There were a lot of people appearing to live there. There were lights not working in public bathroom and the door to the stall hanging by the hinges. Lots of people slamming doors at night and the smell of pot permeated the hall. Had gone down a lot since previous stays

Hubby and I arrived late in the evening after being with my 100-years old mom in the local hospital emergency room. Less than 30 minutes in our room, before even getting into bed, we noticed a sulfur gas smell that kept worsening. I called the front desk, explained the problem, and was told we should wait in our room for the clerk to come up and check it out. After 20 minutes, the clerk had not arrived. Since online info said exposure could be harmful (causing headache or worse) or indicate a gas leak, we walked down to the front desk. The clerk again told us to wait in our room and that he was \"trying to finish an audit\". So we returned to our room, but after 10 more minutes, packed up because we felt it was unsafe to stay. Just as we were starting to leave, the clerk arrived and told us he had a room for us down the hall. Hubby and I stated we didn't feel safe -- there was no explanation for or investigation of the reason for the sulfur gas smell -- and wouldn't be able to sleep there and needed to try to get some rest before my mom's surgery. We said we needed to check out and go elsewhere and would like a refund. The clerk said he'd have to speak to the day manager about that. No refund showed up on my credit card. I called & a different hotel clerk said I needed to call Hotels.com; when I did, the agent called the hotel and was told I had checked in and left 7am the next morning -- an outright lie! I'm a senior citizen & had never requested a hotel refund before.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. The beds were small but comfortable enough. They also serve a well balanced breakfast with multiple items to choose from. They didnt have a designated pet area but had enough grounds to walk your dogs and it was clean so guests do pick up after their pets. The guests were very nice as well. My only complaint would be that for the price they charge, they should update the rooms a bit, like getting rid of the old carpets in the rooms. It just had a very strong moldy smell that isnt healthy for anyone. Other than that, it was a good stay.

Fresh not stale smelling room, could use some updating but for rooms needed for sleeping they are just fine. Adequate breakfast, could use some non sugary cereal choices, like the hot cocoa option.

The riom had webs in the ceiling and the bath tub had black on the bottom. Like it hadn’t been scrubbed in awhile. I booked my appointment 4 months in advance requesting joint rooms and did receive that. When I checked in I was told they were very booked and wasn’t sure what rooms were connected. How do you not know?

We had a nice stay at this Comfort Inn. The room was comfortable and clean. The price was reasonable too. The only thing I did not enjoy was the coffee at the breakfast bar. It’s really bad and could be easily fixed. It’s likely a problem at other Comfort Inns as well.

To be totally honest on my side of the bed it smelt like there was perfume on one of the pillows and also on the mattress pad underneath the sheet now I’m not quite sure if housekeeping is required to change out pillows or take the pad off of the bed and put new on, but that was my only peeve that I had with my room

This hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff was super friendly & accommodating (I had my dog with me, asked for a late check-out). Their pool is really nice and their breakfast was good. They even had a variety fresh cookies and lemon water available at the front desk for free! For the price, you couldn't ask for more!

Clean overall, bathtubs could use some elbow grease. We stayed twice on the way North and our trip home driving South. We had our two goldens with us. The pet rate is extremely fair. The bedding was clean and white, and the beds were comfortable. The bottom sheets could have been a little larger. Breakfast wasn't exciting, but okay. No real complaints! We'll stay again next year.

There was sewage coming from the tub. It was awful and the smell was terrible when we woke up. We did not check in until midnight and was awakened by 8 with the noise and smell. Could not use the bathroom or brush our teeth let alone shower. Went to front desk and the lady was no help. Simply said, \" Yea I'll tell maintenance when he gets in at 9.\" We left.

I stayed with my 3 kids as a last-minute fun trip. The room was a good size. We had 2 double beds, and paid an extra $10 for a rollaway bed. I was nervous about the rollaway because we didn't think it would fit, but it was perfect by the windows. The frame was very old, but sturdy, and my 16 year old said the mattress was very comfortable. The staff was so lovely, and the pool was great. We had it to ourselves for nearly the entire 3 hours we swam.

TV didn't work went to front desk several times. Front desk really didn't know what to do, wanted to call maintenance and made excuses that the remote malfunctions at times. I had to get firm and ask for another room it was getting late. Ice machine broken too, I made suggestion to give us another room. It was a rough start.

Only thing I noticed was when I asked for a clean towel I saw that it wasn’t clean cause there was a black stain on it. The shower head was splattering like it was misting all over the place. The bathroom didn’t look like it was clean. Friendly staff, glad we were able to walk outside to the gas station. Slept well, and no noise during sleeping hours. It needs a little more improvement

There was a connecting door to the other hotel room next to us, and the handle was loose. We felt this was very weird. The pool is also seasonal yet the dates were not posted, this is the only reason we booked this hotel. The property was so bad that we checked right out. There was literally mold on the ceiling and the room smelt funny. Awful.

Very nice hotel in Lancaster County.

The only downside to this hotel are the pillows. The are very small and uncomfortable. Whenever I stay here, I bring my own pillow. The breakfast is very good. There are plenty of options.

Closeness to many antique shops - I have been to this hotel several times and my last visit the breakfast could use some improvement. the coffee was horrible and the bagels were soggy. I know its just a quick bite but I still feel it could be better.
