the system turned to the max heat. I never received and requested every day. Sis not replace coffee pods for the room. Did not clean room unless I requested at after 6 pm. They would
But didn’t take our garbage. It is not the representation of the Marriott brand. They seemed short staffed and employees with no tenure. They didn’t care. I asked to talk to a manager. And that was never connected. I wrote a review to the property directly and did receive a response. That they would talk to housekeeping. It was a silly response that means bothering. They should have credited something back to me.

The access entrance is difficult and people parking blocking the front door for extended time .
The service is terrible they take notes for your requests and don’t deliver . Your digital keys to your room keep getting deactivated daily for no valid reason then you need to wait for someone at the reception available to help you .

Very average room for the price. Would expect more from Marriott. No iron in room and the one they brought me had a short. Large sparks and the whole room went black. Took long time to fix the problem and bring me another iron. I’ll stay elsewhere next visit.

Hello - we loved this property and will come back. The staff that checked us in - training - were lovely and very helpful. The room was clean and modern. Every staff member was always nice and helpful. The convenience of the restaurant, cafe, etc. was important - also, what a beautiful park to walk through. Love the location of the hotel- right at the expressway exit if you're driving into Lyon and convenient local tram connections to city centre. Quiet and tranquil with a huge park and by the Rhone nearby.

The property is very dated and seen better days. We were on the 6th floor and it smelled musky with a hint of sewage.

Check in and check out staff were very friendly and welcoming.

very good hotel. with all comforts, a lot of space, a great feel, looking new, nice decor, very good condition, excellent location, excellent restaurant and great service. what could be improved: cleanliness, the bathroom door has a hanger inside the bathroom, but I could not use it for my clothes as there were brown stains on the door beneath the hanger.... and the area by the basin was not shiny clean, we could see remains of tartar. overall It was clean really, but not in the details, which is where a difference is expected. Also, it would be appreciated to have some slippers in the room. And real coffee in the breakfast area, as the coffee from the machine is not the best ! As well, the quality and variety of the breakfast could be one step up, even though it already quite good !

Our three-night stay coincided with New Year celebrations. Nevertheless, staff was efficient, thoughtful and cordial. Any request was satisfied in a timely and precise manner. The room is designed to use space well, beautiful river views. Also very handy to have internal parking.

Good relaxing stay in Lyon

Modern structure in multi-use convention-center complex with nearby restaurants, cafes, modern art museum, and apartments. Next to Parc de la Tete d'Or, which was a nice park with a zoo, botanical gardens, children's play areas, and small lake to spend time in or just walk through. Not too far from the train station and old town, reachable by bus/metro or even a long walk. Good service and recommendations from the concierge desk. Overall good, relaxing stay in Lyon.

Don't book with Hotel.com their service is horrible when you need to call them to clarify an issue with your reservation, you will be on hold forever and as you know when you are on vacation you do not need the aggravation and the million of excuse in the book, when I contacted hotel.com I could not get anybody to answer at customer service, So I called back like I was making a new reservation and they answered immediately???? what a coincidences? …. Hotel.com should publish the book of hotel reservation excuses it would have many pages. The hotel was fine. If the customer service does have balls they should contact me when I return so I can tell them how inconsiderate they are!

Stayed for a few nights for a business trip. Location is next to the conference centre, but a little far from the old town. Hotel looks brand new and very modern. Room is spacious and came with a nice corner balcony. Espresso machine (not all rooms I thinkg) and fridge (a few cans and bottles. nothing fancy). No snacks in room. Breakfast is very nice. Didn't try dinner. Bar is also nice, and the waiter guy is very pleasant and makes very good cocktails (the other waitor though, is not so much!). I'd stay there again.

Clean, well presented hotel. Everything seems very new. My room was large, warm and comfortable. Staff friendly and accommodating. Probably a bit far out of the city if your main focus is Lyon itself (30 minute walk) but there are velo v bike hire stations everywhere and the road is flat and well signposted.

Whilst the hotel is located some way from the city centre the efficient public transport system is easily and cheaply accessible.
All the staff were welcoming and helpful at all times.
The restaurant is good value and convenient.

This attractive hotel is staffed with professional and engaging personnel. We found them to be immediately available, quite competent, and focused on assuring we had a pleasant experience.
We had lunch at Zuccas-- excellent.
The park across the street is the City's largest and gave us a good opportunity for a long walk after our long plane journey.

Great location to explore the city!

The hotel was taken over by Marriott in 2015 and was originally a Hilton. It is perfectly situated to explore the city, with buses and trams running to the centre of Lyon about every 10 minutes. We were even able to use the bus on Easter Sunday!

The check-in staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble.

The rooms are typical Marriott - large and comfortable with huge beds and working aircon. Breakfast offered a good choice of hot and cold continental, though the dishes were often slow to be topped up and we had to wait a while for coffee on two occasions.

There are several restaurants in walking distance including Zucca, the hotel restaurant, but we chose to explore the Bouchons of Lyon. A Lyon City Pass is well worth the cost if you are going to use public transport.

And finally very expensive hotel parking!

Pas d’eau chaude. Douche à l’eau froide.
Femme de ménage indisponible et chambre non faite. Changement de chambre opéré par la direction pour me donner une chambre sans chauffage en plein hiver.
Personnel totalement à bout et qui semble subir les problematiques. A fuir.

Hotel agréable mais tout n'a pas été parfait. Les points les plus positifs selon moi sont le personnel, et le petit dejeuner. Je mets un bémol sur la salle de bain qui ne correspond pas au standing de l'hotel, et dès que vous prenez une douche il y a de l'eau absolument partout. J'ai également été très incommodé par une forte odeur de tabac dans ma chambre la seconde nuit... Au final plutôt satisfait, mais pour ce tarif là j'attendais mieux.

il est INACCEPTABLE d'avoir à attendre 30 minutes le matin pour le check out , à 8h15 nous étions 11 personnes à attendre car 1 seule personne était en service au desk, l'arrivée de 2 personnes supplémentaires à 8h30 a permis d'accélérer le traitement mais cela m'a mis en retard de 15 minutes à mon rendez vous professionnel au centre de congrès juste à côté , c'est un comble !
