Myself and my husband have stayed here several times before and always enjoy our stay. It is convenient to the airport, Swords, north Dublin area. The staff are always lovely and the rooms are clean.
I did notice an unpleasant smell on the ground floor near the vending machine just before the corridor to the rooms - I'm guessing some sort of plumbing issue. This is the only place that the smell was though, and the room corridor and room itself were totally fine.
I didn't get to use the leisure facilities or eat on site this visit but have eaten there before and it was lovely.

The staff quickly changed them, but it soured our expectations.
The next issue we had was when we went to the bar for a Valentines Day drink.
It took nearly 10 minutes for someone to serve us, despite there being as many people behind the bar as there were at it.
Their bar was nowhere near capacity, but we were simply being ignored.
It wasn't until we asked how to we get a drink that someone actually served us.
And it didn't end there.
It took another 10 minutes to get a Guiness and a cocktail.
The person who took the order couldn't make the cocktail and asked someone else to make it.
They didn't make it until we asked about it.
It definitely dampened our Valentines Day getaway, and recommend Roganstown if you're expecting service.
The staff overall were cheerful and nice (hence 3 stars instead of 2), but the service was lacking greatly.
It's meant to be 4 Star hotel. It didn't even reach 2 Star service.

We would definitely recommend staying here at Roganstown. The amenities were as expected. Service exceptional and an onsite restaurant with quality food. The bed was a little outdated, however, the value and service you recieve for this booking far outweighs this minor detail.

Rooms overlooking the car park are quite noisy with the arrival and departure of golfers, and are near a pretty busy main road.
The pool is fine (though resembles more a public swimming pool than a hotel one).
We enjoyed the round of golf we were able to play there, course was in great shape in spite of the very hot weather.

The breakfast are hot and delicious and add cereals, fruit, yogurt, breads and fresh pastries along with the usual beverages. The bar food is also well prepared and varied at reasonable prices. The beds are large and comfortable.

I sent a message early in the morning requesting an early check in due to my flight arriving early, but I didn't receive a reply. I arrived at the hotel at 9 am and requested an early check in and was okay with paying extra and they still didn't accommodate. After checking in at 3:30 pm I was told the elevator is broken and there was no one there to help me so I had to carry 3 bags up the stairs to my room. One problem with the hotel and room was that it was in a secluded area in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do besides play golf, I don't recommend unless that's what you came for. The other issues were the fridge in the room didn't work, no AC or fan, if you try opening the only window it has no screen so all bugs would come in, no phone charging station, spider web all over the corners of the room, the breakfast was very bad. The hotel is better for people visiting around the area to play Golf, not for those coming from out of town and different countries. The building is very old and outdated, should be 2 star instead of 4.

We had a lovely stay. The only thing they should consider is filtering the water used for hot beverages like tea and coffee. It's tap water and it makes everything taste like disinfectant. Not their fault. Irish water is full of chemicals.

We had a room in the main house that was spacious with large en-suite. Shower is over bath with weak pressure and takes ages for hot water to come through. Dined in bar and food was very good. Great location for golf. Around 25 euro to malahide. Nothing within walking distance.

We booked this hotel for its proximity to Dublin airport. It is easy to take a back way / smaller roads to the airport and return a rental car for an early flight! This way you avoid Dublin traffic when you are stressed about your flight. Classic older hotel with absolutely amazing staff! The area around the airport is not cheap, and we thought this place offered amazing value. Would absolutely recommend this place and use again next time we are back in Dublin.

We arrived late afternoon, ate dinner in the restaurant which was just average and then repacked for our trip home the next day. Upon getting up at 5AM for a shower before our flight, we discovered that we had NO COLD water available in our shower. We tried to contact the front desk and discovered that our phone didn't work either. When we checked out and informed the front desk about the issues, he just said that maybe we could get a refund by contacting the hotel instead of being proactive on the customer's behalf. The room also did not have air conditioning or any fans which made it uncomfortable to sleep in and stagnant air, We definitely would not recommend staying here.

The property was nice and quiet with a golf course around, the hotel was clean and tidy with some nice furnishings. It was decorated with Christmas decorations that looked great all around the hotel. The bedroom was spacious and had everything i needed for my stay. The bed was comfy and the covers were of good quality and made for a good sleep. The gym and swim area was good, with everything you needed for a good workout and also to relax in the Sauna and Steam room. All in all a very good hotel.
