The hotel is having a major revamp our room was at the end of a landing which was in full on construction mode on arrival. Plastic covered carpet throughout. Early flight so up at 01.30 for shower. Unusable and very dangerous. The water was scalding hot and the more you turned it to cold the hotter it got. Told reception who told me to leave a comment in my review, or i should email the manager! When i booked the accommodation I wasn't told of the building works, if I had, i would have booked another hotel. Apart from night porter, the staff were lovely and professional

The room was nice. However, we had to request sheets, a blanket, and pillows to make up thr sofa bed. Those items should have already been in the room. My husnand has a CPAP, but there's no outlet by the bed, so we had to get an extention cord from reception. There was only hit water from the showerhead, so if you tried to use the hand-held shower wand, the water was cold. But as I said, the room was nice. Staff were friendly, made is feel welcome.

The messaging around which hotel it is needs to be clearer, its the old radisson and only recently the clayton dublin airport which people are not aware of , taxi peoplemare not aware of etc .. i made my way to the other clayton and was trying to check in when the lady asked me to go back on the bus .. to the newly named clayton ..

Nice room, comfortable bed, pleasant staff. I found the hotel quiet so it was easy to get a good sleep. Lots of breakfast options and the food quality was good. My only quibble is that the hotel is advertised as walkable from the airport. That’s technically true but it’s very difficult to find the safe way to cross the 4 lane road to get to it. There is a shuttle, which I used to get to the airport in the morning.

There was no signage at the airport stating the name change of the hotel and as a result we could not find the shuttle. We started to walk using map quest and it said it was a 20 minute walk, not 5 minutes, when a passerby told us about the name change. We went back to the shuttle stand and tried calling the number on the poster for the shuttle but the recording said thr number as unassigned. I redialed several times getting the same message. When we finally arrived at the hotel 50 mins later and checked in we had to be directed by cleaning staff as to where to go in the hotel as the front desk did not provide accurate directions. The pillows were as flat as pancakes, the room was chilly and had no blankets. The sheets were rough and very stiff and I was thankful we were only there for a few hours between flights. It was not worth the money and effort to go there and I would not suggest it to anyone.

Recently changed from the Radisson Blu to the Clayton the hotel was a typical airport hotel.
Comfortable and clean rooms served a purpose but the bar was stark, cold and uninviting as was the restaurant.
When we stayed here last time ( as the Radisson Blu) breakfast was the highlight of our stay but this time it was dreadful- bland, table order took ages to get and was wrong when delivered. Not work paying extra for.
The location is best thing about hotel being very near the airport with a free shuttle bus. Parking is extra at €10 a day.

My flight was cancelled - the lady at the desk was super helpful and arranged for me to continue to stay in my room for another night (without having to check out and move all my stuff around). Someone who we didn’t know entered our room at 10:30pm. We don’t know how they had access to the room. Front desk just changed swipe card and did nothing else. We have stayed here several times. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

We were given a very dated room that looked nothing like what is displayed on the website. I’d go as far as saying it’s false advertising. Incredibly noisy too. If you’re given a room that they advertise then I’m sure you’ll enjoy your stay because the location is great and the shuttle to the terminal was very useful but our stay was very disappointing.

Room 113. Bed has been moved off centre so I gashed my head when getting up on one of the beadhead lamps. This is a very very dangerous arrangement and should be revived by your safety officer as an urgent priority.

Great location, 5 min walk from terminal 2. The reception staff are efficient and friendly, the restaurant is very good for an evening meal. The bar area is not so good, could do with an upgrade. The bedroom and bathroom were clean but also could do with some upgrade. There is a local pub 5 minutes walk from the hotel with a great atmosphere and also good for dinner

At check in, we were told that the sytem was down and unable to check us in. When asked how long it would be and the lady at the desk said she was not sure how long and go and sit down and will let us know when we can. We sat there for about 10 minutes, I thought that they didn't even asked if we wanted anything, coffee or tea as a complimentary offer. Also, in room 430, the pod coffeemaker leaked water as soon as you put the water tank in the back.

Room was good and very close to the airport. Waited way over 20 min in the cold for the shuttle from the airport. Restaurant service could be better. One food and drink was not served till the manager came round after a long time and enquired . Regardless it is a good airport hotel to stay at for a layover .
