Dated and run down hotel. Very hot room with no fan, very noisy with window open. Shower was so crushed in limescale only 7 jets worked and the pressure was so high they felt like needles. The hairdryer didn't work at all. Only one socket, not near bed. On the plus side, good location and free parking.

It was an okay place. Pros: well located. It’s right next to Vilvoorde station which is quite convenient and also near the airport. In terms of quality though, the room rugs were very dirty, the room was cold with no obvious way to increase temperature and the phone did not work. The bed and blanket was fine. The bathroom did not have shampoo either. Overall, I did not have a good experience. The noise level at the property was also very high. Half of the morning, doors banging noise was happening around, the noise of dragging furniture from the surrounding was also quite loud in the room.

We chose this property due to proximity to airport and price. Being close to the airport was great because we had to be there at 4 AM. The lobby was ok, but the rest of the property is run down and smells like stale smoke in the halls. Then we didn't have hot water, which was a big disappointment. Front desk staff gave a weak apology and said he was aware and had reported it to management. No offer to try to make restitution. We needed a code to get out of the parking lot, which wasn't made clear at check in, so we had to go back in to get it so we could leave.

I've stayed at this generally friendly hotel several times for business and would be happy to return. No-nonsense but usually quiet and comfortable despite being in need of a refurb. Alarmingly, this time hotel could not find my booking (I had cancelled and rebooked straight away after a glitch) but did find me a room. There was also confusion about the bill for restaurant meals (two colleagues' meals were charged to my room despite each giving their room number) which fortunately was resolved at check-out.

Where to start. When we arrived the staff was professional. Unfortunately when we took the elevator up there was a foul smell like a dirty gym. The elevator itself was outdated and looked like it was about to fall. On our way to our room you could see the hotel needs to be fixed. Once we arrived at our room we found a dead bug plastered on the wall. Upon entering the bathroom we saw that the shower curtain was full of mold. On top of all there was a foul stench coming from the rooms carpet that was intolerable. We could not stay the night. Even though it was a non refundable rate we had to leave and get another hotel. I will never recomend this hotel.

I would to make a special reference to Myrna who works in the kitchen. She was very kind to me and attentive. She was nice enough to cook me some boiled eggs to my liking. Thank you to all staff I meet however, all very pleasant and professional.

The employees are very helpful and positive. They are a stellar team! Unfortunately, this does not make up for the state of the hotel. I was disappointed when I got to my room, to find the sink clogged, several lights in the bathroom out, and the door lock not working properly. Of course, this made me anxious as a solo female traveler. I reported this and they did take care of the issues in decent amount of time. However, there was a large dog beneath my room barking for about 30 minutes straight. I went to the front desk to tell them and they moved my room for me to a quieter one, which was much appreciated. Overall though, the carpets are caked with strange stains, the bathrooms and old and there is mold growing on the ceilings, and the doors are so heavy that they slam when they shut, and the can easily hear this from the other guests. The elevator was also out during my stay, which poses a problem if you have heavy luggage or are disabled. I would not recommend if you would like to feel clean and safe. It’s unfortunate because the service was so great.

Sorry, but this hotel need serious updating.
Room doesn’t smell very good, carpets are old, bathroom really need update, in out kids room the fan didn’t stop, toilet didn’t flash properly, last day we didn’t have a hot water, only luke warm to take shower.
When we come there, room were very cold, until you heat then up with electric radiator it took while. No fridge, no double bed ( 2 singles pushed together are not double) . No comfortable mattress.
When you leave hotel you have to put code to open bar from parking, sometimes 5-6 time until it’s open.
We wouldn’t come there any more.

The hotel is convenient for those with a car or even wanting a cheaper option but still with a quick connection to Brussels (loads of trains leaving to the city centre nearby). Staff however was underwhelming to say the least. We've interacted with 5 different staff, all in a bad mood, not polite and not giving us sufficient information (e.g. we had to go back to the hotel to get the code for the parking even though I had asked beforehand if I could park the car there). Wifi was bad, the room also smelled funny/bad and we could hear a gentlemen speaking on his phone for hours. Breakfast was ok. Ow, and the emergency exit door was locked...

The hotel is 2 stops away from Brussels Central...u need to a take a train from Vilvoordre to Brussels Central..hotel is very near to Vilvoordre station by 5 minutes walk...room is in very clean n good condition...only the breakfast is quite expensive n same menu everyday which I'm not satisfied to pay 11.50 💶 per person. Otherwise all good n there is a shop selling kebab nearby that is very nice n reasonable price called as Pitta Corner.

We really enjoyed our stay at Campanile Vilvoorde. It was perfect for travel by train to Brussels. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very powerful and hot. It is what you pay for and we weren’t disappointed. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day. Would definitely recommend.

I booked the hotel as it was close to the airport and I was arriving on a late flight into Brussels airport. On site hotels were very expensive. Breakfast buffet was ok but nothing special. About the only decent hotel in the area; however, the carpet was old and dingy, the hallways were creepy and poorly lit, and the rooms are very small. Bed was reasonably comfortable and room cleaning wasn't bad. The breakfast was good and restaurant decent for the one dinner I ate there. The location is good in that it's right next to the Vilvoorde rail station, but there is nothing else around there. Overall they really need to tear out the carpet and update the decor but it wasn't awful. Price is right. Poor wifi.
