I have visited Bruges many times and all but one visit has been to this hotel! It is convenient for both the motorway for onward journeys and also just a short drive into Bruges centre (easy parking at T-Zand).
The staff are always friendly and helpful. The restaurant food is always great quality! The rooms are spacious and well equipped.
I will be back again soon!

It was OK, nothing special.

Booked a double and a twin, got assigned two doubles. The staff did swap the room but it took 15 minutes and we were tired after a long journey. EV chargers were out of order.

Check in could be better

I notified the property I would be a late arrival, and they responded no problem, check in could be 24/7.

On arrival at 11pm there wasn't anyone at reception, I waited 5 minutes and then went to the bar to find someone. That person came to reception and checked me in. I asked for directions to the room and was told to go 'over there, it's on the first floor'. I had room 128, but I could only find up to room 127 on the first floor. I returned to the reception and the person accompanied me to show me to the room, except after a full tour of the first floor, he couldn't find it either.

Eventually we found it in an annexe to the hotel. It really wasn't a good start to a late arrival for a tired person.

The room was very nice, very comfortable and clean.

Fantastic Hotel!

This hotel was so accommodating of all requests, and all of the staff were a pleasure to deal with. The beds were exceptional and we could not fault any of the facilities.
The taxi shuttle they can arrange for you is also incredibly useful.
We would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Bruges!

Although it’s rated 4 stars, it’s far from the truth. I had to pay extra for the city fee, even though it was already paid in advance. The room was dirty, with damaged and stained furniture, and filthy armchairs. Despite paying for three people and clearly stating that we have a baby, they asked for an additional €30 for a baby coat. Soundproofing was non-existent; starting at 6 AM, doors slamming in the hotel hallway woke up my child, and we couldn’t sleep afterward. Definitely avoid if you’re traveling with kids!

we were staying here because we were leaving Bruges in the morning and had no need to stay in the city. the property was very nice; the service was personable. the restaurant on site was decent. the rooms were above average, and it was decent value for the money.

Revisiting Bruges

Very welcoming staff at the hotel and the reception staff were exceptionally helpful. We used the shuttle to and from town which worked well and was very convenient. There were a couple of things which needed our attention in our room, but nothing major, we reported these to reception as we checked out. All in all the hotel is in a nice quiet spot a a few minutes car ride from town. We’d used it again and recommend it to friends.

Comfortable and quite

Overnight stay on my trip back to UK following a long motorcycle road trip. Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Very spacious comfortable room and bed with superb pillows, large flat screen TV with UK channels and ample parking. Superb draft Belgium beer on tap and a menu to suit all tastes. At breakfast there was a wide variety of hot and cold food with French fruit and unlimited coffee. Would I stay here again ? Definitely YES

A quiet, clean, friendly hotel within easy reach of Bruges city centre. The hotel organised shuttle taxis into the city for €13 each way. Very friendly reception and bistro staff, particularly Joaquin (Joe), who was very helpful. The hotel was clean and well equipped. The room was clean and comfortable, with a king sized bed. The bistro served lovely food and we enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard of an evening. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Huge tv in the room, but they disabled the internet connection or any other smart features. You can only watch live tv. Who does that? I don't understand the reason behind it.

A great hotel....BUT !

Overall, a good stay with mainly 5 star reviews in all areas apart from the two mentioned below. Our dinner in the main restaurant was brilliant. The food quality, the service and the wine choices were really good.
The main problems were
1...the poor quality of the towels which were frayed and even torn.
2... ALL the chairs in the Breakfast Room need recovering or replacing as they were all the worse for wear!

Our 4th stay at the Weinbrugge and sad that we found evidence of deterioration.

Lovely hotel ideally located a short drive or taxi ride to Bruges. The room was comfortable and spacious with a nice size bathroom and walk in shower, we enjoyed a meal at the bistro/bar which was nice and good value considering the portion size, the bar staff friendly and helpful. Will certainly be returning on our next trip to Belgium

We came for a day in Brugge and stayed here because the value for money was much better than directly in the city.

Hotel is great. Front desk staff are amazing.

But the restaurant service is terrible!!! I felt like I was under their feet. We had to ask them for a drink. Then once we got the food (nice but pricey). No one offered us another drink. Then we had to try and find someone to pay!
The barman was severely undertrained and wasn’t getting much help.

My advice would be, eat elsewhere. But stay here!

A few remarks - but otherwise great!

Not bad. However for being such a well known hotel and normally having a higher rate, I would have expected a slightly bigger choice at the breakfast buffet. Put some fresh orange juice there instead of a machine offering prepackaged juice. Offer some pancakes etc. Also, put a Nespresso coffee machine in the rooms (with cups or pads) instead of using dissolving coffee with hot water from the kettle.

This is the perfect place if you are driving!!!! They provide a shuttle to the old town foe ten euros round trip per room! No parking problems!
The staff was great, especially Ksthleen. The food st the restaurent was first rate dinner and breakfast.

Fantastic looking hotel with very spacious rooms. Food is a little pricey and breskfast, although plentiful, was sometimes cold in respect of the sausages bacon and eggs. The orange juice frequently ran out but was replaced after a frlay y the staff not noticing.
However, the knowledge of the staff and multiple languages spoken by them was incredible. Would i stay again? Yes.

Lovely hotel, very clean and well kept, very hand for local major roads. Booked last minute via Expedia for myself and son, aged 16 bed and breakfast. On arrival told I’d only booked for 1 and would need to pay for upgrade to two people, when shown reluctantly agreed to booking but told children weren’t included in breakfast and would have to pay for breakfast - I’ve never heard anything like it. So lovely hotel left poor impression over an unwillingness to honour Expedia booking.

Beautifully presented hotel.

The hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet - what you'd expect from a 4* hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel ever! The location isn't great if you want to stroll into town, but the hotel offers a shuttle service with 3 scheduled drop off and pick ups from town, so this isn't a problem. Alternatively driving into Bruges took 10 minutes to the central train station (parking costing around €5 for 24 hours) with a 15 minute stroll from there through the pretty streets into Central Markt. The food offered in the restaurant was excellent, if not a little pricey, however, we were led to believe by the bar staff that food was only available in the restaurant, but later found out that they did in fact offer bar food! Our room was located at one end of the hotel which proved to be quiet, with no banging doors. The only slight annoyance was our air-con being faulty, and despite reporting it twice, it wasn't fixed during our stay. Slightly annoying, but didn't ruin the experience. On the whole a lovely relaxed stay. Highly recommend.
