Nice and comfortable family suite with much needed privacy. Fulfilling breakfast. The only downside is a steep staircase and the small elevator with a 2-person capacity. But I guess there's nothing can be done about that due to how the building is constructed. The staff is friendly and the area is good. Close to a main shopping street with a supermarket right across the street from the hotel and very convenient to transportation. There's metro right across the street and also a big tram network. It was very convenient to get to the main train station from the hotel on our last day as we were leaving Vienna. And the hotel is a short 15-minute metro right from the very heart of the historical city center.

I booked this property for 8 nights since it's close to my friend's place. I'm so glad I did because it's just a short walk from the train, bus station, and subway. The place is clean and the staff are incredibly friendly. I didn't see any difference with the VIP access since I got one bottle of water per stay and that's the 8 nights I'm here. Vienna has potable water so you can refill it anywhere. Breakfast is included in my stay and it's worth it , I have so many options to choose from. In terms of location and accessibility, I highly recommend it!

Very good for cost benefit, but for sure it has seen better days. Rooms have been a little refurbished but you still notice the old aspects of the building (elevator of only 2 people, old doors, access with key instead of keycard, uneven floor). At the same time, room was very clean, breakfast was good and the location by the Westbahnhof is for sure a plus. In my opinion, this is a good hotel for a short stay (3 days max) when “chilling in the hotel” during the day is not something in your plans. It is also very good if your arrival/departure from Vienna is with the trains on the Westbahnhof (one of the reasons I chose this). I also think if you book with more time in advance (2-3 months for off season) you will find better options for the same price.

Westbahn Hotel exceeded our expectations! For an extra 20€ they allowed us to check in at 9am and for a little extra we enjoyed their wonderful breakfast! I stayed for 2 nights with my 14 year old son. We were comfortable, the whole place was clean, breakfast was tasty and there was a nixe variety of options, the staff was lovely. The room was a bit overly warm at times, but we were able to open the windows for air. I requested separate beds and they accomodated us without fuss. All in all a great stay.

Great hotel near Westbahnhof. Breakfast was excellent. There is also free tea/coffee in reception area. Room was decent size. The only things that I would improve: lighting in the room (it was pretty dark even with lights switched on), the bathroom door in my room was damaged, toilet flush was getting stuck. However, overall it's an excellent hotel and I would stay there again.

What's I liked:
- The location is perfect, just across the Westbahnhof train station.
- Room is clean and comfortable although it was a small single room.
- Hotel have free coffee amd tea at the ground floor at any time in the day or night.
- Staff are friendly.
What I didn't like:
- The safe in my room was tiny, doesn't fit any laptop at all. Although on the website it says the safe laptop compatible (check photo)
- Only one pillow available in the room! When I asked for another one they said they ran out of pillows and I need to ask early next day to check if they can get one from a room that checked out!
- Would be better to have key cards for the rooms instead of traditional keys.

Renovation from the ancient style hotel hyper next to West Bahnhof, parquet floor within my single room separated door from bathroom which has more sound proof. There’s no boiler but in the lobby there’s two machine à volonté 24/24. Staff super friendly for those three shifts and of course the buffet breakfast.It’s a MUST choice as for budget trip or comfy city trip weekend choice! Must come back in summer!

The hotel is located across the street from the Westbahn Train and underground Station. It is very convenient to hop on a metro and ride a few stops to center city Vienna. There are many restaurants and shops close by. The reception staff were all friendly and helpful. Although we didn't use them, there were 6 bicycles for guests to use on a first come basis. The breakfast provided was excellent: fresh fruit, several types of bread, crossans, and jams, cereals, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, meats cheeses, tomato, cucumbers, cream cream cheese spread, shreaded beet and carrot salad, juice, and of course coffee. The mosmost amazing thing this hotel offered was an android phone in our room that we could take with us to use free of charge for Google Maps, internet search, and phone calls.

The hotel is well located, close to the railway station and subway connections, also a big mall with food court. However, the lack of air-conditioning in the rooms makes the stay very unpleasant, especially in the middle of summer. The elevator is too small and accommodates at most 3 people.
