I stayed one might here , staff at front desk was nice and also a plus that you have a restaurant there that you can eat . Restaurants in the hall town are closing 2:0@ PM untill 5-6 PM so you better eat lunch before 2 PM .

Decent hotel with a free parking.
Comfortable room with a mini fridge.
Two restaraunt on the spot with 10% discount. Plus few more within 5 min walking distance. Big supermarket just 10 min walk away.
Only one minus is a sound proof. The hotel stays one a main street and you can hear everything whats going on outside

The staff in this hotel is not friendly nor helpful. It was extremely hot in the room and they have no air conditioners. They only have a small fan in the room which is not enough to cool the entire room.

Close to the airport and the staff was very helpful. The room was the only one during my 12 day visit to Beligum that had a fan and refrigerator. The hotel had an excellent restaurant with excellent food. They also had a very good breakfast and would stay here again when in Brussels. Thank you.

The place is close to the airport and easy to get to by public transport. I was there in early May and it was super hot in the room. There was an air conditioning unit, but when I asked about it, I was told it was just for show and didn’t actually work. I had to keep the window open, but my room was right by a main road so there was a lot of traffic noise, even at night. Also, there’s no lift, so I had to carry my luggage up the stairs. On the bright side, the receptionists I spoke to were really nice and helpful.

Bare essentials.

Large room with pretty much nothing in it. Two uncomfortable chairs, small bed which was reasonably comfortable but really bad pillows. No tea coffee or water in room. I stood on the wet floor getting out of the then on the floor towel which left a big dirty footprint. That said the staff were all very nice and helpful and the Indian restaurant has fantastic food.

A few issues… a broken shower and room key card wouldn’t work that left a whirring noise constantly going off on the door (the latter fixed thanks to the very nice and proactive lady on reception).
Great location for where I needed to be and the bar was decent.

It was dirty, cold, had barely any food places around it. The room was freezing and there were bed bugs. The bathroom was filthy and there were stains and hairs in the bed as well as having practically no facilities, no tea, kettle ecr. It STUNK of public toilet in and outside the room and the area was extremy rough. Breakfast was quite varied but the contents were low quality, I only enjoyed the bread. The drinks were limited and not very nice either but my partner liked the tea. I will not be going again. It was disgusting.

Great for a one night stay or needing to rest up before traveling on. Wouldn’t recommend for a full stay because it’s about 20 mins from Brussels town center and surrounded by a neighborhood (no restaurants, bars, or shopping).

Really bad experience. I was put in a room on ground floor which is right next to main road. I couldnt sleep whole night as there was a lot of external noise (people talking and traffic). The hotel really needs to secure noise cancellation. Will not recommend to be in room on ground floor which is road facing

Clean but we were surprised!

The issue that there were no elevators to our floor was disconcerting.
I came home and had to find it like it was hidden. I never had to worry about elevators. It should have been listed on the first page. In caps. It was clean. Not that close to the airport. Cost 25 euros back to the airport.

Free parking in back. Very nice and accommodating staff. Located in a quiet area and within walking distance to local train stop and to several restaurants, pizzerias and local drinking establishments. The room was basic but clean and large. Less than 10 min from the airport too.

The staff at reception were warm and friendly. Our room was spotless. It was the perfect spot to stay over prior to an early morning flight the next day. We took the train from Brussels Midi Station and were able to walk to the hotel from the station. There were several choices for dinner nearby including the hotel restaurant. We opted for sushi just a few doors away. It was terrific. We caught the local bus to the airport early in the morning. Tapped our credit cards and arrived within 15 minutes. Great experience all round!

Our issues with this hotel is that our room was on the third floor and there was no elevator. We had 3 large suitcases that we struggled to get up and down the stairs. The other big issue is that the bathroom had a glass door! and so no privacy. The room was very hot and there was only a broken fan that was hard to keep upright.

We needed a quick place to sleep before taking a flight. It was a basic room. We did not use the amenities. The room was clean. The front desk gentlemen was great. Carried out bags up to the 3rd floor where our room was.

The Taormina is not the Ritz but you already know that. It's also a lot less expensive than the Ritz. I arrived late. The woman staffing the front desk could not have been more helpful. She showed me where to catch the public bus to the airport the next morning and checked the schedule for me. She gave me a plate and bowl and silverware so I could eat the dinner I had in my backpack. The room had some street noise but not too bad. There's a pizza place next door, I realized the next morning. I just needed a place for the night before my flight the next morning. I'd stay again, no question.

