The room was like 1000° it was boiling so I turned the thermostat down to 17 ° and put it on full fan bothing so in December had to open the window wide the noise from the street was very noisy then next morning after the worst night ever to complain the hotel reception guy said the thermostat is for summer only it should have been turned off without no signage stating this horrendous

Location was GREAT. Loved being close to the underground station. We would get pastry, do wherever we wanted and come back to our nice clean and comfortable room and then easily found good food and shopping. If we come back to Vienna we will stay there again.

The premium room was not premium! Too small and the bathroom tiny for an average person; hard to access the vanity (too narrow). Shower stall small even for an average size person.

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel. Overall it is pretty good although, our room on the 4th floor had a sloping ceiling. We had a different room last year which was better. The rooms are reasonably clean, the top shelf in our cupboard was very dusty, perhaps because the cleaners can't reach. I dusted it myself. The area is handy for the Westbanhof train station and two lines of the underground as well as a number of restaurants on Mariahilfstrasse. The breakfast had a reasonable selection of hot and cold options. Staff were a bit slow at clearing tables though. Perhaps they were short staffed when we were there. It didn't spoil the holiday though. Overall it was fine and Vienna is a beutiful city.

Good pressured water, and comfortable rooms. It has air conditioning which is something that you must appreciate while staying in any place in Europe. Tons of restaurants around and relatively close to the center. The personnel was courteous and attentive. It good place to stay in Vienna if you are on a budget (not requiring all the bells and whistles of a 5 stars hotel). Note: the gym has a single universal machine, an elliptical and stationary bike, but has a hell of a view!

Quite basic. Decent breakfast.

Quite a basic hotel situated on the outskirts of the city but close to the blue route of the Big Bus Tours. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. More so on Sunday v Monday morning. TV channels didn’t work in room. Also asked for fresh towels but they never came. The bar area is basic and little choice of wines. The surrounding area quite run down. Not quite what I imagined Vienna to look like. Staff were helpful.

The staff were polite and friendly but baby cot was horrible and dirty and so had to co sleep with my 2 month old and husband for 3 nights which wasn’t fun .

Really not happy the cleaning. Or the bad condition of the cot . It was covered it dark brown marks which I hope was just chocolate but either way couldn’t put my 2 month old baby in it and so sleep was a very big issue . The room it self carpet full of stains bedding had hair on it . Really not great but I have to say the lady at reception was very lovely and helpful .

Good value easy location.

This was a good choice. It is a bit out of the main town but that is reflected in the price. It is near a ubahn and the westbanhoff and a pedestrian street with lots of stores and restaurants etc. There is a lobby area and a lounge on the top floor where you can spread out if the room is too small for you to work etc. The bathroom is a frosted sliding door which makes the double rooms onky suitable for thise that are very close. There is a fridge. A good Austrian restaurant across the street with nice lunch specials.

The facility is in really bad condition. Internet doesn’t work. Bathrooms are like tiny closets lot of broken things in rooms. Overall a terrible hotel to stay in.
I would not recommend anybody to stay at this facility

Hotel is in a good location for trams and U bahn next to westbahnhof. It has 3 elevator's for customers. The bedroom has a kettle so lots of hot drinks.

Our stay at Leonardo hotel was okay at first, however, we quickly realized the drain in our sink was stuck shut and the sink was unusable. We asked hotel staff three (3) separate times to please come look at it/fix it and no one ever arrived.
Also, we had a very unnerving experience while staying at the Leonardo hotel. At around midnight (12am) a strange, suspicious looking man came and knocked on our door “looking for the gym” (which was literally right next door to our room). The man was not dressed for the gym and seemed very nervous when we answered the door. It was extremely shady and there was absolutely some ulterior motive (breaking in, looking to see who was in the room, etc). When we informed hotel staff about it the completely brushed us off and ignored our concerns. That experience alone was really scary and enough to deter me from ever staying in the future.
Overall, the room was clean and fine but the poor service and shady experience made the experience at the hotel horrible.

Nice hotel in great location

We stayed in a room for 3. The room itself was nice; the bathroom was tiny - no place to put your clothes, hardly any space around the sink. Location is great. My biggest complaint was that our first night, the safe began beeping at 1:30am and would not stop. We called reception & they tried to be helpful, but we spent 30 minutes with annoying beeping until finally the safe was opened and the beeping stop. I would have expected some sort of compensation for having our night so disrupted... Still, the hotel is nice and I would recommend it.

The location is great as the hotel is next to a railroad station with a connection to the airport, next to subway station access, and one of the shopping pedestrian streets.

I found the hotel quiet pleasing apart from the hazardous glass door in the bathroom as well as the glass table next to the bad. These potentially could be very hazardous and lead to serious injury. Hope this is taken on board.

Highly recommended but no in center

Not in center (old city) but 4 metro stops. Metro entrance 100 M from hotel.
Parking on Staturday & Sunday easy to find in streets for free.
If you hire a car from Sixth which is quite close they let you park car in fllor 2&3 for free .
Vety nice stay, got a Suite upgrade - the same room + living room.
Breakfast is rich and tasty. Cakes not so good .
Very welocoming.

We'll be back

Our stay was excellent from the speedy check-in to the efficient check out. Staff were all friendly, helpful and courteous. Location was brilliant, with very easy access to public transport and shopping. Breakfast was tasty and substantial.

Aware - stollen money from our room

Unfortunately I can’t say that I had a good experience staying this hotel.
I travel a lot but it’s definitely was the worst stay In my life.
We stayed 2 nights .
After our first night , during morning breakfast in hotel , all our money and my wife’s jewelry were stollen from our room.
The hotel have security cameras only in lobby so no chance to find who it was.
No any compensation .
I think hotel should have responsibility for their clients and they stuffs in room .
After spending most of day in Police and and Hotel reception I thought we can sleep last night after so sad night and day spent in this hotel , But midnight we wake up because of strong screams from closest to us room , screams and blows near our room .. we couldn’t sleep all the night and just wanted to leave this place as soon as possible .

Very happy. Room had a fridge that we didn't even know about. The wifi was free, it's very convienently located right next to the train station and TONS of shopping. The staff offered to hold our luggage while we went shopping. Overall, excellent hotel for the money.

You have a lot of additional payments and employees don’t inform you about these. Room is very small and wasn’t cleaned during our stay. There’s a bacteria on the wall in the shower. Breakfast could be better for 13 euros per person and coffee was disgusting.

Comfortable hotel in Vienna’s Sixth District.

Very comfortable hotel in the sixth district of Vienna right next to a great shopping area. Conveniently located next to U-Bahn and good restaurants. The staff kindly allowed us to store our bags while we traveled to neighboring countries. Highly recommend Leonardo Hotel and would definitely stay there again next time we visit Vienna!

I liked the location of the property. The mall and restaurants were in walking distance. There were too many things that I did not like about the proprerty. The rooms are small. The bathroom sliding door did not close completely. The bed mattress is too hard. The temperature in the room was extremely hot at night which made it hard to sleep. The information book in the room states that the checkout time is 11:30. The hotel clerk told me that check out is at 11:00.

High Standard Everytime

I have stayed in Leonardo several times. Room & personal was perfect every time, really high level. The only negative experience was once when I got room next to School trip, it was a bit noisy that night around. Wifi is usually really slow.
