Came a few days for a conference in a nearby hotel that was more expensive. Exceeded my (moderate) expectations. The chain is in general quite predictable though. Train station is convenient bit quite far away. No commerce, no restaurant at reasonable distance. Walked to downtown but not a great walk.

Comfortable stay for 2 nights. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean with a good shower, hairdryer, reasonably comfortable bed, soft pillows. Buffet breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold items. The restaurant in the evenings can get busy, as there is not much else in the area. The De Lijn 272 bus stops very close to the hotel (150m) and goes to the airport (15 - 20 mins) or to Brussels Noord.

The hotel was functional but not stellar. I had anticipated a shuttle service to the airport, but instead was instructed to take a city bus. There was nothing to eat until the restaurant opened at 18:00. The room itself was fine.

The hotel is dated and near a refugee camp that is very poorly presented. The area and hotel itself were extremely loud, the corridors remained busy all night. You can hear planes taking off and cars driving along the road. We were quite far outside of the city, so we opted to get food at the hotel, by the way the restaurant is closed on weekends! So we were left with a “light” menu which was just overpriced pasta. I paid €7.50 for a water and €50 for spaghetti, and pizza. The room itself was dated and the mattress kept folding over every time we adjusted the sheet that didn’t fit. There was hair on the wall in the bathroom, and hair/ staines in the toilet. The door to the bathroom also didn’t secure, so make sure you’re comfortable with your guest if you’re not alone. After a terrible night sleep we had to be up at 4:30 am for our flight, the doors were locked and no one was at the desk to let us out. We finally found someone who was extremely rude to us, she just opened the door and went back. We had to walk up the road to catch the bus, and there is no sidewalk out the front. So my wife and I tried to go down the road in the back, however we were confronted by a man in a white Mercedes who slowed down next to us, then pulled up to block the pavement in front of us. We quickly turned around and headed back to the hotel, he followed us back to the hotel lot but wasn’t able to turn in because of a bar! We decided on the front way after that. Be careful if you stay here!!

Not easy to get to from airport as a lot of the hotels have given up their transport.
Staff were friendly and helpful though. It was clean albeit dated. 1 towel - fine as on my own, but difficult if you were a couple I guess! Bed and pillows were acceptable - had worse!

Lobby is misleadingly nice, it's trendy and refurbished. The floors where the actual rooms are located however are very disappointing, old and run-down.
There's nothing horrible about it, it's just most definitely not worth 60 EUR per night. Hotel is way over-priced for what it is, and the fact that they charge 12 EUR extra for parking (and another 12 EUR per person if you want breakfast) on top of that is just incredible.

I liked the free airport shuttle. The hotel is close to a tram station. So between the tram and the bus it's pretty easy to get downtown. We asked the lady at check-in how to get downtown and she was very helpful.

It took ages for us to be served lunch. Our order for pre-prepared meals was only taken after about 40 minutes of waiting in the snack bar. The restaurant was closed, although at the point of making the reservation there was no indication that this would be the case. Shuttle service to airport was good and place was clean.

Staff were extremely rude. I had to wait 30 mins to check in at 2am. Then in the morning got told I was in the wrong hotel for breakfast because I wasn’t on their list which was their mistake. No apologies for all the mistakes.

Overpriced for the state of quality

The hotel itself is quite OK, but the price/quality ratio is very bad. At some weeks the prices are exorbitantly high, but the hotel is quite run-down, rooms are small, the price for breakfast is not equal the quality. When you get the hotel relatively cheap, then it is OK, but for my week I paid almost 700 EUR for 5 nights, including a cheaper weekend, and the hotel is definitely not worth this price.

Its relatively convenient for Brussells airport (my only reason for staying there. I'm not sure what time the restaurant closes, but the bar and kitchen (with limited options) are open around the clock. It's worth noting that the shuttle bus does the rounds of a number of hotels, only runs every 40 minutes and with limited hours.

Very handy for the airport

I stayed in this hotel as it is close to the airport for an early morning flight. The staff were excellent throughout. The hotel is a little dated and old fashioned in parts, but my room was clean. There is absolutely nothing to do or any facilities around the location. You stay in this for one simple reason, you're flying early or late from Brussels airport...and for that reason, it's fine. Very handy free shuttle bus to and from airport too.

Staff very friendly and helped me translate transportation process for the Brussels Tramway system. Tram into Brussels as well as a large bus stop within 5-10 minute walk of hotel, with round trip into town only 4,20€. Also, if you’re looking for quick and easy food, the pizza from the bar is excellent... they said it is frozen pizza, but it was too good to be frozen! :)

Fine for the basics, check shuttle hours!

