Room was spacious & very comfortable with adjoining second bedroom for our daughter. Beds large & very comfortable. Every amenity had been carefully thought out…dressing gowns, coffee machine, Guylain chocolates (topped up every day), water. Breakfast was superbe - Jason & Sandra catered to our every need, with freshly squeezed orange juice every morning, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries & of course cooked options. They even made a takeaway breakfast for us when we left really early in the morning!
I cannot recommend this property highly enough-probably one of the best, if not the best I’ve stayed in in Europe. Better than a hotel & much more personable! What a way to spend a pre-Christmas break in one of the most gorgeous Medieval cities in the world…thank you!

Beautiful property in perfect location with great hosts. Lovely characterful suite (Blueberry) with very comfortable beds and interesting finishing touches.
Breakfast absolutely superb with fresh and tasty ingredients plus superbly cooked scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.

What a wonderful stay at the Townhouse Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in the Vanilla Suite, which had a beautiful bathroom and plenty of space.

The hosts are evening and always on hand to provide helpful suggestions about times for must see activities and suggestions for some you may not have considered!

It’s also located in a beautiful and quiet part of town that is still only 10 beautiful walking minutes away from the heart of Bruges.

The proprieters helped make our Bruges portion of the family trip forever memorable. The location is on a quiet residential street with an easy walk to the attractions and shops. They take great care of the property: guest accessible areas have interesting historic architecture, a great cooked breakfast, and clean, comfortable rooms. Also, they had good restaurant and activity recommendations considering we needed to accomodate an 8 and 10 year old. Can't recommend more!

Our room (Cinnamon) was the lap of luxury! Plenty of room, a separate bedroom for a child, and a separate seating area. After cramped accommodations in Amsterdam, it felt like a palace!
We only met Jason, and he was perfectly wonderful. Great map and suggestions, good tips about town. The breakfast was even better than we could have hoped! Delicious, local, plentiful, served with class.
We give our highest recommendation, we’re so pleased to have found The Townhouse!

Short Break in Bruge

A short break to Bruges which was the first time for us. The hosts were so helpful before our visit with lots of information. They were very good in responding to messages before we visited.
The Townhouse was perfect, ideally placed with easy walking distance to the train station and the city centre.
Breakfast was superb and set us up for the day.
The room had great views towards the city, it was very comfortable and a great size with a seated area.
We can't praise this enough and we'd love to visit Bruge again and stay here.

Great BnB located within the Bruges central area. Only a few minutes walk to restaurants, bars and attractions. Car parking opposite (for a small charge).
Easy communication with hosts and plenty of advice regarding Bruges.
Unfortunately, we had to leave early for our ferry but we were left a very nice take away breakfast pack.

Lovely family run B&B. Excellent location within central Bruges. Recommend downloading the Digital Concierge app which was great for sightseeing. Room was really big and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was the perfect size and plenty of options. We even had ‘breakfast to go’ as we were leaving early on our last day. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon.

Staying at the Townhouse was one of the highlights of our trip! The owners reached out to obtain our arrival time and share their App before we arrived, and were very responsive. Upon arrival, Jason sat us down with a map and walked us through the city, asking what we were interested in and tailoring recommendations.

We stayed in the Blueberry Suite- it was absolutely perfect. So comfortable, decorated beautifully, with over the top touches from Sandra and Jason throughout. Fresh water, coffee, tea, welcome chocolate, FRESH FLOWERS both days!! If we had any “chill” in us, it would have been the perfect space to relax with a book and coffee in the morning. Another over the top surprise here was the breakfast-multiple courses of incredible food, fresh home cooked by Sandra (and Jason?). They truly go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and are a joy to chat with. Have not had a better lodging experience in over 15 other European cities traveled. The hospitality was the best I’ve ever experienced, and there is no doubt we will be returning!

Won’t find a better place to stay in Brugge

Jason and Sandra were amazing hosts and couldn’t do enough for us during our stay, from giving tips for getting round the city and recommendations for restaurants. The Townhouse is beautiful, including the stunning entrance and the beautiful bedrooms with no detail missed. Breakfast is included in the room rate and sets you up for a day touring the city. Fruit, cereals, yogurt, eggs, bacon (option for scrambled eggs, smoked salmon), pastries, bread (fresh from the local bakery). Absolutely delicious!
The Townhouse is located within the canal system in the city, most of the main areas being a 5-10 mins walk away, but is quiet and the beds are so comfy.
Will definitely stay here if we are in Brugge again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

The Townhouse B&B in Bruges was fabulous. The room was large and clean with view over Bruges. Jason was a great host who gave us recommendations on what to see and do and where to eat. There are 300+ restaurants in Bruges and you want go hungry. The breakfast was a feast . Secure parking is available directly across the road from house, which is a bonus in a medieval town. We had a loft apartment with lots of stairs so travel light if possible. Highly recommend Bruges as a destination and The Townhouse as the place to stay. Would come again anytime. The best place we have stayed in during our 7 week tour around Europe.

Wonderful stay!

