Beautiful hotel, grand lobby, nice rooms, big decent size bathroom, in a convenient location.
Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the two ladies with long hair serving at the front check-in counter. Breakfast room was grand and selection fantastic.

We arrived at the hotel to a long que to be checked in, and was greated with you're room is not ready so I sat in reception with 2 kids falling alseep whilst we waited for our room, we were clearly forgotten about as i had to que again after waiting nearly an hour to get the key.

Very nice hotel,in a great location, very close to metro, tram stations. The main shopping street is 1 minute away. The Grand Place 10 min walk. I noticed a bit of wear and tear in the hotel but to me it just added to the charm. The staff was helpful. I prefer Old World charm to faceless modern style hotels. So this hotel was perfect to my taste.It was also nicely decorated to Christmas getting guests in festive mood.
One thing did not stand out: prior to my arrival I emailed hotel and asked to arrange an airport transfer. To which the staffer replied that they can arrange a luxury car for 114 euro.The next option the staffer offered is public transport. I do not need luxury car nor do I want to drag huge suitcase on the train, so I just took a taxi for 50 euro. While staying there I learned that hotel could have arranged much cheaper pick up using company Autolux.The staff actually called this service for me twice while I was in Brussels, including airport transfer for 42 euro when I was leaving. This is my only complain. Perhaps, the staffer gets a little something from this \"luxury\" transfers. Not cool. Other than that I definitely recommend this hotel!

This is the second time I have stayed at Hotel Le Plaza in 2025, February 2025 and October 2025. I have also stayed for varying periods over the last 3 years. Two of my previous referrals stayed with me in October 2025. I know I will be greeted at the front door, helped with my bags, followed by an efficient check-in at Reception, and a room will be ready. I was delighted to receive VIP treatment on arrival. On checkout, one of your reception staff helped me with my suitcase as workmen on Floor 6 had closed off the main lifts. As a thank you, I gave her my ‘Mary’ dark chocolate truffle. Then your long-standing Concierge was my rock on departure. receive VIP treatment on arrival. The long-standing hotel Concierge was my rock when I departed. My first Uber failed to arrive. I called another one, and then a storm struck. He remained very calm and stayed with me until it arrived. The highlight for me on this stay was to access your magnificent bar! I had the great pleasure of having drinks and nibbles with my friends in such a beautifully decorated room and enjoy its ambience. Merci Beaucoup Hotel Le Plaza Team!

We stayed four nights at this hotel, and the experience was excellent. Its location is ideal, just minutes from numerous shops, fine restaurants, Brussels Central metro station, and key tourist attractions. Shopping options nearby include well-known stores such as Zara, H&M, and many others at reasonable prices. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh selections—fruits, juices, breads, and proteins. The front desk staff provided attentive and courteous service throughout our stay. I can confidently recommend this hotel. If you plan to visit Brussels, remember to bring an umbrella, as it rains frequently. For added convenience, the hotel also offers umbrella rentals for 2 euros for 48 hours. Immerse yourself in the charm of this city and enjoy every moment.

This is an old, traditional and vintage hotel, surrounded by many restaurants, and cafes. It's within a walking distance from the Grand Place. The hotel room is clean, spacious and comfortable. The lobby is welcoming with a piano bar. You are offered a welcome drink of your choice. The continental breakfast has good selection of pastry and fresh fruits with large sitting area. A vehicle parking is available for a fee. The car elevator can't handle large SUVs.The staff at the reception and breakfast room are cordial and pleasant.

I have stayed at Hotel Le Plaza for varying periods over the last 3 years. I have also referred the hotel to 5 of my colleagues who now stay here. After 30 hours of travelling, I know I will be greeted at the front door, helped with my bags, followed by an efficient check-in at Reception, and a room will be ready. It's also nice to be greeted at breakfast and in the hotel foyer by various long-term staff. My only disappointment is that the beautiful bar area is not always open when I am there. It was opened on Sunday night but I was not available. I went down on Monday night and it was closed again. You can still have a drink and bar food in the main foyer, but it is a different ambience. Next time! Merci beaucoup Hotel Le Plaza Team.

Enjoyed our stay, we've previously stayed next to Grand place so we wanted to try a new area and see a different part of Brussels. Though its still walkable to Grand place. The men at the security desk seemend nice and welcoming. Reception staff were ok but I think its more of a European thing where it can be a hit or miss.
Our room was excellent and clean thanks to housekeeping.
Hotel is close to metro stations if you want to travel elsewehere but otherwise you have everything you'd need within a walkable radius.
My only negative point is room service breakfast, I usually prefer cooked foods such as eggs but you had to get continental breakfast & could do add ons, but that would have been a lot of food.
I would stay here again and recommend it.

Terrible service had to wait over an hour for room, vip access and room upgrade were not granted, asked to wait no offer to store luggage, no updates, the lobby was full of angry persons wanting to check in and rooms were not available. When you go for one day and you cant check in and it delays your plans it ruins everything.

The Hotel Le Plaza is a wonderful stately hotel with a storied World War II history and impeccable accommodations. The standard rooms are huge in comparison with what most European hotel rooms seek to provide. It was clear from day 1 of my 6 night stay that the staff take their jobs seriously and seek to provide the most comfortable stay for their patrons. When I come back to Brussels, it will include booking this hotel again. The only drawback would be some of the surrounding area, which has numerous sex-type shops. I never felt like the area was dangerous, just a wee bit seedy. That said, the hotel's location was convenient to everything I needed in central Brussels region. Highly recommend!

