Wonderful staff! Delicious cuisine. Clean. Room lighting was so dim that I had to pack outside in the courtyard. Noisy guests upstairs - stomping around at night was very disrespectful. Shower drain did not function and shower wand wouldn't stay in place, but staff was going to fix ASAP and they cared. Overall ok experience. Will return.

Charming hotel located close to town, great location for our needs. Wonderful breakfast buffet! Our bathroom had a tub but no shower. I didn’t mind this but worth noting if a standing shower is needed.

Lovely old building with character

The Lodge is situated in a lovely old tastefully converted building with large rooms, although basic – very clean. The Lodge has a really nice atmosphere and makes you feel welcome.
The receptionist was very helpful, pleasant and welcoming. Very friendly and helpful staff, (so much so we parked our car facing the wrong way and the guy at the bar advised us to spin it around before we got a heavy fine – thanks!).
Across the road is a lovely park, and a nice stroll along the river takes you to the centre of Leuven (about a 20 minute stroll).
Beware the restaurant on site can be very expensive! We returned from our evening out in town for coffee and a desert here and had 2 cappuccinos and 2chocolate deserts - €27.60! Ouch!!

This hotel was an old mansion changed to lodge. Rooms were big but it misses even the basic amenities. Room was full of dust and smell and i got allergic immediately. There is no proper room service too. Overall it lacks a comfortable stay

Hotel is old farm inn next to small castle and close to Imec. Limit eats in area So if you do not have car dining options are limited. Hotel has restaurant but is pricy. Good Greek across street. Rooms are clean with rustic character. Third time staying in hotel.

The Lodge Heverlee

The Lodge is situated in a lovely old building tastefully converted - the stables and coachhouses to Arenberg Palace which is set in lovely park settings across the road . Friendly and helpful staff. The Lodge has a really nice atmosphere and makes you feel at home. The breakfast is a very good self serve selection with a good range of choices. On street parking is easily found and there is teally good bus access to the centre of Leuven at the front door.
i am returning in a few weeks and I am very glad i made that decision when i booked my original trip.

Charming hotel at Heverlee

Loved the charm of the hotel - rustic farmhouse with some contemporary pieces. Very well done. Loved the vaulted wood beams in the room. Only complaint was no shelf in bathroom (had to bring barstool from room into bathroom to put my toiletries on). Went for incredible nature walk right down the street. Would definitely stay here again.

a one night stay at this hotel, the receptionist was very helpful, pleasant and welcoming. The room was very spacious and clean, the bathroom a bit cold in the morning but otherwise everything was in the correct place. It is located in a quiet area outside of the student noise of Leuven but accessible to the city center.

I stayed here to attend a conference at the KU Leuven across the street. The hotel is a renovated farmhouse, with all of the quirkiness and charm you'd expect. I found it to be one of the best accommodations of this type in which I have had the pleasure of staying in Europe. The hotel is in an upscale neighborhood which is very beautiful, and it's about a 30 minute walk to downtown (or you could take the bus, which stops right out front).

old farm. a bit of charm but cold in some places and a bit noisy due to wood structure. Hotel service was excellent, and convenient possibility of parking. Restaurant: fodd was great, but service very very slow. Breakfast was fine and pleasant too.
Good experience overall and great for porximity of KU Leuven @ Heverlee.

A Unique Hotel that I would stay at again and again...

Pulling up to the hotel, you first notice the uniqueness and beauty of the hotel. The staff was extremely accomodating. We arrived around 11 in the morning, and the representative walked us up to our room (there is no elevator). The room wasn't ready, but we were able to store our luggage and she quickly had the cleaning staff clean up the room. The room was awesome with a comfy bed, excellent decor (exposed logs from the original lodge), and a nice bathroom. The Lodge was also equipped with free wireless Internet. The restaurant, although a little pricy, was delicious with great service (and popular with the locals). My husband and I visited eight countries and stayed in 11 hotels on this trip and the Heverlee Lodge was always on the top of our list.

Certains interrupteurs ne fonctionnaient pas notamment ceux du couloir ( situation un peu critique avec les marches d'escalier dans le noir). La climatisation en mode chaud faisait pas mal de bruit pour dormir mais sinon tout était bien.

Prima geslapen, ontbijt was heerlijk. Er loopt een spoorlijn vlak langs maar die hoor je eigenlijk niet met de ramen dicht. Aan de andere kant een mooi kasteel met bijbehorende tuin waarin je heerlijk even kunt wandelen. Ontvangst was een beetje vreemd, er lag een formulier met de sleutel op de balie naast meerdere formulieren en sleutels. Moest in het restaurant gaan vragen waar ik kon parkeren. Kamer was ruim, wel een beetje stoffig. De oude elementen van het gebouw met spanten zijn goed zichtbaar. Had geen douche maar een ligbad onder een schuine wand waardoor je niet kon staan om te douchen. Het minste was dat er een sterke kook/frituur lucht in het toilet omhoog kwam. Dat deed afbreuk aan de kamer.

部屋は清潔です。ネット接続も困りません。この広さであれば、安いです。立派なレストランも付いてます。
多少駅からは離れてますが、De Lijnというアプリを入れれば、簡単に乗車できます。Brussels空港からも20分以内で、Leuven駅に着きますSNCBをインストールしておけば、電車の乗車も簡単です。Leuvenの街はとても平和で安全です。

Mais j’avais demandé un lit 2 places, nous avons eu 2 lits 1 place, les photos des chambres proposées ne correspondent pas du tout à celle qui nous a été donnée, petite, pas de déco, une petite bouteille d’eau même pas une bouilloire pour un thé ou café et il faisait moins de 10° dans la salle de bain. Un chauffage électrique avec minuterie de 15 mn, même pas le temps de réchauffer la pièce
Isolation pas top : froid et bruit rentrent facilement
Un conseil, éviter l’hôtel en hiver

Very nice place to stay. Nice style building. I had a bigger room nice and spacious, a bit cold in winter time but there are different heaters to warm it up. Really good restaurant at the hotel with very nice food. Parking was difficult to find but they have a parking garage as hard to find a parking space in the streets around.