My husband and I have been traveling through Europe this summer of 2018. All our choices have depended exclusively on online reviews. Most of the reviews were right on and we have been happy with most of our choices. I say this because, after a bad experience in Montreux, I want to make sure that we offer accurate information about the hotels and the age group it might be offered to - beacause I think age makes a difference. We are in our mid-fifties and enjoy traveling comfortably.

We had a great stay at the Townhouse. It is only minutes away from the town centre and we could park right opposite the hotel. The room was luxurious, the bed massive and so comfortable you didn't want to get up to see the delights of Bruges. Sandra & Jason are the perfect hosts and their breakfasts are to die for; a perfect way to start your day touring around the town.

An excellent place to stay in easy walking distance of the city squares and 20 minutes walk from the railway station. It is a beautifully renovated building which is homely, spacious, beautifully furnished and both secure and practical in terms of electronic access. However attractive and well equipped the rooms are, the highlights are a) the level of service and assistance provided by the hosts and b) the fabulous breakfasts! We had an absolutely wonderful time and would gladly return or recommend it to friends and family.

The Townhouse is refurbished to high standards

Jason and Sandra are a very warm and welcoming couple.We stayed in the Plum Suite which was spacious.The bathroom had both separate bath and a walk in shower-the bath had a lovely window view of the church.
Jason took the time to explain the main sights of the town and of very useful tips for restaurants when we checked in-we ended up going to a restaurant in the evening where there were mostly locals which was great.
The room had a Nespresso coffee machine-it is the first time my boyfriend's been able to have a decent coffee in a bed and breakfast room.
The memory foam mattress was a nice touch-no back ache on both mornings I woke up.
We had breakfast in the courtyard as it was so hot-breakfast was generous-a combination of fruit salad,yoghurt with lovely home made compote combinations,a 2 tier cake stand with a combination of pastries and breads,the possibility of having a cheese and ham plate with this and finally a combination of 3 different hot breakfast choices.The herb and tomato omelette was delicious.I also tried the scrambled eggs and bacon.The bacon was nice and crispy and everything was cooked to perfection.
All the guests were sat together on a big table to encourage conversation-I did like the idea!
The only thing I thought might be an issue if elderly people wished to book would be the lack of lift and the very steep first row of steps leading into the rooms.
Also,there was no air conditioning in the room although it didn't bother us-there was a fan available.

Best bed and breakfast ever

We recently travelled as a couple to Bruge and found this wonderful bed an breakfast nestled in the residence streets, away from the hustle and bustle, but yet still close enough to the action. It only had 4 rooms so made it lovely and quiet. A 5 minute walk takes you directly into the centre of Bruge and a 20 minute walk from the train station. Our hosts were very attentive. When we got their they marked on the map where we were and important things to see and do when we ventured out. Before our arrival they sent us a nifty app that had lots of recommended attractions, bars and restaurants. Because we had acces to this beforehand we were able to book up all of the best restaurants well ahead of time. On our map they also marked all of the places that we had booked to save us time. Our room was right on the top floor with a stunning view of the roof tops across the town centre, you could also see the cathedral spires! Previously, people had mentioned that you need to be fit as the townhouse has a lot of stairs - that's a lie! We climbed three sets of stairs. The room was very comfortable and extremely modern with every day luxuries including a coffee maker. Breakfast was a luxury - it was 4 courses; ranging from fruit to eggs to paste ties. We were very spoilt and it was just what you needed to keep you going until late lunch. We have already recommend this bed and breakfast to family and friends who are planning trips as we loved it so much!

This was our last two nights of a longer holiday and we definitely saved the best til last! It was maybe 10-15mins walk from the train station and 5-10mins walk to the centre squares in Bruges. Jason and Sandra were excellent hosts - showing us where to go on the map, cooking excellent breakfast and the room - absolutely gorgeous and spacious. We hope to return one day!

Short Family Visit to Bruges

We went to Bruges for a couple of days as a family. We stayed at the Townhouse B&B. We were warmly welcomed from the outset. The property is beautifully renovated and the family suite we have was spacious and luxurious. The kids (3 & 6 years old) loved their adjourning room and bunk beds. It was handily located for the main sights of Bruges and a local park that the kids took a shine to. The breakfast was stunning and we would definitely come back and stay again as well as recommend to others to stay there. Thank you lovely stay helped with the great B&B

The very warm welcome we received on arrival was typical of our 2 night stay, the room was excellent in all respects, we were in the Vanilla room on the top floor, with a city view and wi-fi. we really enjoyed the breakfast, fruit salad, yogurt with fruit,lots of pastries and then a lovely omelette or scrambled egg with salmon or bacon and eggs. with plenty of orange juice and coffee.The owners gave us lots of local tips and suggestions and even reserved tables at restaurants. What a service. We will definitely be visiting again. 10 out of 10. Thank you

We had a late check in, which Jason was kind enough to accommodate. He still took the time to sit down with us and walk us through the town's \"must-see\" sights. It was exactly what we were looking for with our short two night stay. We felt like we got to see everything in Bruges and his tips for bars and restaurants were spot on. The room was great and clean. It was up to date and modern but still felt true to a Bruges B&B. Sandra's extensive breakfast was absolutely amazing as well. We really enjoyed our stay at The Townhouses. The accommodations are top shelf and the owners couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The place is newly renovated and nothing was spared in making this into a comfortable B&B. THE Place to stay

My wife and I stayed at The Townhouse B & B for 2 nights. This B & B is run by husband and wife team Jason & Sandra.

