A very convenient location with lots of space and in-room amenities. This is very utilitarian place that will serve you and family well. The decor and ambiance is somewhat lacking and the lighting is very stark in the hallways…kind of like entering a spaceship. But the rooms are completely adequate and the bed comfortable. The lobby features a comfortable and bright sitting area with complimentary coffee.

Overall, facility was pretty nice. The bed was a little bit uncomfortable and we’re pretty sure it gave us contact dermatitis. The plastic sheet they put over the mattress kept coming off and we did get some bumps/ almost like bug bits… on our upper back and neck. We were a little concerned they but they did go away after we left the hotel so it was definitely something with that bed, and room/ location.

Property did not have parking but Parking Celestines is close and good well lit underground parking with spacious parking spots.

Lyon is our new favorite place with this hotel being right where you want to be! Good public transportation to get anywhere you want. Most things we walked to anyway and had an abundance of great shopping and eating choices!

Our studio room with kitchens was spacious. The only drawback is that it was the first floor and non air conditioned. Fine with the window open but stuffy at night when the window was closed to prevent street noise. Staff great , check in check out trouble free. Excellent location.

Efficient layout, cooking facilities were just right for a short stay, even had a small dishwasher! Check in was a little bumpy. We were 4 single women in two rooms requesting single beds. They gave us 2 rooms with one bed and then we had a difficult time getting different rooms.

The hotel is located in a great area. The room was spacious and clean including a nice small kitchen. The shower area was very small without appropriate shower curtain size to prevent the water flowing out of the shower area wetting the surrounding floor. There wasn’t enough towels in the bathroom. The very low water pressure of the shower was also an issue making it very inconvenient to take a shower. If they were able to address the shower issues that would have been a pleasant stay.

The room we had was well air conditioned, which is important for Lyon in the summer. It had a well equipped kitchen with a small fridge and dishwasher which made it convenient to get fresh produce from local vendors / farmers markets. It was not fancy, but everything worked well.

The room was comfortable and spacious with a kitchenette. Despite being very close to the busy Mercière street, it was really quiet as we faced the courtyard area. We love how easy it was to get anywhere from there. They offered breakfast for 14 euros but we were not inspired by the selection so we instead just got a few things from a nearby mini market that we ate in our room. The only thing we didn’t like was the musty smell when we get in the room. We had to leave the window open for a little while to air it out.

The location is great of this apart-hotel as it’s central to all activities within walking distance from tours, Old Lyon, Vieux Lyon, sites and places (plazas), restaurants and shopping. It is a renovated old building, with basic level furnishings. The kitchen has new appliances a plus, but the AC made loud noises going on and off the whole time so bring earplugs to sleep.

The property was decent until the last evening when we had a mouse visit us, eating our various food, including chocolate and a saucisson that I had bought for a family gift. I was unable to sleep since 3am trying to figure out what the noise was. Finally, around 7am we did find the eaten food. Unfortunately I discovered the mouse had been inside of my back pack since I had packed up all the food to check out the next day. In the morning, I shared the eaten packaging and food with the reception. They provided me cleaning supplies to clean my back up. They also said they would refund me one night (out of three nights) and it would take some time to process the refund via Expedia, but refused for 3 hours to send me an email to confirm this. Finally, my friend who was staying in the room has to remind the manager who finally sent me an email. Even though I asked, I was not compensated additionally for my gifts being ruined. This also completely ruined our last day in Lyon since we had a big event that day.

A nice clean apart-hotel in a central area. Easy walking distance to the old town and also belacour square where you can get the hop-on-hop off bus. We only had one full day so that was perfect to see highlights of Lyon. Loads of bars and restaurants round about. Staff were very helpful. We didn’t eat breakfast but the free tea and coffee were a nice touch. Would recommend and stay here again if we were in the area.

The location was amazing, literally right beside loads of restaurants, only a few mins to a Hop on, Hop off bus stop, steps away from the river for a boat tour, and easily walkable to the historic old town and new town. Clean, comfortable rooms in a fabulous location. Since we stayed in Lyon for a week, we enjoyed having a small kitchen in our room. We had many friends and family coming into town at different times for my son’s wedding celebration. Citadines had a variety of room options for our guests to choose. The location made this a perfect base of operation for exploring Lyon and the surrounding area. The staff were very friendly and helpful; speaking excellent English for this mostly non-French speaking group. I wouldn’t call it luxurious, but it was a great value for the money and perfect for our needs.