During our week-long stay at Hotel or Plaza Brussels for a work and leisure trip, we found both positives and negatives.

The lobby was large and inviting, with plenty of seating. However, the plastic flowers, felt outdated and tacky.

The hotel shows signs of wear and tear, with stained carpets, scratched furniture, and cracked walls. It’s clear that the hotel has seen better days and could use some renovation.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. However, there are several adult shops nearby, which might not appeal to all guests. The area felt generally safe and accessible.

Despite the worn-out appearance, the hotel was clean, and our room was spacious, providing ample space to relax and work.

The staff was eventually helpful, though service could have been more prompt. Once engaged, they were courteous and willing to assist.

While not without its charms, Hotel or Plaza Brussels would benefit from some refurbishment. The convenient location and large, clean rooms make it a decent option, but the worn condition and lackluster decor might lead us to consider other choices in the future.

I really liked the hotel but did not like the location. There was trash on the ground when we walked to dinner. There were people sleeping on the sidewalk, asking for money as we passed by. There were several erotic stores in the same block. But the staff were great and I really liked our room, very clean, well maintained.

Excellent hotel and really good value for what you get. Rooms were a good size and had lots of amenities.

So that was the good. Now for areas of improvement. Instant coffee is fine for lesser hotels, but not for this caliber of hotel. It’s a given that drinks at a hotel bar are more expensive, but they were still pricey even by nice hotel standards. Obviously not a lot of serious concerns and the issues we did have had easy workarounds. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Simply put: The best hotel in Brussels in my opinion or one of the best in my modest opinion.
Great location: walkable/dining options/5 min from the train station. Very centrally located and very safe.
Customer service: TOP NOTCH!!
The room was great with all the luxury amenities. Total worth the price.VIP treatment in this hotel.
Breakfast is really good too/The bar was awesome as well.

Got at 10am at the airport, at 3pm I saw people getting their room keys and they receptionist did not bother to let us know after waiting so many hours.

When I tried checking in 10am, the guy at reception laughed at me saying “no check out is at 12pm” very rude and not welcoming.

Housekeepers are very good and rooms are very clean but old and need renovation.

Location is great and near basically everything.

Hotel is very good, well maintained and very good location even thou at night lot of homless people sleeping in front of the hotel. Due to this the hotel closes the door at night and your have to ring a bell , when you check in for the first time after 10 PM , they should advise you this, otherwise you will find a totally locked in hotel with all front doors closed and you do not know where to enter, I spent 20 minutes walking around trying to find a door to get in, When I made this comment this to the front desk staff, their response was not vey friendly and professional - except this unwelcoming response, everything else was good !

This hotel is on another level, really gorgeous, very well located right near Brussel-Noord station and bus and subway station are down the street. Shopping is just a block away and the Grand-Place is a walkable distance. Our room was far from the elevator but it compensated by being very quiet, the amenities were by Floris and were a true highlight as was our room which was spacious and airy. The staff were also great and helpful.

Large bathroom, wish they supplied robe and slippers. Lot of construction around the hotel and surrounding areas. I think it is a major part of Brussels. Overall I give this hotel 9 out of 10

The king bed was 2 twin beds put together; you could feel the seem.
The area is central and pretty good but all dug up for construction like the rest of Brussels.

Inside it feels like a Royal reception area. Room was spacious and the robe and slippers were comfortable. There is construction on Adolf Max so getting into and out of the hotel is not pleasant but this might keep the price low. It was easy to walk to the city. I would stay here again.

Staff were excellent, Napoleon the barman went above and beyond to interact with both myself and husband. Bed was extremely comfortable, no noise from outside even though there were major roadworks going on. Lovely ambiance to the hotel, room was very spacious. Highly recommend this hotel after roadworks are complete , just a little inconvenient getting from one side of the road to another.

I am disappointed with my choice. I booked it due to the glorious reviews. Never again!

The hotel is close to Metro station, but 15 min to Grand Place and the Central Station. There are many other hotels much closer and more conveniently located to Grand Place and Central station where the majority of attractions are, and the tours to other cities depart from. The hotel itself is in a serious need of renovation and updating. Walls are cracked (I had serious concerns about structural integrity) and in a dire need of a fresh coat of painting. The furniture is old and tired-looking. The only good thing is the spacious bathroom.

The whole street in front of the hotel is currently under construction with heavy machinery, dust and noise ongoing.

The staff is rather indifferent. Actually, we've NEVER experienced such lack of hospitality! When I told them we have chosen their hotel to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary AND my husband's birthday (we arrived on my husband's birthday, they knew about it in advance, they saw his passport, and apparently it was too much of a bother to at least say \"Happy Birthday\"). They did, however, emailed us a list of upgrades we can purchase - a cheesy fake rose petals, a champagne (we came from Paris, we bought there a brand we liked), a box of chocolates (my husband is a diabetic), etc. EVERY TIME we travel to celebrate an occasion the hotels we stay at not only acknowledge but always have a nice surprise or upgrade. This hotel didn't care.
