The front desk clerks were nice to unfriendly. Poor communications about breakfasts, one French lady was not friendly when i explained i cannot hear. She would not communicate in writing so she was jerk. Three other hotel staff were friendly, cordial and helpful. Breakfast was good first 2 days then reduced to simple breakfasts for same amount of $$$.
There needs to have better instructions in a room regarding different information about trash situation. The housecleaning staff were upset that I was helpful leaving the trash outside in hallway. I was not aware i had to do. Overall, the stay was very good!
All staff need training how to adjust accessibility for non French speakers and captioning for people with hearing loss to read in captioning. They did not know how to help until one staff on 2nd day helped setting it up because others did not know to use accessibility features in TV!

The room is great, toilet separated from bath. The only thing is too noisy as the hotel right in front of the Square, so many drunk or people talking and shouting after mid-night. We need to closed all window but the room become stuffy. We stayed there for 5 days, the same breakfast for 5 days and very limited items too. We are still ok, cos wanna fill the stomach then go for our sightseeing. I still gave 5 star as the hotel location is super good. 1 min away from metro, tram and buses. Food, restaurant and super market around the corner. Walking distance to all place of interest. A must stay hotel in Brussels

This was one of the better hotel that our party stayed at during our European trip. The kitchen was fully equipped for meal prepping and the sofa bed itself had 2 individual mattresses that were could be separated into 2 single beds (no single mattress that sagged in the middle). The windows opened into an indoor mall but were soundproof when closed.
The elevator did break down twice during our 3 night stay, which was rather inconvenient. We were told to use the sole service elevator which wasn't too bad but depending on the time might be overcrowded as it was rather small and both guests and staff were using.it.

We had the worst experience ever at this hotel. No hot water, repeated promises to resolve. Trapsing to an alternative room, once they'd finally investigated, which lost us a full morning with friends. And then the audacity to offer no refund whatsoever apparently because it was a non cancellable booking. Needless to say Hotels.com tried their best for us but Adagio will not budge, so going forward we will never use this chain again. A lesson learnt.

The same happened at a train station, and I'm in a different city now and listening to similar protests outside my hotel window. Something you may come across in your travels these days and maybe a reason to ask for a room away from the street. Too bad they don't realize that annoying people and interfering with their vacation or work does NOT help their cause; quite the opposite.
Also, on one side of the hotel, there is construction of a massive building going on, so you may encounter some of that noise starting at 8 a.m. weekdays.
The hotel has a tram stop right by its front door which is helpful, but if I were to return to Brussels, I'd probably try to find a place closer to the train station for greater convenience.
The room was very comfortable and I would still recommend it since the noise I encountered was varied and unpredictable.

Super centrally located! In the middle of everything!! You can walk to the Grand Place square. Lots of shops nearby. Train station nearby. Homeless people outside but we felt fairly safe to walk around. Key scan to get into the hotel.

I have stayed in the number of Aparthotels and usually, I am pleasantly surprised at how clean, bright and beautifully designed they are. Unfortunately, this Aparthotel is dirty, dingy and in an extremely filthy and unsafe corner in the center city. The unit was brown on brown which was oppressive and outdated. The “gym” had two machines in a tiny windowless room. I paid the same for this hotel as I have for other much nicer places.

We did tours and daily trips and the meet up locations were 5-10 minutes away (walk) so no rush getting to your spot or needing to take additional public transportation.
If you do need to take the tram or metro, you are also extremely close.
We thoroughly enjoyed Brussels and Belgium as a whole. We would recommend staying here!

It’s in a really great location, within walking distance of Grand Place and Manneken Pis. There are restaurants and fast food stores all around and is situate opposite a grocery, which is very convenient. It can be a bit crowded and noisy outside the hotel but we did not hear it from our room. We enjoyed our stay.

Must admit, I was a bit disappointed by this hotel. It's not that it was a bad place but it was the most expensive on our trip and didn't live up to my hopes / expectations. Conveniently located in pedestrian area, staff were nice, especially the young man at breakfast who was really helpful. Very dark room, both in decor and inadequate lighting. The beds were comfy but one bedside light not working. Radiator in bathroom had thick dust/fluff on the wiring and there were splash marks down the wall in the loo. Floor in bedroom could have benefitted from a deep clean to lift it a bit. Kitchenette was pretty good but microwave at head height could prove challenging for smaller people. There was a coffee machine but only one pod of coffee and one of decaff for 2 people. Further supplies were available to buy...

Breakfast had a lot on offer though but one staff member trying to keep up with clearing etc who was doing his best to keep on top of it while also fixing the waffle maker and making fresh pancakes (they were yummy, thanks)

The hotel itself was very nice. The rooms were large, had lots of storage, and were clean. They have a kitchenette available for those who wish to cook. The location is convenient to bars, restaurants, the Main square (Grand Place) with all the tourist related stores, and the train station. The main drawback is that the subway entrance, which is next door to the hotel, draws a large population of mentally ill and homeless people. If I were a female traveling alone I would not feel safe leaving the hotel. I saw homeless men bothering solo females on a daily basis with no police presence to stop it. Once you enter the confines of the hotel this problem disappears.
Note: although I did not use it there is a gym on the property for those who would be staying longer periods.

Been charged twice for the same stay
My stay was prepaid, I only needed to pay the city tax on arrival. Checking my credit card transactions afterwards, I discovered that my credit card was charged for a second time by the hotel, which means I paid twice for the same (and my only) stay at this hotel... There was a time I refused to give my credit card details at check-in after my credit card was most probably copied at a hotel in Spain, I need to return to this policy.

Stayed 8 nights. The hotel is located right next to De Brockeure subwaybstation with easy connections to the other lines. Carrefour Express right across the hotel. Another 3 supermarkets in the area all within 3 to 5 mins walk. The main Brussels Christmas Market was just a 3 minute walk. Grand Palace was a 5 min walk. Overall an excellent location. We booked a one bedroom apt, with small kitchenette. A comfortable stay overall. Highly recommended.

Breakfast is available through late morning and is very wholesome. This Ibis hotel is within short walks to supermarket and a pharmacy. The neighborhood does not offer much in terms if entertainment or attraction, but feels lived in, family-oriented, has a lot of suburban charm, and decorates itself for the holidays. As it happened, the hotel elevator was out of order on the day we came to stay, but the staff enthusiastically helped with hauling our heavy suitcases upstairs (and downstairs the next morning for checkout.) Free arrival shuttle is available on request. Great value overall!

We liked the hotel/ apartment combo…the staff was excellent and very friendly. We liked the area because you are in the center of everything and everything is within walking distance. Public parking was 5 minute walk from the hotel. We had great views and in our stay in Europe this apartment/hotel complex was our best choice. I’m glad we chose to go to Brussels, Belgium and stay at this complex.
