Recently stayed here for three nights whilst visiting my daughter, who is doing a semester abroad in Leuven. I picked this hotel because it was directly next to her dorm, as well as right by the train station. Super convenient location, and only a short walk across the pedestrian bridge into the heart of town.

The hotel is right next to the train station which we found perfect for getting to the Belgian Grand Prix and easy trips into Brussels. The hotel is nothing special and quite functional but beds were comfy and we slept well. Getting the lift from the station platform will save you climbing the stairs.

I liked that it was like 2 minutes to the Train station platform, and proximity to restaurants and landmarks was very good.
I would definitely stay here again should I visit Luven. The staff were great.

As soon as we booked the room, the hotel staff reached out to us. We appreciated how responsive they were. We stayed for two nights - August 9th and 10th. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station but it wasn’t noisy. We got connecting rooms as requested. We noticed that one room didn’t have hand soap and it was promptly fixed.

We enjoyed our stay.

If you travel to the hotel by car like we did, there isn’t a way to drive up to the front door and unload your luggage. You can either park on the street or in the parking lot. It is a very minor inconvenience but we thought we would mention it to raise awareness for others.

No air

No windows that can be opened, ventilation only makes noise but doesn't bring air in. Heating/cooling doesn't really work. Some of the people in the reception are really not helpful (but one or two were OK). Do not expect a Radisson hotel. They say it's 3 stars hotel and it really is a 3 stars hotel. It is really close to the train station and there is a very good noise isolation. Bit of a walk to the center.

Couple stay in Leuven

The hotel’s location is ideal as it’s conveniently located very near the train station. The rooms are comfortable & clean, with the bathroom well-designed. Service is very good especially the front desk staff such as Ms Egle who was very helpful in giving us travel & eating recommendations. We will stay here again on our next visit.

The Front Desk staff could not have been more helpful. I arrived on crutches and they organised a wheelchair for me. As I do not speak Flemish I needed help contacting local medical staff and the staff here made the calls for me. So very helpful.

Great location for walking into town or the station. Very clean. Car parking expensive however, at £22 euros a night as have to use station car park (under the hotel). Good selection of cold foods at breakfast, hot food was only chicken sausages, streaky bacon and scrambled egg, but more than sufficient.

All aspects of our stay were excellent. The hotel is well sittuated with ample parking. The rooms were large and clean, the check in staff excellent as were the serving staff for the bar/restaurant. The breakfast buffet was as comprehenisve as I can recall anywhere I have travelled.

I was expecting a bit more. The room did not have a closet and drawers, I had to hang my clothes on hangers on a rack next to the bed and use my suitcase for storage. I understand that they are trying to conserve water but the shower pressure was not good - it took me long time to rinse my hair ( medium length and not very thick). Another thing that I am not really complaining about but I was surprised as it never happened before: I arrived at 2:30 pm, check in time is 3 pm but typically hotel staff are kind and accommodating. Room was not ready, I waited in the lobby. I was very tired after a long flight and quite jet lagged. Receptionist saw me waiting and said nothing until I went to the desk a few minutes past 3 pm when she checked me in. Location was good and place was clean so it was okay for the six nights spent there.

We needed an hotel near the rail station and the city center and this hotel was recommended for both. Only surprise was the toilet and shower room configuration, the fact they were separate and the toilet had no hand wash basin so had to exit the toilet and go to the shower room to wash your hands, for us this was a first in all the hotels we have stayed in world over.

Great value in Leuven

I have been visiting Leuven on business for the past 20 years, and I have stayed at several hotels near and away from city Center. Must say the stay at Park Inn was the best value for my money. Other important positives include, clean, modern, quiet room. Good location near the train station. Friendly staff at check in/out. Especially pleasant and hardworking staff at breakfast.

For Business, boring but ok...

One night business trip, big hotel. No fuzz, no cozyness exept breakdast area. Breakfast did not have grapefrukt juice, how hard can that be?
Lived on 8th floor with only 2 but slog elevators.
For the price paid this was not Value for money.

The hotel is in a very useful location to visit the main town which is just the other side of the station.
Reception staff were friendly and the rooms were very good for a 3 star hotel.
My only gripe was that the chef went home early on one night as he wasn't very busy.
I would stay here again when visiting Leuven.

The location of this hotel is ideal, certainly for people using public transport. In spite of the fact that it is next to a busy railway station it is perfectly quiet. Staff are friendly and efficient. Rooms are large enough and clean.

Pleasant stay if you as I was there on business. Functional and does that reasonably well. Cloth storage is on hangers in the room. No drawers for storage. Pillows minimal in size and comfort. No fridge but tea/coffee making facilities. Television monitor annoyingly placed to hit your head on. Breakfast good.
All in all I would stay again but comfortably basic

There were a couple of things bothering me in my first stay in this hotel:
•Check-in was chaotic. No clear answers on my question if I could eat something.
•When I came down later to eat they told me that I had to eat in the lobby or eat in my room.
•I ordered to eat in my room and asked them to bring it to me.
•I received an answer yes we will but we are only with 3 people there. (this is not valid for me if you stay in a €140 room, this should be organized).
•20 minutes later I had a call that I could pick up my diner at reception!! I could not change his mind.
•In my room the ordered mayo was not there on the tray and the food was so-so.
•The room was noisy.

