Loved the hotel! Diana was absolutely wonderful and pleasant throughout our stay. We initially booked a double room for the first night, and everything was fantastic including the lovely view.

The next night, we switched to the family room. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the mattress on the floor, as it wasn’t firm or comfortable. I also didn’t like being in the basement level. Next time, I’ll be sure to stick with the double room.

The Japanese themed hotel was lovely and felt luxurious from the reception to the rooms. Large bathroom, bathtub and bedroom with high ceilings. Friendly staff. Walking distance to food options and the shopping centre.

Very minimalist, ok location.

The hotel lobby smells great and the rooms were very clean and modern looking. It lacks a shelf, cabinet, or anything that provides surface to put stuff on, especially in the bathroom. I also missed a bin just for recycling containers.

This is a good hotel!

This hotel is safe. I don't know what why the bad reviews previously. Yes, the neighborhood may not be pleasant but the hotel itself is good. We are traveling with adult children so we are fine. It is a lovely hotel. We will stay here again if we come back to Brussels

The location is pretty good,there is a subway station 5mins away, nord train station is 15mins walk away.
We stayed on the 5th floor facing the main road and it was nosy at night, we needed ear plugs so avoid the rooms at the front if possible.
The room was big and comfortable and the shower was great.

The lady working the desk at check-in was very professional, kind, efficient and pleasant. The hotel was clean and had a good breakfast. The room was spacious for Brussels standards. Hotel located next to Metro, but the area is a bit challenging after hours at night.

The wet room design of the shower area is bad, and so the floor is heavily wetted and skippy afterward.

It’s okay but not amazing

We stayed at Yadoya for our trip to Tomorrowland so we weren’t expecting complete luxury as we didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel. However the room is a bit tired looking, we were given square pillows to sleep with which was terrible, the bathroom wasn’t super clean, the bathroom bin was a bit rusty, the shower was tilted towards the wall because the piping was too short so we had to stand right up against the wall to get under the water, the safe didn’t open, there was no fridge or kettle in the room to make and store drinks, the shower towels were very thin, the shower gel was cheap and came in those wall mounted holders, the door handle was falling apart, the front door at the entrance has an extra piece of metal on that kept on knocking everyone in the face so definitely a health and safety hazard. BUT the staff were very friendly, cleaned our room every day and they held our suitcases for when we had a later train home and could go out into the town for the day. I probably wouldn’t stay there again though

we waited at the reception for 15 minutes, no one was there to check in. I sent a request to the hotel, with the explanation that our child sleeps with us in the bed, I ask for a room without an extra bed for the child. no one paid attention to this and we got a room with an extra bed. The room is very dirty, dirty floor and hair everywhere including the bathroom.

At night the AC wasn’t working in my room (I called the reception 3 times and nobody gave me a solution), so I had no choice aside open the window and it was TOO NOISY so I had a terrible night of sleep.
The hotel is really nice, it has everything to provide a good experience, but mine wasn’t because I had poor sleep.

The hotel staff were awesome The hotel room was much bigger than I expected but I did notice they were stains on the carpet. I didn’t realize that it did not offer a microwave nor a refrigerator so that was a downside so if you have children I would recommend not stay there we really needed a fridge otherwise stay was OK. Plus is it’s close to most metro and tourists square.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Yadoya. The breakfast was excellent and had a good selection. My only wish, as others have said, is that they would have tea/coffee in the rooms.
The hotel is in a really good location within walking distance to many shops and restaurants, and there’s a metro stop just steps away.

Excellent Hotel for Business Travellers

Perfect for business travellers, this hotel is conveniently located, clean, spacious with nice and comfortable decor (Japanese style, a bit Zen and very calming). There is a supermarket nearby. The breakfast is good and the staff members are extremely friendly, helpful and professional, especially the team working at the reception. With the price they charge, it is a good worth of money.

