We stayed at this hotel our last night in Rome. It was perfect! We had a view of the Pantheon & the room was large & very comfortable. The bathroom had a tub which many hotels only have a shower. It was very clean. The front desk/check in staff were very friendly & helpful & arranged our taxi for an early departure for the airport. Breakfast was included- scrambled eggs, bacon, croissants, fresh orange juice… Also, a great location. I would definitely stay there again & highly recommend.

The room was amazing, beautiful, immaculate and corner windows overlooking the Pantheon (great soundproofing too). The staff were lovely, breakfast was lovely and the location is great. But it was the small touches that made it special, chocolates on the pillow and putting our slippers out at night are just two examples.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful. Unfortunately, she was the only friendly person working there. The male desk clerks were extremely rude. The room was quiet and the breakfast was good. Breathtaking views

The experience was exhilarating, my room was upgraded. I was able to overlook the pantheon, which was breathtaking for me. I was there solo coming back from a business trip from another country so I got three days of just relaxing and sightseeing and you couldn’t find a better hotel, the staff, the breakfast, the rooftop, and dimly the most gorgeous features. I would book this every time I came.

They kept turning off the air conditioning by some master control. We would wake up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat and have to call them to turn it back on. They would barely pick up the phone when we called reception and had to call repeatedly. Also, they don’t offer any complimentary water bottles in the room or at breakfast. They told me to drink from the bathroom sink. Very rude at front desk. Oddly asked us to leave our passports with the front desk and put room keys whenever we left the hotel.

Mostly enjoyed my stay here! It’s in a convenient location, however, it was a bit noisy. Most of the time, the noise tamed down by 11-11:30. It is a very popular area due to the Pantheon so this didn’t bother us a ton. The elevators do take a while, so I’d recommend the stairs if you’re on a low enough floor. The shower in our room was a little inconvenient since the door was slightly too small for the above shower head. Staff did come and replace all towels every day so the ones we threw on the ground were always replaced. The breakfast in the morning was very good. There was always a staff member at the front desk. I also appreciated the safety measures the hotel takes considering how busy the Pantheon area is. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel.

I loved this hotel. The location is central and in the heart of Rome. I walked to the Vatican, to S Maria Maggiore, Colloseum and to the Trevi Fountain from it. Staff were extremely helpful in sending me a copy of my child's passport quickly, to secure youth entry to the Colloseum. The breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold options. Room servicing was great too. Thr truly memorable feature was the roof terrace, with almost 360 panoramic views. I'd definitely stay there again if i were to return. There's also great places to eat out, in close proximity.

Charming classy hotel but very busy area

A very nice classic hotel with charm, a friendly staff and good service. The only downside is what should be a big plus - it's right on the piazza facing the Pantheon, and the crowds of tourists are overwhelming. Obviously not the fault of the hotel, and the central location is very convenient, but the the mobs of people, at least in late June, detract and generate lots of street noise into the night.

Amazing stay: loved the fact that it is in the centre and we could simply walk to all the touristic attractions in Rome! Also the Pantheon is right in front of the hotel door, it makes you live the experience even better!!! Highly recommend this hotel since the service is excellent and the staff is so friendly!

A truly unforgettable experience at Hotel Alberto de Sonato! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and attention to detail that made the stay exceptional. The location is unbeatable, right in front of the Pantheon. offering breathtaking views and a magical atmosphere, especially in the evenings.

The rooms were elegant, well-appointed, and immaculately clean, blending modern comfort with classic Roman charm. The A/C worked perfectly, a huge plus during the warmer days. Housekeeping kept everything spotless, and the bed linens were crisp and fresh.

One of the highlights was the in-house restaurant authentic Italian cuisine with rich flavors, beautifully plated dishes, and a wine selection that perfectly complemented the meals. Dining under the glow of the Pantheon at sunset was an experience we’ll never forget.

Service throughout the hotel was impeccable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Roman history without sacrificing luxury and comfort.

The Albergo Del Senato Hotel was exceptional in every way...
The people were brilliant they were helpful, really sociable and were very attentive to our requests and our questions, that was inclusive of all the guys/girls no matter what their title or job/position.
The hotel itself was extremely comfortable, the room was quiet no mean feat given that the Pantheon and its numerous visitors is directly outside along with a big choice in surrounding restaurants.
The breakfast was plentiful, the rooftop bar available for guests only was superb for chilling out after sightseeing as the weather was glorious and the rooftop views as far as St peters basilica in one direction and Victor Emanuel in the other spectacular.
The siting of the hotel for all of Rome and the Vatican is brilliant for sight seeing.
Will definitely be going back!

This hotel had so many great things, mainly the location, amazing right in front of the Pantheon. The staff was professional, knowledgably and friendly. The room and bathroom were spacious, which is difficult to find in Italy alone in Europe. And the restaurant right next door, well let's just say I was there for three nights and had dinner there twice. If you will be staying in Rome this is definitely the hotel, you'd like to stay in.

The accommodations were excellent as was the staff. From the front desk to the cleaning staff, all were warm and friendly. Breakfast was very good too and the location is right beside the Parthenon. We will stay here again when in Roma.

this hotel is walking distance to the trevi fountain… which is amazingly convenient the rooms are comfortable the personnel efficient and accommodating.. provided breakfast witch is a great plus… the room had all the toiletries exceeded my expectations…. its close to a lot of restaurants that are to die for with authentic italian food… unlike other touristic centers in italy… and shops that are local.. theres a gelato store right next door.. and the star of the show the pantheon… two issues… depending on the room you can hear people walking on the hallways….. at night the pantheon is the house for the homeless…

We had a great 4 night stay. It was supremely close to everything we wanted to see. Blocks from the treasures of the city. Walked all over - being good good shoes. Wonderful dining and gelato options all over. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff always super helpful. Always ready to answer questions. It is extremely busy out front, but we never heard noise in our room. Would stay again for sure! Wonderful experience at this hotel.
