Very good breakfast. Within walking distance to the Atomium sculpture, the Design Museum and King Badouin stadium. Very nice park for running and hiking.

The rooms are small, but I slept very well in the beds. The bathroom shower configuration is kind of strange and a bit slippery. Internet was good; I had a conference call during my stay and there were no problems.

Overall it’s a good choice if you are economizing and doing something involving the nearby amenities, like I was. But if you are doing things in other parts of the city, you probably have better choices.

We booked the hotel as it was walking distance to the football stadium, which was the reason why we booked it. The location was ideal.
The room was ok but the smell in the bathroom was terrible. Decided not to use the shower whilst we were there. The bed was very comfortable and pillows were nice and soft . You could hear other guests through the walls, so needs sound proofing. Would stay again but only if we were going to the stadium,but aware what to expect.
Did come across a couple of crawling insects similar to silverfish crawling in the main bedroom and bathroom but they soon disappeared
Biggest positive were the staff were very nice

The best thing about this hotel was the staff: Everyone I interacted with - from reception to the staff at breakfast - was really friendly and went out of their way to help. Service with a smile. Lots of choice at breakfast and the warm food was warm, which isn’t always the case for buffets! The rooms themselves are basic and tired - no coffee facilities, no iron, just one soap for hair/body. Shower itself was lovely and hot with great pressure. Overall, hugely convenient if you are visiting the ING Arena, but don’t expect luxury once you arrive in your room.

Stayed there to go to the Stade Roi Baudouin which is 20 minutes' walk away, as is the nearest Metro station. Close to the Expo and some museums. On the Flanders side of the border so signage in the area is generally in Flemish. Bus stop outside to get into town or direct to the airport. Limited menu but handy to be able to have food in mid-afternoon. Room is fine and had the unexpected bonus of a small balcony.

Fantastic stay. Really welcoming and helpful team working there and all fluent in English (my only language). Bar with 'snacks' available 24 hours was great, especially as the snacks where more like meals including Chicken Curry (delicious) and lasagne etc. The drain in my shower was very slow and did smell slightly if left for a while with the window closed and fan off, otherwise would have been full 5 stars. Everything else clean and well looked after. Would definitely use Ibis again.

Disappointed that there were No tea making facilities in the room unlike all the other Ibis hotels i have visited in the last 10 years. Not having a car meant a 20 minute walk each way to the shopping area to buy eats but on the plus side the room was very comfortable although the wooden panel floor was very cold and particularly noisy from the person upstairs who seemed to be moving furniture around for no reason. The reception staff were lovely and appreciated how cold it was outside and one evening provided me with a lovely hot cup of tea which was very much appreciated. Not so appreciative one late evening was someone trying to enter My room with their door card and actually had the cheek to knock on My door.

Good value hotel, close to Atomium / Brussels Expo

Small but perfectly good value hotel situated a few minutes walk from the Atomium / Brussels Expo. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the quality of the breakfast, although ready prepared due to the buffet being closed for COVID safety, was good. Bed was comfortable and got a good night's rest, followed by a good shower in the morning.

Heysel / Heizel Metro station to get to/from the centre of the city is about a 15 minute walk. Simply tap on the barrier with a contactless card to enter the platforms, the ticket machine is only for charging prepaid travel cards and displays conflicting information (there is a sticker on the floor by the entrance detailing the correct procedure without a pre-paid card but it's easy to miss and walk over as you head straight to the ticket machine)

It is OK. The proximity to Brussels Expo is great but the hotel needs to train its new hired people better. I had to ask three times for the in-room coffee station to be cleaned - which was merely replacing the one used cup and replenishing the tea bags etc which is regularly done as part of room cleaning.

Ideal location for a business trip at the nearby University or Expo. Comfortable bed and good breakfast but general area around the hotel is very basic and lacking many amenities. Couple of reasonable restaurants within short walking distance and the hotel has a decent bar.

Basic hotel - clean, comfortable and convenient.

The advantage of IBIS hotels is that arriving at 1am poses no problem. Helpful and friendly staff. The room was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. Being on the outskirts of Brussels the area is a bit desolate . It is close to the main routes to the centre of Brussels and to the ring road making it easily accessible by road.

Why would you want to stay in an office block

Hotel is in an office block, reception in a room on the first floor which is ok. Rooms are quite big with a kitchen, no facilities in this hotel to eat or even get a cup of coffee but there are places nearby. Good WiFi. Very average continental breakfast nothing hot.