The room was very hard to temperature regulate, it was like the thermostat on the wall was broken and it made for a very warm room. But the staff were incredibly helpful, quiet hotel with generous rooms, calming decor, good breakfast excellent location and overall a really good experience!
Ps: 12 is the best check out time and I think every hotel should do this

The gentleman on reception was extremely polite and helpful. He gave up a map and showed us the best route to get to were we wanted and pin pointed nice, restaurants, cafes and bars that we would find along the way. Staff always couldn’t do enough to help you!
Breakfast was always refreshed and had a good variety of tasty thing to choose from.

Quite a good room and hotel, and walkable to main areas, also nearby a metro line. However, the hotel is situated a few hundred metres into quite a shady area with people hanging around and quite a few street hookers.

First impression not so great, the hotel is located on a street full of dodgy dealings going on, from drug exchange to prostitutes. We weren't harmed by didnt feel too safe either during the night. Booked 2 rooms and politely asked to be on the same floor when booking but we ended up on 2 different floors - 1 and 5. Not a great start. The room on the 5th floor had no aircon and a fan that didnt really help the hotness of the room. Room on floor 1, had a dirty toilet and a hairdryer full of white hairs.

Positive: good location, 20 minute walk from Central and easy to get to from Eurostar Midi Brussels

The AC was broken but nobody said anything about it. Luckily i was there only one night. Hot in the room and i couldn't even open the window or the balcony door because the balcony was shared with the next apartment. Thinks can happen, right, i totally understand , but communicate that to me, don't let me find out i can't sleep when i go to bed in the middle of the night. It was pretty ugly not mentioning it. Next time be honest , it's better.

The pictures are accurate. It’s a nice hotel. But what you don’t realise, unless you know Brussels, is that you’re on a major road - and you can hear everything, all night.

The AC was also broken, so you’re stuck with a really loud and pretty ineffective floor replacement or opening a window to the nosiest street in the area.

Our room was a corner room and had floor to ceiling windows, which looks great, but the glass isn’t triple glazed so you hear everything.

Glad we only stayed one night. I’d have needed earplugs for the next one.

It is a clean, low frills hotel that met our needs perfectly. It is a 10 minute walk to the core of brussels and we were out and about most of the day. Hotel was clean and effiecitent. Rooms are basic with bed, wood floors, simple bathroom...nothing fancy or frilly but we didn’t need that. Perfect family room - had queen bed for my wife and I and two single beds for our kids. Front desk staff was helpful and we could store bags for free on our day of departure.

In general the hotel is very pleasant. Very nice breakfast buffet. Looks new. The room we stayed in was small but OK. However we were very disappointed by housekeeping and the amenities. The shower gel dispensers were empty and did not get filled our entire stay. We used the very small soap which was provided in the bathroom but even that wasn't replenished. On the first day we thought it was an oversight and we didn't bother mentioning it, but it repeated itself the following days. All said, I wouldn't rule out staying in this hotel.

Room cleaning was very late - at 4 to 5 PM. Had to refuse it a couple of times. Otherwise it is a nice no-thrills hotel in a convenient area. Very quiet in spite of being close to a busy street. The European/Japanese style breakfast is very good.

A nice enough hotel but I won’t be back. It is noisy because of the nearby main road, the square pillows are more like sofa cushions and far too big and solid for me and the breakfast was low on Western food stuffs (only fruit was oranges, a limited choice of teas, no soya milk on display, no plain water to drink etc)

Convenient hotel just on the outskirts of immediate historic centre. Room was standard size with no major frills. Near a metro station which goes direct to Gare du Midi (Euro Star). Only downside was there were a few sleazy individuals around, but they didn't bother me at all. Room was clean with modern decor. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was spotless, cleaned daily. Beds very comfortable. Very quiet in the room at night. View nothing special, a rather shabby courtyard. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Location quite good, about 15 mins walk to Grand Place, a little bit seedy with sex workers loitering at the nearby junction. Didn’t have breakfast in the hotel.