Op het eerste blik, is het mooie en prachtige ruimte en mooie balken. Maar als je verder kijkt behoeft de kamer wel hier en daar een opknapbeurt. Stoel stuk, beetje als een studentenkamer ingericht. Handdoeken rek los, haardroger hangt los, bedspiraal voel je. En airco maakt kabaal. Het ontbijt is wel supee.

Zimmer und integriertes Bad (Toilette extra) waren ok, aber keine einzige Steckdose im Zimmer (eine am Waschbecken). Tiefgarage ungepflegt - Gepäck muss über mehrere Treppen durch das Restaurant ins Hotel und dann ins Zimmer transportiert werden, kein Fahrstuhl. Lichtschalter für Treppe und Flur muss von Hand betätigt werden, kein Bewegungsmelder o.ä.

L accueil est sympa et le site aussi. Mais il nous a été attribué une chambre (no 4) spacieuse mais avec une toute petite fenêtre qui donnait sur un espace bouché et pas très propre.
Donc chambre sombre et mal aérée.
Odeur très désagréable dans la chambre et encore plus dans les WC.
Baignoire avec rideau de douche qui colle à la peau.
Pas d'espace pour ranger les vêtements sauf porte manteau.
Parking hôtel payant et difficulté pour stationner gratuitement à proximité
Petit déjeuner top top.
Personnel sympa.
Resto sympa.

Hele prettige ontvangst. De kamer leek klein, maar was achteraf voldoende. Wat ik miste was voldoende kastruimte voor een verblijf voor langere tijd. Er was daarnaast alleen een combi bad-douche, dus vervelend als je senior bent. De airconditioning op de kamer was bij een temperatuur van 39 graden zeer aangenaam. Prima ontbijt.

Hotel The Lodge is een perfecte locatie voor een kort verblijf. Prijs / kwaliteitverhouding is in orde,
De kamer was bij binnenkomst echter steenkoud (14 graden) en het duurde tot de volgende ochtend voordat het behaaglijk was.
Een absolute misser dat de kamer niet op temperatuur gebracht is voor aankomst. Dat mag niet gebeuren in een logies als dit.

The Lodge: absoluut een aanrader!

Prachtige, heel ruime kamers met een badkamer waar alles aanwezig was. Apart toilet, aparte, ruime vestiaire in de hal. Rustige omgeving, de kamer kon volledig verduisterd worden waardoor we van een ongestoorde nachtrust konden genieten. 's Morgens een uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet gehad en 's avonds van een excellente maaltijd genoten in hun restaurant De Oude Kantine.

Gang stond onder water bij aankomst. De geluidsisolatie in kamer 3 is heel beperkt. In de kamer naast mij werd er veel gehoest en het leek alsof de persoon in kwestie naast me zat. Ook de bel van de slagboom aan de treinoverweg is frequent en goed hoorbaar.

La suite n°7, qui n'est pas vraiment une suite puisqu'il n'y a qu'une pièce, est confortable, lumineuse et très calme car donnant sur la cour intérieure (pas de bruit de voiture, de train ou autre ).

Gute Lage, nettes Personal.

Nettes Hotel und nettes Personal. Mein Zimmer hatte keine zusätzliche Zentralheizung. Es gab einen Heizlüfter im Badvereich. Ich schlafe gern kühl, daher war das kein Problem für mich. Aber für die eine oder andere Person mag das ein Problem sein im Winter. Zumal die Fenster (schöne Altbau-Sprossenfenster) baubedingt ein bisschen ziehen. Das ist für den Luftaustausch super, aber natürlich für die Isolation ein bisschen weniger gut. Das Doppelbett war nicht so komfortabel, es waren zwei aneinandergeschobene, leichte Einzelbetten, zwischen denen sich ganz leicht ein recht großer Abstand auftrat. Also eher ein schmales Einzelbetten.

Beautiful renovated lodge-style hotel

Nicely renovated house in a quiter out-of-city-center area. The service is very godd with easy and fast check-in and check-out a good breakfast provided and very nice restaurant.

Ok-ish hotel in the center of Leuven

The hotel structure is nice and quirky. However, the room was a bit too cold over night, and the heating system was not that efficiend due to the height of the roof. A bit disappointed by the lobby / breakfast area personnel, as they were rude when my partner explained her diet requirements during breakfast.

Mooie kamers en heerlijk stil 's nachts. Redelijke keuken. Eenvoudig ontbijt. Personeel wat stug en soms tegen het onvriendelijke aan. Geen echte lobby om te zitten bij slecht weer. Douchen in het bad i.p.v. een inloopdouche.

Zona tranquilla, ottimo per visite a KU Leuven

Hotel ottenuto da una casa di campagna ristrutturata. Camere ampie e pulite, nella mia letto comodo e bagno spazioso. Il personale è molto gentile, sia in reception, sia a colazione. La colazione continentale inclusa è abbastanza varia. Perfetta location per le visite al campus di KU Leuven, a 10 minuti in autobus dal centro città (fermata a 50 metri), e di notte la zona è tranquilla e silenziosa, oltre che sicura. Consigliatissimo
