Very rude staff member at check-in. The dark haired lady did not want to locate our reservations in her system. 2 rooms under my name and 1 under my wife's name (same surname) for our group of 15. Suggested I call Expedia to sort out after telling me they have different room configuration than I had booked. Once located the confirmation then checked in however 1 room had a broken bathroom sink causing water to flood there bathroom and into the bedroom. The staff said no one was available to look at or fix it. No other accommodations were available and no other options were given. Breakfast was a good selection and tasty.

The shower holder was broken, what I realised after being woke up by the people passing by the hallway. You also hear your room neighbours snoring and when the room next door got clean it felt like they had opened up a construction side. Do they have to clean on Sundy morning 09:00 AM?!?!
Anyway, after reporting the shower issue and demanding an other room with a working shower which the staff refused I hope this hotel gets overhalled as soon as possible since it was taken over.

Stayed for 1 night before heading to Salzburg. Self check in after late arrival was pretty easy. Got very odd room, a bit creepy honestly. Windows going out to some kind of closed walls patio with what looked like emergency stairs, no view at all. Felt like basement, and felt not safe there. The beds were o.k. May be we were out of luck to get this specific room. I guess the normal room with a normal view would have change the whole experience. The service at the reception was good, check in and out quick and friendly.

I know this is not a fancy hotel but I think what we got was far less than what was paid. Family room had nothing apart from beddings and towels. Coffee/tea was on sale in the lobby for 2 euros. Breakfast was same old boring stuff each day with salty scrambled eggs. Probably not visiting Vienna in a while but, if I did, I'll avoid this one.

First of all, I and my wife checked in after 15:00 o'clock and We have been given our key card, we came to our room but room was not ready yet. Housekeeper was still hoovering the room and we had to wait outside.
Secondly, the Room curtain corners were coming off from the hanger and early in the morning there's light inside the room!
Lastly, internet was very slow and kept disconnecting and sometimes internet is unavailable. We informed the issue at reception but no result.

Mittelklasse-Hotel ohne Schnickschnack zu einem vernünftigen Preis in sehr guter Lage. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, gut eingerichtet, ruhig und mit guten Matratzen. Fairly basic hotel on the edge of the central district. Room was clean and comfortable, but hallways and common areas were very run down. Our room didn’t have a window over the busy street, so it was quiet. Hotel is at the intersection of two tram lines and well connected to transit, regional rail and U-Bahn station is walkable. It was a bit overpriced for what you get, but this was during the Christmas season so not surprising.

Pleasant reception staff. The hotel is not new so some signs of ageing but perfectly clean and functional. Some noise as trams rumble by but is on two routes (5 & 49 close by) so good for transport to the centre. As they don’t run all night this is a bonus rather than a problem. Good selection at buffet breakfast. Would recommend if you want a middle priced hotel in convenient location.

Its a great option if you’re passing through Vienna for a day or two and need a quick place to stay. Hotel has a good location close to U and restaurants and shops, has basic amenities and pretty much everything you need for one person for a day or two, no fridge in the room. If you’re in Vienna on a holiday and staying longer than 3 days I recommend spending more money for a little bit nicer hotel or something a little bit more cheerful to treat your self.

I actually stayed in another hotel (Westbahn) approx. 500 m from this hotel, as Hotel Kaffeemühle was closed due to pandemic situation and hotel Westbahn was accomodating the clients of Kaffeemühle. So, my rating is about Westbahn hotel, which was very lovely, clean, next to Westbahnhof, with excellent breakfast and welcoming service.

The staff were okay, I didn't stay too long so I wasn't sure. The room was big enough but there wasn't any AC so it was a little bit hot. It was fine though. I think the light was a bit too dim as well, but the bathroom was quite clean. I thought it was a bit hard to lock and unlock the doors so it took a while... also, the lights in the hallways weren't sensitive enough so when I left the room, it was scary because it wouldn't turn on. I also saw a bug in the room, which is fine because things happen and it was easy to kill.
