The receptionist was courteous and professional. However, after 11pm I couldn't get entry to the facility due to door key not working. Just fortunate to have a guess walking in the hallway to open the back door in a very cold weather. No one can be reached after 11pm.Plan your stay accordingly

Nice little hotel and fantastic value for the Brussels area. Very friendly staff and the free parking was a bonus. No air conditioning, so a couple evenings were a bit warm. Breakfast was solid, continental plus eggs to order. Enjoyed my 7 day stay!

Hotel staff had received my booking but neglected to enter it in to their manual system so I was told the hotel is full and there's nothing they can do.
After a quarter of an hour of confusion and phonecalls they gave me a spare room which was spacious and nice.
Overall, ignoring the unpleasant check in, the hotel is quite ok for crashing in for a few hours before flight.
Considering the price range of the area, Hobbit is decent value for money.

Clean room, confusing experience to get inside
When booking they room website asked to inform if arriving later. However later check out was not possible at all. Luckily we have family living in Brussels, who were able to do the check in. When arriving to the hotel during night the door didn't work with our key, it was somehow stucked. Lucky for us there was one couple inside who were able to get the door open, after many failed attempts. Room itself was nice, clean and comfy, but getting inside the room was a mess. Breakfast was ok. I could stay again if my flight would arrive at a time when there's actually some staff at the hotel as well

Friendly check-in and front desk staff. Airport shuttle is advertised but apparently hasn't been available for some time. Close to a bus stop though. Quiet neighborhood, about a 5 minute walk to a couple of grocery stores. For car buffs, the hotel is adjacent to the Aston Martin dealer.

Even I arrived so late, around midnight, will be easy to get access to the reception and did the check in. The breakfast was lovely, plus a very helpful and fantastic staff. Will recommend.

At 4am there was nobody there, at 415 still no taxi. I tried ordering an Uber but since the hotel is in the middle of nowhere no luck. Reception closes at 11pm, so nobody could help me, and the busses don't start running till 530am.
I had to beg another guest to drive me.

Quirky hotel at affordable price
This is a small hotel. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The hotel has no aircon but the staff organised a fan for us so that we could sleep alright. The beds are really comfy and the bathroom quite big. Cleanliness could be improved, specially around the bathrooms but this didn't detract from the pleasant experiance.

Hotel reasonably priced near Brussels airport. 10 minutes drive with a gas station on the way to the rental car parking.
No lift but staff accommodating to give you a room on the first floor if you have heavy luggage and a hard time to walk.

Cheerful hobbits!
The staff is great, and they even wear shoes. We were greeted warmly, questions about the area were cheerfully answered. When we asked for some extra pillows, they were brought right away. The breakfast buffet was not as luxurious as some bigger hotels, but everything was high quality. They even make you fresh eggs!
This hotel is just a few minutes away from the airport, and is a great value. I would definitely stay here again.

Good clean room. Not too far from the airport. A little hard to find especially because of all the construction but I'm sure a GPS would have no problem. The price did not include breakfast nor free shuttle service to the airport. However parking was free. The hotel front door was locked until 3PM so couldn't check in until then. Since the door was locked, couldn't put the suitcases in the lobby either. We got there at 2PM and just stayed in the car until the door was unlocked. The hotel did have some simple evening meals available for a reasonable price. Breakfast buffet could be purchased.

Above Average, nothing spectacular, but sufficient
The hotel over all was about what was expected. By no means will it blow you away, but it is your average, run of the mill business hotel. The rooms are adequate, and the bathrooms were decent, despite only receiving one towel even though our reservation clearly specified two guests staying in the hotel. Also be mindful when booking: the reservation desk closes at 11:30pm, so if you are delayed you may not have housing. The breakfast was more than adequate and worth the price. Be mindful, however, that their is indeed a charge for breakfast, which is not specified upon check in or entrance into the breakfast area. In fact, it is stating in small print next on the menus posted just outside of the seating area. Despite all of this, the hotel excels in that it is conveniently close to the airport and boasts prices that are very reasonable for those with a little bit tighter of a budget.

Hotel ok for one night but it was necessary to use taxis from and to the airport at a cost of 35 euro. That made the cost more expensive than others located closer to the airport. The closest restaurant 1.5 mile away which i walked.

We had to be in Belgium for a World Rowing event in Hazewinkel. We chose this hotel because of it's price, distance to the highway, free parking and free WiFi (which works great).

enjoyable stay, however housekeeping twice knocked and within seconds opened the door, unable to even reply. The hotel does not provide do not disturb signs, which they clearly did. Cleanliness in certain less used areas of the room could have been better.

Nice hotel, fantastic helpful staff it just out of the way. Has no I frastructure anywhere within walking distance so is too isolated. But has a very convenient bus stop right across the road and only cost €3 to get to the airport. Was ripped off my taxi driver who charged me €30 to get there. Do not get I a cab in Brussels without getting price first. They are outright thrieves

Je mag hier geen 5 sterren verwachten, het hotel zelf geeft 3 sterren aan en dat is het ook. Het is keurig, basic en dat is het. Groot pluspunt is de beschikking over een eigen parkeerterrein en de ligging t.o.v. de snelwegen rondom Brussel.

Al hacer el check out a las 6:15 a.m, no hay nadie en recepción, puerta principal cerrada. Llamo a un timbre durante mas de 15 min y nadie aparece. Sabian que mi marido iba en silla de ruedas y al no poder salir de otra forma tuvo que tirarse al suelo y subir los 2 tramos de escaleras que hay para poder salir por la puerta que da al parking, era eso o perder el avión.

They sent us the mail about the problems with card at 10.30 in the morning when we were on our way to the airport, of course we didn't see it and couldn't answer. We don't check our mails every our, especially on the day of flying.
Well, the result was we were with little child at 9 pm after flight and without place for sleeping. Was very unpleasant situation. In my opinion it's irresponsible to do this for try don't lose money for one room. It's necessary to check all before the day of coming a guest.
We were lucky that it were other people with reservation of two rooms and they gave us one of their room when knew our situation. Thanks again to them for that!