The hotel is ideally situated for expo purposes but the surrounding area leaves a lot to be desired. There’s no convenience stores and lots of work being carried out. There are a couple of restaurants nearby and some bars and cafes about 15 minutes walk away. The hotel has a decent selection of food and beers so you don’t ‘need’ to leave it and the staff are very helpful

At first we weren't impressed by the location of the hotel but we actually enjoyed everything about our stay. We enjoyed being able to walk to the expo center and enjoyed all the food places near there near the expo which was a 5 minute walk away. It was perfect for our visit.

Friendly, helpful staff and a comfortable room made this stay OK. The neighbourhood is a bit grim and the room wasn't very clean (although the bedding was clean and fresh, but the main problem with this hotel is noise. The hotel is by a very busy road, which can be heard all night long, and all the floors (in the rooms and hallways) are wood, and there are no soft furnishings whatsoever to absorb noise, so the hotel is noisy inside as well.

The hotel staff couldn't be any nicer and accommodating. Fact is though that the location and condition of the hotel are pretty limiting. Only if you're on a budget, have your own transportation and need to be in the direct Expo area, would I recommend it.

Needed a place to stay that will give good access to the brussels ring in a quiet place for a reasonable price. The ibis was perfect, just 3 minutes and you are on the ring! The staff was helpful and breakfest was ok. I was very happy with my stay.

Let us down on baby cot

We booked a baby cot, which was supplied but was dirty and also the mattress did not fit, which is dangerous for a baby. The manager apologised and arranged for another cot from the IBIS at the airport. This was in much better condition but the mattress still was the wrong size. They agreed to refund the cost of the room, which was good.

The hotel is fine but not very well located its about a 15 minute walk to the Atomium and there is a lack of eateries nearby .On the plus side its easy to find off the Brussels ring.Its around a fifteen minute walk to the metro you can then get downtown fairly easy the receptionist gave us a map on check in which was very helpful.

What you would expect from an Ibis clean good value hotel. The only thing I would say is be careful of the following. make sure you book and CONFIRM before arriving that you have a no smoking room. Belgium still has smoking rooms and I know that a few guests suffered from this. Secondly the irons is in the main landing so in the morning a queue formed of Tshirted business men Ironing in front of everyone. Who said men can't Iron!! Hotel is great fro the exhibition centre and Atomium.

L’hôtel fait vieux. La chambre est petite, et la TV n’est pas non plus de toute fraîcheur. Pas de restaurant, mais un snack bar. Cela dépanne, mais à 130€ la nuit, cela n’est pas donné. Le petit déjeuner est horrible. Le parking est petit aussi. Bref, heureusement que le personnel est sympathique. Par contre, le logiciel de l’hôtel n’est pas souple pour anticiper le paiement !

Rent och fräscht hotell. Ingen lyx eller extra men sköna sängar och överraskande bra frukostbuffé. Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Ett plus var att man dygnet runt kunde beställa enklare rätter (visserligen fryst som värmdes på), som smakade fint. Perfekt nattmat efter en konsert!

Het inchecken ging allemaal wat onhandig. Een kopie van je rijbewijs maken zou volgens de GDPR niet meer mogen. Uiteindelijk met moeite zelf op de kopie een aantekening gemaakt om eventueel ID fraude i.v.m. een data lek te voorkomen. Personeel spreek slecht Engels en of Nederlands. Voor het uitrijden van de parkeer garage moet men weer apart naar de receptie met de vraag of de slagboom open mag. Dan kan allemaal naar mijn mening beter. Bij het inchecken wordt verwacht dat je de rekening alvast betaald. Is op zich niets mis mee maar geef dan wel een bewijs van betaling. Later om gevraagd en de collega wist uiteindelijk mij wel een bewijs van betaling af te geven.

The bar / restaurant is open late, after midnight, and offers food as well as drinks. The late-night food is limited to pre-made pizzas and pasta dishes which are heated up, but still, it's great to be able to get something to eat after a long evening out at the expo, especially since there is not much else in the immediate area.

Was uns nicht gefallen hat war das bei der Buchung stand, dass erst bei Ankunft gezahlt wird, aber als wir einchecken wollten, hatten Sie unberechtigerterweise schon von unserer Karte abgucht.