I found entry via Whatsapp problematic, as I’m an old technophobe, and I would have preferred a lockable wooden door to the shower room instead of a translucent glass sliding panel, but I was alone so no problem.

Warm Welcome and Pizza too!

This was one of those basic rest and eat stays with minimal expectations, so anything other than general shelter and a bag of chips is great... and as such this was a wonderful stay. I was greeted with total warmth and welcome, which was a real gift after a long drive. Wifi was great, room was fine. I went to the restaurant to have a meal and ordered a pizza. Again, nothing but friendly and the person working the front desk offered to bring it to my room (no official room service). It is the little things that make a stay special, particularly as a traveler. If my family were as welcoming, perhaps I would not be on the road so much.

After a good night sleep, I left the hotel with a sense of loss that I may never feel as cared for again. Thank you for showing me that kindness may yet exist in the world.

Friendly little place with a decent Italian

This is a small friendly place close to the airport.
The older rooms are fairly basic but reasonably comfortable and do the job. The newer rooms are nicer.

The hotel has an Italian restaurant with a proper pizza oven. Good food and friendly staff.
Since finding the place I've stayed a few times

Pricey for what it is

Staff were friendly and helpful. Decor was ok but nothing special. Comfort ok (but like stay in an IKEA show room), but the main road outside is noisy (traffic starts at 5am). No bottled water or a kettle in the room, which was rather poor considering the room cost EUR 145 per night. Breakfast was not great... a fairly wide choice of food but of low quality. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Great place for a short stay b

A great handy hotel close to Zaventem airport. I arrived by car very late/early hours and found the hotel easily with spare spaces for free parking. I had telephoned ahead to check reception would be open as a big thunderstorm had delayed me. The receptionist was very helpful and kind. Choice at breakfast was good. I have eaten in the restaurant here on a previous occasion and it was very good. All in all a good choice to stay.

Taormina is a fairly good hotel, what you see is what you get. The bed was very comfortable and their restaurant was very good. The included breakfast was also very nice. Not much to do in the area where the hotel is.

Reasonable Hotel but Overpriced

Staff in the hotel were all very helpful and friendly.
Located on a busy road but convenient for my business trip. Good car park at rear. Hotel is fairly basic. I had one of the higher specification rooms but it wasn't exactly luxurious although it was clean and comfortable. Shower only - no bath tub. Safe provided but its too small for Laptops etc. A kettle is provided but no tea / coffee etc - so a bit useless really!. Fridge is also provided but not even a bottle of water which for £160 per night not good value bearing in mind its not even a city centre location. TV has good range of channels and good Wifi. Bed was comfortable. If you like to sleep with the windows open you get road noise from about 05.00. I did not try the breakfast so cannot comment on this.
Used the restaurant - this is an Italian theme with good menu and good quality food / service.

This is a good alternative to the chain hotels, near the airport.
The rooms are fairly basic but comfortable.
The hotel has its own restaurant which serves good honest Italian food, definitely better than the other airport hotels.
I now have a preferred hotel near Brussels airport

We hebben een 2 persoonskamer gereserveerd en kregen een kamer met 4 bedden. Vloer was vies (was te zien aan onze sokken)! Badkamer was prima. Het licht in de gang gaat aan als je er loopt maar als je de kamer uit kwam moest je een stukje in het donker lopen en 2 trapje af voordat het licht aan ging, als je de trapjes niet ziet is de kans groot dat je valt dus gevaarlijk. Ontbijt was simpel, het leek er op dat het brood er al een tijdje lag want het was niet vers.

J’ai dû passer la première nuit sans douche, malgré l’avoir signalé immédiatement au personnel. Lors d’un séjour, on recherche au minimum un lit et une douche fonctionnelle. Malheureusement, même après mes relances, rien n’a été fait avant le lendemain à 11h

Côté petit-déjeuner… vraiment décevant : très peu de choix, rien de vraiment appétissant, au point que j’ai préféré aller manger à l’extérieur.

Une expérience globalement décevante qui ne correspond pas du tout au niveau de service attendu.
