Staff is great. Price was very nice too compared with other hotels downtown. The carpet in the hall was very dirty and the room’s walls and items were also dirty. No soap in the shower. The remote control worked 1/2 the time and took several tries to turn on/off or adjust channels. We also ordered king size bed but the bed came with two small blankets which was very inconvenient for a couple.

The Pentahotel was a 5 minute walk to the city bus that took us directly to and from the airport. It was convenient for our travels. The rooms are outdated, the walls are thin, and there are not a lot of options for food nearby. The bed could use more pillows. The staff were welcoming, and very helpful and even let us check in early. Overall, it was a decent stay for our layover.

I originally paid to have breakfast for the two mornings I was there, but on that first morning there wasn’t much to eat so they did refund me. The disappointment came when I just wanted a cup of coffee and they would not allow me to have a cup of coffee and there is no coffee set up in the room so I walked next-door to the Holiday Inn and got coffee and had my meals there

Our room was very dirty, the non lobby areas were very shabby with trash and gross carpet, and there were a lot of issues with the bathroom. The floor was wet when we got there, the hair dryer didn’t work, the shower was small and slanted so everything fell off the rack, etc. Since there was no phone in the hotel room I tried to go to the desk but every time there was a huge line of people checking in, so there was no way for me to get help unless I stood there in my pajamas with wet hair. The rooms were also very tiny and they only gave you one pillow per person. I would not recommend this place

Hotel was situated close to the airport paid 15€ for a taxi from the airport room was small but it did us for the 2 nights that we were there for check in was easy and quick air con worked well could do with an extra pillow and blanket in the room more hangers as there was only 2 in the room think the light switches could do with having which light does works for which light

Disgusting. Filthy. Vile! Our room smelled of sewer gas and they said there were no other rooms and that this happens now and again. Couldn’t sleep because of it. The whole place needed a significant dusting. The staff, bar and restaurant were nice though.

The hotel staff were friendly and attentive but the building is scruffy and run down. Common areas were dirty and in need of renovation with stained carpets and torn/loose wall coverings. The room was poorly equipped, not even a do not disturb sign to put on the door. The bathroom showed signs of frequent flooding, had dirty walls and loose fixtures. Aircon didn't seem to work at all and although the ground floor window would open for ventilation, this didn't help the problem of a delivery truck turning up at 5am and unloading crates of goods about 3m outside of the window. Only one pillow per person and that wasn't a comfortable choice for me. Breakfast was OK but no obvious choice of hot items, perhaps you had to ask, but that was not clear. There are several other hotels in the immediate vicinity that a probably a better choice if available,

Spend the but extra and stay literally anywhere else. To start off, we did use an Expedia deal and some Expedia points on this booking so perhaps that could explain part of our experience. The room was a disaster. In terms of cleanliness there was none - half of the towels were dirty, there was garbage along a ledge in the room from a past guest, mold all over the ceiling, dust everywhere and the toilet wasn't clean. In terms of upkeep - the bed was noticeably sagging towards the middle (think elevated feet), the hand soap was only in the shower (near the sink was a container of watered down body wash?), the TV didn't work, and the shower didn't drain. Added on top of all that the window had been left open so there were some bug friends already in the room when we entered. To be fair, we were exhausted so we did not say anything to the staff (they didn't ask about our stay either), we just wanted to get some sleep and get the heck out of there. We do have to give credit to the staff, which were very helpful and friendly at check in, and despite having low expectations for the food, we did enjoy our drinks and (overpriced) pizzas. That said, I wish I had read the reviews and spent a bit more to stay somewhere else!

It is very nice and clean. Room looked better than I expected. I think their main photo on the listing doesn't do them justice. I was expecting something bit run down and it really isn't. It's quite modern and stylish. Food options were quite limited, especially for vegetarians.

Firstly when we entered the room the room smelt of a very old aftershave and took ages to clear.
Rooms very small, glad we did not have a large suitcase.

When I arrived, the receptionists were discussing issues with rooms. They didnt understood I spoke French and were debatting on making a specific room available or not, one was pro and one was fully against. I dont know what could have been the issue with that room (had a doubt if it was the cleaning). Just happy I ended up with a different number.

I spent my first night at PentaHotel Belgium. It was a pretty nice hotel actually. Comfy beds, quiet. Rooms are smaller but has 2 twin beds. Nice bathroom. Nice decor. I was overall impressed with this hotel. Great bar, great drinks, I met and talked to many interesting people at the bar. Would stay there again.

Had some issues with this hotel, from a lack of general cleanliness and hygiene to basic maintenance. The biggest drawback however was the complete lack of soundproofing. I could hear everything from personal business in adjacent rooms to hall noise to people talking on their phones in the car park (I could even hear noise from the billiards table while in my room). Also, note that there is no shuttle service to the airport and a taxi will cost you around €22.50. All in all, not worth it.

I was super disappointed because I booked for myself, wife and my 8 year old son, there was no extra bed and he had to sleep with us. There is no extra bed in this hotel, children sleep with parents. The cleanliness also disappointed me a lot, dirty mirrors, bad smelling bathroom, dirty carpet, I do not recommend this Pentahotel Airport in Belgium.Breakfast ended things up and they didn't replenish it. I felt like I was in a 1 star hotel not 3 as they put it on the website.