Its safe, convenient location is perfect, in the midst of the historic district where tourists can walk to many sites and have dozens of good shops, restaurants, and cafes at hand. It's also great for researchers and business people, who have easy access to the whole city. Despite its central, lively location the hotel is completely quiet--no street noise despite many restaurant and cafe terraces nearby, frequented mostly by young people. Breakfast is the only meal served in-house, and the rooms aren't serviced unless you ask, presumably because it's an \"apart-hotel\" where guests are expected to fend for themselves. My only reservation is that the first room I booked, a deluxe one where I stayed for 3 nights, had a very hard, tufted mattress. I left Lyon and came back a few days later to a standard room with a much more comfortable bed. There was almost no difference between the standard and deluxe rooms except that the latter looked onto a drab city courtyard rather than the street, and had a Nespresso-style coffee maker (with only two non-brand-name coffee capsules supplied) rather than a standard coffee maker and no coffee at all. The hotel's self-service laundry is clean and practical. Between stays in Lyon (I was away for only 3 days), I was able to leave my large, heavy suitcase in the hotel storage locker free of charge. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd gladly stay here again.

Kitchen was well equipped but while they had a coffee maker, it would have been nice to provide a few filters as well (we had no problem buying the coffee but found out after there were no filters, so we had to purchase those the next day). Would have been nice to provide a roll of paper towels as well for little spills on the floor. Like a lot of European hotels, there was one sink in the shower area but none in the separate toilet room, which was on the other side of apartment. Would stay here again in the future but will be more prepared.

An excellent apart-hotel in the city center
This apart-hotel located in the city center, very close to some interseting place such as place des Jacobins and place Bellecour. It is very easy to get there. From the Lyon-Saint Exupery International Airport we recommend you to take Rhonexpress train to downtown Lyon and stop at Gare Part-Dieu station. Then you can take Metro to the nearest stations to the hotel (either Cordeliers or Bellecour). It takes only 7-12 minutes walking to the hotel. Around the hotel you can find many restaurants and cafe. The hotel it self also serve you a decent breakfast. The hotel located precisely at the center of shopping areas. Just across the Saone river, you can find the ultimate tourist attraction, the Vieu Lyon, The Bassilique Notre Dame de Fourviere, the Lugdunim museum and theatres romains, and parc des Hauters. Other interesting shops also open along the Rue Victor Hugo, Rue de Brest, rue du President Edouard Herriot, rue de la Repulique, rue Grolee, etc. The hotel is very clean. The staff are quite helpful and standby for 24 hours every day. We choose the room with kitchenette, so that we can cook our own meals every day and saving some money. Although the hotel located in the center of shopping areas, the situations of the surroundings is quiet, so you can enjoy a nice sleep every night. Satisfied with shopping, you can enjoy the scenery by walking along both the river banks, the Saone and the Rhone rivers that runs parallel at the 2nd arrondissement.

It was very upsetting to know only when we arrived (it is not mentioned anywhere) that the rooms were not cleaned as of the sixth day. Interchangeable towels cost money .. We were a couple and the beds were separated (teen size beds). No Very welcoming at reception. The location was great but I guess there are more hotels in the area in a convenient location.

Great location on the Presqu'ile
The Citadines Presqu'île Lyon gives good value for the money. The location is perfect, in the middle of the shopping and entertainment district on the Presqu'île. Shops, restaurants, and cafes are right outside the door. It's also an easy walk to the old city and other attractions from this location. My studio apartment was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. I suggest the deluxe studios which face the courtyard. They are quiet and have air-conditioning.

Great for families due to the size of the room/appartment. Kitchen had everything required if you want to eat in. You do have to pay extra if you want the room cleaning every day. Room was clean and everything seemed relatively new. Superb location for exploring the main central areas of Lyon. Breakfast was available although quite pricey. We found it easier to go out for breakfast or buy things and eat in the room. Free tea,coffee,chocolate and water is available all day which is a nice touch. Our room was slightly noisy as we overlooked the main courtyard outside but not a real problem. In summer you may have to opt for air con which this room didn't have. All in all would go here again if i went back to Lyon.