Overseeing it all for an expensive room (€140) the valid for money was poor and service low.
For my work I stay very often in Leuven and I am not sure if I will book again

A good hotel for Leuven and the surrounding area

The Park Inn is in a great location for visiting Leuven or other places in the area. The hotel was modern and stylish and the rooms were very comfortable with great showers. We didn't eat at the hotel because we thought breakfast was pricey but there are bakeries and cafés nearby, including a Starbucks at the station. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We arrived at the hotel after a nightmare of a journey, and we were \"greeted\" by a chap called Sven who neither smiled nor said hello. He allocated us a twin room which turned out to be a double when we went upstairs. I have mobility problems and had requested a disabled room when booking and at reception but he didn't acknowledge this when I told him and just allocated us a small twin room on the 4th floor; by this time we were so exhausted we just took it and settled in. He then asked if we had cats with us and charged us 30 euros- the most we have ever been charged for having cats (we regularly go to cat shows in the UK and in Europe and stay in hotels). We asked if like in the Radisson in Malmo where we'd been a few weeks ago they had dog and cat treats in reception and water as as a means of trying to get Sven to engage with us, but he informed us that they \"didn't care to\". We've stayed here before and it was just ok- parking isn't easy for example. There is another cat show in the area in March but we and all our friends- approx. 20 rooms' worth- will be looking elsewhere. I doubt we'll stay in Radisson Hotels again unless desperate.

Dinner on the Saturday night was a disaster- my steak was really over cooked and it took about 25 minutes to get the replacement which was as tough as old boots and inedible. Fortunately we didn't get charged for it.

Arrived early and cheerfully given my room by friendly staff. Room was excellent with every possible accomodation. Breakfast was outstanding with too many good choices. Hotel was ten minute walk to the center of town. Next time I visit the Brussels area this will be my hotel of choice.

The room was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's located next to the train station and I feel that is helpful if you plan on going to other towns. The trains are electric and not that loud. They stop running at mid night so we were not bothered by them. Leuven is a clean college/tourist town. It's a little pricey but we found that to be true in all the towns we went to. I would go back there and stay at the Park Inn.

Great modern hotel with wonderful staff

Located next to the train station, this modern hotel has all the comfort and convenience you desire, and is a great value. The staff is friendly and accomodating, and the hotel bar and restaurant area is nice for relaxing. The hotel and rooms are spotless. It is adjacent to train station (by covered walkway), steps to great restaurants and shopping, and about 5 minute walk to historic city center.

This was a very modern efficient hotel. Room was large, with comfortable beds and nice washroom. Location is great, right beside the train station and within walking distance to Center of leuven. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff was very helpful to the point of printing out a train schedule for me. A very enjoyable stay.

Please make sure you have breakfast included in your stay prior to booking, we thought we had bed and breakfast, we didn't realise that our stay was room only, please check this.

I think the hotel should have the option of smoking rooms, like I say below it was very inconvenient for me having to keep coming down on the lift outside for a smoke, people with disabilities should be offered the lower rooms first, if the rooms did have an outside balcony this would have been more convenient, also I think not having a window that opens in your room could be an health and safety issue

The hotel is a wonderfully modern facility in design and located adjacent to the train station (don't worry, I never heard a train in my 4 days stay). Great restaurants are just minutes away as well as a supermarket. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with anything that I needed. Good hotel close to the train station

Very convenient location, only a few steps away from the train station and at most a 20-min walk from the main square. Modern looking, clean with friendly and knowledgeable staff. One of the reception staff, Sven, was very helpful. Although the hotel is smoking free, the smell of tobacco remains noticeable in the rooms. My room was otherwise welcoming, regular size for European standards, with free wi-fi. The bathroom is split in two small rooms across from each other, one for the shower and sink, and the other for the toilet. The shower has no door or curtain so the water may easily spill on to the bathroom floor. Breakfast is offered at 16 euros, reasonable for this type of hotel although if you are just going to have coffee and something small, it may be more convenient to go to Starbucks or one of the places in or around the train station. I didn't try the restaurant but I saw many people having dinner there every evening.
Overall good hotel for the price.

This newly built hotel is adjacent to the station and yet the rooms are quiet. With comfortable beds, a large shower, air conditioning and a spotlessly clean room, it offers all that you want from a reasonably priced hotel. The staff are friendly and efficient and the hotel offers a very wide range of items in its high quality breakfast buffet.

Park Inn is good to to stay

We were there just overnight. We arrived very late at night and left early in the morning. Yet, albeit we had a limited experience I can say that the rooms are well appointed, the hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly.
Regarding Parking, the hotel doesn't have. But there is a public garage about half a block away that costs 6 euros per day so is not so bad.

Likeable stay in Leuven

The Park Inn was convenient location to reach directly from the ring road (minding partial closure of one section presently), closeness to our visit destination and yet still close enough for a stroll into the town centre - only 1km down the main high street once across the railway pedestrian bridge adjacent to the hotel.
The public parking is directly below the hotel, but accessed from an adjacent road, IJzerenwegstraat. Rates were reasonable (we paid Eur 8.90 overnight).
Hotel staff were friendly and professional. Hotel room was fairly clean (odd niggle). Facilities in the room were good, nice spacious shower and the best mirror and lighting for shaving I have found in a while! The bed and pillows were comfortable. The free wi-fi was adequate as was the breakfast in the morning - no complaints there.