Just the basics at a good price, a good place to stay near the airport. No fridge, coffee maker, or safe in the room. The evening receptionist didn't speak French in case you care. She was very nice though and was able to lend me a device to weigh my suitcase. Important thing: the hotels.com website says the hotel has a free shuttle to and from the airport - true but it only runs in the morning and evening so plan accordingly. Cabs in Brussels are very expensive and I was lucky to find a friend to give me a last minute ride to the hotel and also downtown since there was no shuttle to take me back to the airport to get downtown from there by train. I would only book this again if i'm traveling at times that the shuttle is available.

I arrived in Brussels at 7:00 AM and needed a place to sleep for a few hours. This hotel perfectly suited my needs. I booked a room for the previous night and officially had it until noon, but I requested a late checkout and was given until 1:30 PM. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable, and cheap. And the shower felt great. The free shuttle bus to the airport wasn't running in the afternoon, so I took an Uber for 14 euros. All in all, it was money well spent for me. Much better than trying to sleep on a chair at the airport.

The bathroom was nice and roomy. The bed and pillows were comfortable. However, the room itself was very small for two people and there is a very strong smell of cleaning materials throughout the hotel, and VERY strong in the bathrooms. We had to change rooms because the ventilation system in the first room made a continuous high-pitched squeal – and the smell was the same in both, and in the hallways.

Check-in person was rude when we asked for a new room due to the squealing noise coming from the ventilation, claiming all the rooms will sound like that. (Not true, 2nd room was fine but she didn't bother to either check our room, or the new room she gave us.)

Airport shuttle doesn't run all day, only peak hours.

Hotel advertised having a restaurant but none was available.
Hotel is advertised as an airport hotel but is some distance from the airport and so requires a good airport shuttle service. The service does not arrive on schedule and although it has a large bus, it was very over crowded in both directions.
Not having a restaurant and having an inadequate shuttle means it is not adequate as an airport hotel.

Hotel looks clean and modern. Most staff is completely unwelcome with the customers. No smile, no hi, no bye! Also a beat late to come for the breakfast check inn. Also breakfast cost 15€. Machine coffee like that one in the hospitals (1€ for coffee). Menu very poor.

Well, we came to visit family, to do the city, to shop At Rue Neuve, to have coffee at Starbucks, to check out la Grand-Place and to sleep with my wife and argue with bus drivers and try out my Dutch, French and German and to spend all the waiting time at the Brussels airport filling out this silly review.

Just OK. Definitely an older hotel.

Could use some cleaning/renovation, but fit the bill for what we needed--a quick overnight stay before flying out the next morning. Parking at 12 euros was extremely steep for a suburban location with ample parking like this one; didn't appreciate that added to bill without disclosure.

Affordable hotel close to airport

Arrived in Brussels from an early arriving flight, stayed at Ibis one night to catch an early departing flight. We used the free shuttle from the airport to get to hotel and were checked into the first available clean room shortly after arriving. There isn’t much around but if you have the time public transportation is close by and you can head into the city. There’s an express supermarket (not open on Saturdays) and a regular supermarket in the general area (you can walk to both, but it’s a 15-30 mins walk depending on which one you go to). Note: the airport shuttle does not operate late morning or in the afternoon.

Disappointing room

Convenient location close to the airport, but very disappointing room. The room was small and needs renovating. There was noise in the room even when the A/C was turned off. Overall very disappointing for a hotel in this price class. The comfort level is far below that of the standard Ibis hotels. It made me wonder in what respect this hotel is better than the Ibis Budget on the other side of the parking lot.

Shuttle bus lets this hotel down!

Hotel was ok, clean and comfy but nothing special. But the shuttle bus is not as good as it sounds. We had to wait 40mins for a bus! When arriving at 11 at night, you just want to get to the hotel not wait outside for a bus!

Not much changed in 7 years

Turns out I stayed in this hotel 7 years ago and it really hasn't changed much. While the breakfast was very good at 15 Euros it was overpriced. Wasn't able to eat dinner on site as they were short staffed so the restaurant was shut down. The advertised airport shuttle only runs in the morning and evening, so you're out of luck if you arrive midday. This is definitely a budget hotel.

Close by to the airport!

We stayed overnight at this hotel and it was close to the airport AND it had an airport shuttle that brought us from the airport at night and took us back in the morning which was very helpful! There was air conditioning! which was a relief since the other places we stayed at did not even have a fan! The staff was very nice as well.

Food options at the bar: lasagne, pasta or pizza. Too bad if you are gluten sensitive.

A bit below Ibis standard

It is Ibis brand and should like like other Ibis facilities, but I have been in a few of them and can say this one is below the standard. The staff at the reception is pretty nice, but if you are entering this hotels and see stains on sofas and dirt the you start wondering what kind of standard it might be.
