Convenient location, next to the Metro Rogier. less than 10 min walk from Brussels NOrth Station (one station from the airport). Many restaurants in 5-10 min walk and nice area to walk around. Small and large grocery stores to get fruits, snacks and drinks are all nearby.
Only complain is the opening hour of the gym on 29th floor.
It is open at 7 am. Several people were waiting before 7 am to use the facility. It should be open at 6 or even earlier. THere is no body to physically open the door.. Simply electronic control. It should be easy to change the opening hours.

The good stuff:
Staff were friendly and the amenities were good! I really liked that there was the option to buy drinks/snacks/meals to go in the lobby area. The sauna upstairs was great, and the bar and lounge area was nice too. Bedroom and bathroom were both spacious, clean and well furnished.

Downsides:
The heating control was non-existent and we couldn’t sleep without the window open. Even with the window open, woke up covered in sweat. The noise proofing is poor too, and we could hear all of our neighbours. Mattress wasn’t great and ended up with some back pain.

Place was fine definitely not worth $400 plus a night - lobby is good and sauna on rooftop is a nice touch but place has a hostel feel and tiny cramped rooms and small bathrooms and siren’s wailing all night (I was there an entire week) I think emergency services are located next door or something
So just don’t feel it’s at all value for money

The basic room are terrible small, at least one wall dirty , impossible space between bed and the wall where Tv room is, very uncomfortable soft and sort pillows.
The business room are a bit wider, pillows the same as in basic room, some of the towels have a strange smell, old furniture, dusty and spotted, all entrance doors of the rooms look after the 2nd war.
Definetly, not a 4 stars hotel.
Reception looks like 5 stars, but ,unfortunatelly, tourists don't sleep at reception.
Never come back here if you want a real 4 stars hotel.

The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and a good size.
The Nespresso machine was a nice touch.
The bar area was very nice with areas to relax, others too watch TV as well as a pool table and shuffle board.
The bar staff were excellent while the reception staff were generally good but occasionally disinterested.
Reviews we read says that the area wasn't that safe, dinner of the nearby dude starts looked inviting at night but the main road in front of the hotel was fine and had a selection of places to eat.
During the day, it was a safe 5 minute walk to reach the shopping area and around 15-20 minutes to the grand place and other tourist areas.
The car park under the hotel was a little tricky to find at night but it was well lit inside and felt safer than many car parks we've used.
We would certainly stay here again.

The staff was courteous and the hotel lobby area is nice. My gripe with this hotel was my room. The “carpet” was dirty (I don’t believe they vacuum) and the bathroom was less than desirable due to the stains in the bathtub, chipped tile & a broken stopper.

“The hotel is spacious and well located, just a short walk from the train station. However, the facilities are in need of maintenance. The bathroom sink was blocked, and water leaked from the shower area during use. While the hotel appears stylish at first glance, key amenities are not well maintained. We also had to wait nearly 15 minutes before we could settle into the room.

Unfair hotel policy and management, I couldn’t come to the hotel for a reason not in my hand not my fault, there was air flight strike and no way to travel to reach the hotel, and they charge unfairly the whole amount and refused to give me a credit to rebook for another date.

I would recommend

Overall, I would recommend the hotel. Its location was great, right next door to the metro. Grand Place, Mannequin Pis and Bruxelles Palace and Museums are all walkable. There are also lots of shops and fast food on your doorstep.
The hotel itself has a good gym and bar area. The room had a little fridge which was great for keeping my milk and water cool.
If you don’t want your room made up each day you can hang a sign on your day and they give you a 5 euro voucher to spend in the bar/restaurant or donate to a local charity. I particularly liked this as I don’t like being disturbed by housekeeping when I’m on holiday. I gave mine to charity and had the added bonus of feeling good about myself for doing it.
The only thing I would raise is the fact that my bathroom door didn’t shut. It had no mechanism within the door to allow it to remain closed which was strange. However, I didn’t raise it with reception so they had no chance to resolve it whilst we were there.
I couldn’t be bothered to change rooms. But I’m assuming that housekeeping must have noticed before allocating us the room.
Overall a great hotel and I would stay there again.

