Excellent location. Hotel was very comfortable and clean. Electronic check-in process was a challenge to me due to its nature but at the end it made the whole experience a very good one as it made the interactions friction free.

Location, lobby and comfort - super comfy beds and pillows. It was completely contactless and yet so well maintained and well stocked. Appreciated having a coffee machine which doesn’t seem to be standard with a lot of European hotels. Only thing missing was a pool, which would really elevate this place even further. We was really looking forward to this stay but unfortunately it was poor from the minute we arrived. We went to our room and somebody was already in it. Not having a reception and somebody to speak to in person made the situation much worse. We were then told we were being moved rooms but had to wait for it to be cleaned.. then 20 minutes later they said there was a problem with a drainage block in this room so they were sorting another room. By the point we were waiting for the 3rd room - it was a twin and we had booked a double!! There was nothing they could do as no other rooms available. This room also smelt so I’m guessing there was a common problem with blockages in the bathrooms. Location was good but other than that I was really disappointed. Having to wait for messages and email responses when you have an issue is frustrating and it wasted time on our first day. I would not recommended and we would not go back

It was fine for a quick trip, not recommended with children. There is no staff on premises, no cleaning supposedly because is environmental friendly. No continental breakfast included in rate which is bad taking in count how much the brand save money with it’s concept.

The App gave a machine that was broken and we he we tried to change machines and reserve another one, there was no way to do it unless you open another account and reserve another machine. Basically everything was not working correctly with the laundry facilities.
I know is not directly their fault and that there’s a separate company that manages that, but if everything in your hotel is self service, it should work smoothly.

Location was clutch — on a quiet parallel street right by Old Town, walkable to everything in 1–10 minutes. The fully digital setup can be convenient, but we only saw one staff member during check-in, and after that we found ourselves helping other guests who were struggling. All communication happens via WhatsApp, which works for some but was clearly tough for older travelers. You need to request cleaning and grab your own supplies from a coded closet — more Airbnb vibes than traditional hotel. Overall, it was okay and the location truly carried the experience, but if you’re looking for amenities, service, or human interaction, this isn’t the place.

The location of this boutique hotel is ideal for city exploration, situated just a 4-minute walk from the Brussel-Centraal station. This made navigating the city center incredibly easy.

Two containers of water were provided, though the absence of a substantial complimentary snack was noted (unless the two tiny biscuits near the coffee maker were intended as such).
The main area for improvement was the service interaction. While passing a cleaner in the morning, my greeting was unfortunately not met with a friendly or welcoming response.
Overall, a very good stay defined by its excellent location and comfortable accommodations.

Very small room with a very large TV on the wall. I kept bumping my head and/or shoulder into it. A smaller TV or higher mounting position would have helped. My other issue is that there are a set of outer doors that must open in order to reach the lobby door where a code can be entered. The doors didn't open for me in the evening so I had to wait for someone to leave before I could access the keypad. Fairly minor issues overall as the hotel is clean, well-equipped and in a great location!

Our stay at Numa Brussels Royal Galleries was refreshing. The communication with the what’s app team & Federica was outstanding! Room was a bit chilly and we couldn’t figure out the heating so we turn the a/c off and slept fine. We booked the standard room, it was pretty snug (NOT tight) but we knew this going into it. Numas properties pay great attention to detail, this location specifically was extremely walkable to everything from restaurants to the train station and sights. We felt like locals by the end of our stay! We only called a uber for pickup from the airport (which took about 30-40mins) & when we departed (came very quickly). Both times the uber had no trouble locating Numa and neither did we. Download the app for a seamless stay! Thank you Numa Brussels team. We enjoyed this stay.

Unfortunately we did not have a great experience because our room had a terrible smell and the carpet was very dirty. We requested to be moved to another unit, they replied via WhatsApp and we were sent to another room, then we had to wait outside of the room for about an hour with our luggage because the code to enter was not working. Our friends had the same issue with their room. The codes are a mess and customer service in WhatsApp is not the best one. They need to update the property and improve the code’s system. BTW, the Numa in Prague is really good!

It’s a perfect location to the train station. Plus anything you want to do in the city. Cafe in the foyer is excellent. I’ll stay there again when I return.

Digital hotel is the way forward
I was initially apprehensive about staying at the hotel as its fully digital with no reception or key.
However, i was extremely happy with the hotel and whole process. I was kept fully informed leading up to check in and had 24/7 in case of issues, which wasnt needed.
The hotel is in excellent location close to all major sights and train station.
Only thing that was a little disappointing was the breakfast as not much choice. However i would certainly recommend the hotel and stay again.

The online checkin was tedious process. They should mention all the requirements upfront. It was a chore. In my room, my bed was sloping at the edges and I almost fell off the bed. I had to make sure I was sleeping inbetween. Glad it was just me and not sharing my double bed. The room had a light mouldy smell to it, didn’t seemed to have been aired enough. No facial tissues when I suddenly woke up with congestion due to the odd smell. Location wise was good. Locker for free post checkout for a self serve hotel was good.

Nice hotel and very good location. I cannot completely get used to the idea of no reception or other staff. Maybe it works economically but a friendly welcome should not be underrated. Instead, the guest gets a series of text messages throughout the stay. That is why I zapped a star.

I checked in around midnight and the AC in my room was blowing hot air even after leaving it on for more than 30 min. I had to contact the staff on whatsapp as they are remote and requested for another room and after a lot of back and forth they assigned another one. Fortunately the staff was prompt in answering questions.
Next day, I realized I left my Airpods in the previous room and asked the staff if they had seen them as the room was already cleaned. They replied saying they didn't find it but the Airpods location still indicated that they were inside the hotel. So I found some staff members in the lobby and fortunately I was able to recover them. It turns out one of the cleaning people had stolen the Airpods and kept it in their personal closet.

Sadly the room was incredibly hot with no means to cool it down. There was a fan system but this circulated very muggy, dense air and was not air conditioned. We could not sleep properly due to this and hated chilling in our room - it was a sauna. Having a young baby with us made this a very unpleasant and uncomfortable stay. Our mattress was also on the soft side and offered limited support. if you book the hotel, contact them and ensure you get a ventilated, cooler room. Apart from this, it would have been great. Sadly we weren't so luck this time around

Room did not have an external window, only a window which overlooked the main hotel lobby and elevators which was odd. The room was far too hot, you couldn’t control the temperature and also the drains smelled awful. So much so that we could not leave the bathroom door open. It was disgusting. I don’t like to spend my vacations complaining and changing rooms so I didn’t. Really disappointing stay but the main lobby was lovely as were the staff. They need to sort the basics out, I’ve subsequently read other reviews reporting the same issues.
