Great budget hotel for a single person or for no more than one night for a couple. Rooms are tiny with little storage, hanging space, or room for your luggage. I got yelled at the whole stay by my travel companion because of the tiny room -- but as a solo traveler it would be fine. Best part is being adjacent to the Bruges Central Train Station, as well as a grocery store and several fast food options.

Unfortunately, my stay was not as expected.

The room didn’t feel as clean as it should have, and the bed sheets were not changed during my stay, they were simply re-made each day. There was also no kettle in the room for tea or coffee, which feels like a basic amenity, even for a budget hotel.

Breakfast was the biggest let down. At £12 per day, the selection was extremely limited. Mainly breads, ham and cheese, two cereal options, and other dry items. It definitely wasn’t worth the price. You can literally walk outside to the train station and get a much better breakfast from nearby waffle shops or Starbucks for less money.

Staff were polite and helpful but overall the experience didn’t meet expectations for what I paid.

It was clean, and decent! Very small room, the breakfast for 18$ not really worth it. Also I was 20 minutes late, checking out the front desk agent made it very clear that I was late checking out. And that is not acceptable! It's not like anyone was knocking on my door to clean it.

This is a budget hotel. Set your expectations appropriately to see the value or the hotel. Rooms are small but clean. Layout is functional. Amenities at scarce but is to be expected for the price paid. The staff are very knowledgable, courteous and helpful. No bars or restaurant but there’s plenty of choices in the area. Breakfast is a bit pricy as the food options are limited. Nevertheless, it is sufficient for what you need in the morning.

If driving then park on the upper floor of the station car park as it is easier to go to the hotel.
The market square is 20 mins walk away from the hotel.

The room was very small and basic but for what we needed it was fine. The bed was extremely uncomfortable with the worst pillows, and the room could have been a bit cleaner. Our room also looked right onto the train station which has trains run all through the night so very noisy, would not recommend staying longer than 2-3 nights.

It was a great location for getting about on foot and right next to public transport. Breakfast was also sufficient for what you needed but very basic

The room was not cleaned properly, when we checked in there was hair on top of the seats next to the bed. One of the pillows was with stains, clearly housekeeping should see that needs to be replaced. The breakfast was very poor as the staff was very distant, always inside the kitchen talking gossips instead of watching who was coming, as anyone could come without paying breakfast and have breakfast what is quite frustrate for those who have paid breakfast.

We have had the worst experience ever in this hotel. We are a family of 6 , so we booked two separate rooms. We couldn’t sleep AT ALL because the hotel didn’t provide AC because apparently that time of the year (October) they were having freezing temperatures (17C), so our room was extremely hot and had to sleep with doors open. Finally they moved us to a first floor to open -barely- a window. What made it worst , is the staff attitude , the lady at front desk really bad and poor, basically saying it was not her problem, offering breakfast for free at first , and then once she moved us , she said breakfast wasn’t an option now because she moved us. We had to sleep with window open so cero privacy.
Wouldn’t stay here never again. Plus , the rooms would be ok for a couple or single person without luggage, because they are extremely small and you can barely move inside.
This was the 3rd IBIS Budget where we stayed in Europe, but only here the bad experience , rest were great.

Perfect stay, is cheap and minimal but you expect that, but it's perfect for what you need, you don't go away to spend ages in your hotel, you should only sleep there so as long as it ticks the boxes 👌

Pros: my room was very comfortable and efficient. I liked that it was streamlined and a place for everything you need. I appreciated having the AC, a TV, comfortable bed, paid buffet breakfast if you wish, friendly and helpful staff and great service.

Cons: it was hard to find the hotel when the Uber driver drove me to the back service entrance. When I was told to go to the front, the signs were not clear, and she didn't tell me to go up to the 2nd floor.

Worst hotel in all my stay in Belgium. Small, unkept, no AC and didn’t even have basic phone service. I woke up in the middle of the night sweating, tried to reach for a phone to call front desk and realized they didn’t even have a phone. Has to use my personal phone (long distance charges) to call them, only to be told they couldn’t do anything for me but could switch my room. Mind you this is 2-3am and my child was sleeping. Here’s the kicker, it was infested with mosquitoes!! I thought I had it bad, but boy was my daughter almost devoured by these things.
I will not be going back.

Family of 3, stayed 4 days. Room was not for for purpose for 3. Shower area exposed, so no privacy and requiring showering in shifts. Desk, also not for for purpose being the size of a small window ledge. Internet horrible 1.2mbs slowww unless you use option to give them your email - they don't tell you. Extremely small space - barely room for luggage. Windows could only open acouple of inches, AC barely worked (if at all), no screens, so was like camping with the mosqitoes biting us. On positive side, staff were good, room clean and location is central to trains.

Have stayed at Ibis before, no issues, but this really put us off. Never again. Can only recommend of you are a single or couple, not needing to do work from home, and staying no more than 2 nights, with DEEP pricing discount. In short, suggest you go elsewhere.

The hotel is next to the train station but good luck finding it with Google maps, which takes you to the back.. I wouldn't blame the hotel for this excerpt for the lack of decent signage. I will mention that the room design is dreadful, without any place to comfortably open your luggage or store your stuff. Also, the Wi-Fi was completely overwhelmed in the evening and effectively nonfunctional.

The room was tiny and uncomfortable, with no lock on the bathroom door and a cheap, unwelcoming atmosphere. Basic amenities were missing — no bottled water, no snacks, just an outdated coin-operated vending machine. With no AC working and everything nearby closing early, the stay was physically and mentally draining.
The only positive was the central location, but overall, it felt like a €50 hostel disguised as a hotel. Completely not worth the price. Never again.

As others have stated the space is quite tight, but it's all that is needed, so wasn't too much of a bother us. We were barely there anyway.
The bathroom light coming on automatically was a bit annoying, but again, we could live with it.
The place was clean, breakfast (additional cost) is an all you can eat continental buffet...so, plenty there, and all fresh.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
The location is fantastic. Just on the edge of the main road into Brugge, so it's very easy to get to, and a big multi-storey parking garage right next door costing 7 euros for 24 hours. We parked the car and forgot about it for 2 days.
And then just a 15 minute walk and you're right in the centre of Brugge!