We booked 2 rooms with double queen beds but we were provided one queen and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was not comfortable and it meant that there wasn’t even the room to stand in that room or to use the chairs.
The bathroom wc tank was leaking but they told us that it couldn’t be fixed so we just had towels put underneath.
Not good value for the money we paid for these rooms.

It was good but being a 4-star hotel, they have just ended up with two 500ml water bottles and then if we ask, they said those will be chargeable. when I have asked for Dental kit they said to come to the reception and collect.
As they are rated as 4-star hotel they could at least serve or provide water.

A great hotel which was centrally located for all the tourist sites, shopping and public transport. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We were happy with our room but the bed was a bit firm for our taste and it became really hot in the room at night. Great place to stay for a couple of nights in Brussels.

Excellent location close to train station and public transportation (tram and buses). Close to lots of restaurants and main shopping venues. Room was reasonable size but bathroom could be updated. The temperature in the room and floors is too high and even with AC, could not reach an « acceptable » temperature. There is a gym with limited equipment (and again very hot). Excellent breakfast and friendly and helpful staff.

We asked for and paid for early check in. They gave us a handicap room without telling us what room we were getting. It was in the lowest floor in front of some conference rooms and service closets.

The shower was cumbersome and disgusting. Moldy all around the shower. Shower head facing the wall impossible to aim at middle. Barely any place to put toiletries around the sink. It felt like a 1 star hotel room. Bare minimum amenities. Just gross

Service and food were very good. Good bar. Location is ok. A good 20 mins walk to anything. Better hotels in the area.

Room is clean & comfortable. Near Brussels North station, around 10 minutes walk. With luggage storage service, but I can freely enter into the room and get back my luggages under no supervision. Standard double room is a bit dark. The receptionists are rude to customers. Not willing to answer questions.

Our stay at Thon Brussels Hotel from August 17th to 19th was a huge letdown. As a pregnant guest, I was hoping for comfort but instead faced multiple issues. First, we were given a room that was already occupied. Then, we were plagued by loud noises from the radiator in second room assigned to us, which kept us up all night. We moved to a third room, which was even worse. All in a space of 2 nights, 2 nights of no sleep and with being heavily pregnant. It was so bad. The staff's response was inadequate, waking us early on the morning of our checkout. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had, far below what you would expect from a 4-star hotel.

Terrible experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were initially sent to a room that was already occupied. When we finally got a different room, we discovered that the air conditioner was broken—on the hottest day of the year. We reported it immediately, but the issue wasn't resolved that day. The following morning at 9 AM, a maintenance worker rudely banged on our door repeatedly, disturbing us after a sleepless night in the sweltering heat. To make matters worse, the air conditioner was finally repaired just two hours before we were supposed to check out. What was the point?

The hotel has 4 stars but actually is worse than 2 stars ones. Our room was so tiny that we cannot pass the trolley between the bed and the wall. The hotel is close to some hospitals so you hear the ambulance sounds all the day and night. The breakfast is in a room below the ground without windows and it is so dark that you cannot see what you are eating. The window in the room cannot be opened and you feel inside a trap. The parking below the hotel is very expensive. The only positive thing I can list is that it is close to the center and you can go by foot.

This hotel is a short walk from the Brussels north train station. We arrived late in the evening, but they appeared to be several dining options close to the property. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The kids and I enjoyed the free pool table and entertainment in the lounge. The bartender was so friendly and made delicious drinks!

The room was spacious, however we kept hearing what sounded like someone banging on pipes all night. We were on one of top floors and could hear all the traffic and sirens on the street below. There was a lot of homeless in the area. There is on site paid parking on the back side of the hotel. The hotel is in a convenient area, close to the sites

Onsite restaurant was not very good.
Our 1 bedroom suite was large and impressive.
One odd thing was they did not provide a king comforter or top sheet. Only 2 twin comforters. In addition, they did not provide was cloths. Shower and bath tub was small and challenging. overall, it is a very good hotel but not great