Check in - Our taxi pulled up outside and the front door opened and Jason greeted us with a big smile, and then took our bags inside. We did not have to do a thing. We sat down at his desk and he highlighted areas of interest and restaurants, and more importantly, what to avoid.

Room - The room was immaculate, and so tastefully decorated. See photos. The room was spotlessly clean, and we had a relaxed feel immediately. The bathroom had a bath and a separate shower with 2 vanity basins.The shower had a detachable head as well as a normal shower from directly above. The pressure was great and as hot as you wanted.

Breakfast - the breakfast room was communal, set out beautifully with a menu to die for! Jason and Sandra did their best to accommodate all our needs. As we had to leave early the next day to catch our train and would miss breakfast Sandra prepared a bag of goodies for us to eat on the train. This consisted of yogurts, fruit, juice, water, bread rolls with ham and cheese and of course croissants with jam.

Summary - If you are going to Brugge, this is the place to stay. It is a 10 minute stroll into the city. You will stay in a beautiful room, have a great breakfast, and best of all you will have the best hosts available in Brugge. STOP looking, and just stay here.

Room Tip: All rooms are good. We had the plum suite, and it was great.

A gem of a place to stay!

A fab stay with 2 young children. We stayed in the cinnamon suite, a beautiful large room with sitting area and separate bedroom adjoining for the children. Breakfast was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble - even delicious hot chocolate for the young ones. The building is in a quiet street with easy parking and in easy walking distance to the main attractions. We will definitely stay again if we visit Bruge.

Why go anywhere else??

This B&B has it all, beautifully modernised recently, tastefully decorated with modern clean lines and beautiful antique furniture creating a spacious but comfortable and welcoming place.
The owners Jason and Sandra are very friendly and happy to help with virtually anything, we were welcomed with Jason booking us in and showing us everything to see in Bruges on a map.
The room we were given, the plum suite was amazing. Even more than I would have expected from a five star hotel. The breakfast was tasty, well presented, and served very quickly.
Our stay here was really enjoyable, Bruges is such a beautiful city, I would definitely go again, but only if I could stay in the townhouse B&B.

Great B&B with lovely hosts- highly recommended!

What a lovely place! Set in a quiet area just a 10 minute stroll to the market square, The Townhouse is ideally located for those wanting somewhere quiet to stay whilst being in a convenient location to get to all the sights. Turning up a few hours before check-in time, we were welcomed into The Townhouse with a smile, being given access to the private car park that is literally right outside the B&B- this is available for a small fee per day and was really handy for getting our bags in.
We were shown to our room which was on the top floor up 3 flights of stairs. The room was very clean and decorated very tastefully. Being June, air conditioning was a most welcome addition! The en-suite was also very nice. My only slight issue was that the hair dryer was not particularly powerful- we had our own in the car to use ourselves so not a major issue. After a night in Bruges and a good night’s sleep, we went down for breakfast. Not your normal buffet style- breakfast is served to you at your table with courses of fruit, yogurt, pastries/bread, meat/cheese and eggs all offered. All really lovely! The hosts do a great job of keeping you supplied with juice, tea and coffee as well as having a quick, friendly chat, offering any advice or fielding any questions you may have for your day ahead. We stayed for 2 nights at the end of a longer holiday had in France and really enjoyed it and I'd have no questions about staying again if we ever return to Bruges. Highly recommended!

Absolutely brilliant.

From the entry foyer through the dining room and all the way to the attic rooms this place exudes class. Jason and Sandra and great hosts and have done a great job creating the best accommodation in Brugge. Vanilla room is where I will book when we return.

Utterly fantastic

Thank you for the wonderful stay. It exceeded all of our expectations. The Townhouse has very high reviews and thus expectations were quite high. They were met and exceeded. The bed was perfect, the room was delightful, Jason and Sandra are wonderful hosts, the breakfast was excellent, the location is ideal, the whole experience was fantastic. Thank you!

Very nice bed and breakfast close to the main attractions in Bruges. Rooms have been refurbished to a high standard. Breakfast excellent and a good way to start a long day of sight-seeing. The personal service from Sandra and Jason was very good and appreciated.

Home Away From Home

Excellent hotel and amazing owners. We had to climb a couple of steep stairwells to get to our room. So if you have issues walking up and down stairs this may not be the place for you. However, that would be the only downside to this wonderful accommodation. Our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. It was a home away from home. The owners serve the most delicious breakfast in the morning and conversation was delightful. The hotels location was perfect for eating, drinking, and sight seeing in this beautiful gothic historical city. We will be back!

Wonderful B&B and great hosts. The first flight of stairs are a challenge but we got used to it. Great location and breakfast. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable and nice size. Highly recommend.

We'd definitely recommend a stay - the standard of accommodation is fantastic: the owners were really friendly, the room was modern and really well designed, it was a short walk to the main sights and good restaurants, plus an amazing breakfast each morning!
