Luxurious and classic downtown hotel near Grand Place i Brussels. Visited Brussels for business and really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was spacious, with a large classic bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. I also enjoyed the breakfast which was a perfect start of the day.

When I arrived (very early in the morning) the guy at the front desk said I could not wait in the lobby until check-in. Even though he knew I was staying two days at the hotel.
Then he said he would let me check in at 10 and ask for €100. I said could I have a receipt he said no.
He also offered to let me check in at one (usual check-in is at two) for €50.
Before I arrived in Brussels, the woman at Hilton on the phone said that if they had space and the room was available, they would allow me to check in early. The guy at the desk, however, said they had the room but had a strict policy.

When I was checking out, I did not receive a receipt because I was told I had booked it on Expedia. However, when I got home, I confirmed that I had not paid by Expedia and so I wrote to the Hotel to ask for my receipt. Then I wrote again. In my third try, I finally said that the charge was on my credit card and if I did not receive a response from the hotel after three days and three tries, I would tell the Credit Card to null the cost because there is no receipt to prove it and they could deal with a credit card

All in all service fitting a two star hotel

Our experience at this property was deeply frustrating due to overbooking and a lack of accountability. We chose this hotel specifically for its proximity to Grand Place and the train station for a short one-night stay.

After checking in early and being told our room would be ready later, we returned at 10:00 PM to find we had no room. Management claimed a "leak," though it became clear the hotel was simply oversold, as multiple other families were in the lobby facing similar issues.

The "recovery" offered was unacceptable:

Downgrade: We were initially offered a lower-class hotel 20 minutes away, defeating the purpose of our booking.

Safety & Transport: Despite it being late, raining, and us being two women with luggage, they expected us to take a train and walk to the new location. We had to insist they provide a taxi, which should have been offered immediately.

Lack of Courtesy: After the significant displacement, they refused to include breakfast at the new hotel as a gesture of goodwill—even after the receiving hotel’s staff called them to suggest it.

It was clear the staff’s priority was room logistics rather than guest safety or experience. If you value reliability and professional service, I would recommend booking elsewhere.

My knees were injured so I asked the hotel to send some help to move my large suitcase to the door and got a “no, we don’t offer bell boy service” I was shocked to hear that. The manager said all Hiltons operate that way. I couldn’t believe it.

The room was spacious, however really, really loud (which in itself is not the fault of the hotel, but I couldn't imagine how loud it would have been if we were on the 1st floor opposed to the 4th). There are no really amenities besides wifi. We did not eat in the restaurant or bar because there are a ton of better options within walking distance at a fraction of the price. The bed was really uncomfortable with large indents in the mattress from use. The room was ok, but not really clean as you could see built up dust, dirt, and debris in the corners and running along the wall. The amount of dust on the headboard was crazy. However, the hotel is in a great location to travel on the train, metro, catch a cab or walk.

Excellent location but during the night the surrounding area was very noisy, people sang with microphone and loudspeakers until 12am. The room is very old, like some kind of hotel rooms we saw back in the 1990s. Furnishing is bad with no drinking water provided to the guests. It’s mostly the hotel’s problem but also the general condition of Brussels. Dirty and unsafe.

An outdated hotel situated in the city center, offering a good location. The hotel does not have a pool—an obsolete room with an uninspiring bathroom. There is no large and comfortable vanity area. Generally, our expectation was for a larger, more beautiful, and newer room. The cleanliness of the room is not that great, and the staff does not go out of their way to provide service.

Our two twins bedroom was very dark, not enough lights, closet making noises everytime we used it, AC thermometer didn’t work (turn to 30C degree and still not warm), 2 usb outlets near bed didn’t work.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, except for a couple of problems… Mainly, we could not get any Internet, even though we are Hilton honors members. We could get it in the lobby, but not in our room.

The breakfast option was expensive and limited.

The coffee in the room was terrible.

But everything was clean and the bed was fine. Nothing to complain about there.

The location was fine, we just walked through a tunnel to get to the grand Plaza. But the person at the desk was not very nice about explaining how to get there. Maybe it was the end of the day for him and he was tired. Not sure. But not very nice.

The digital concierge’s was not good. We won a real person.

Room was good, however for the price I paid I did expect a lot more. To start, there was hug problems with the hot water in the shower being cold at peak times which I’ve personally never experienced in a hotel before, definitely not something I would’ve expected in such an expensive hotel. Next I was a little taken back after what I spent on my stay and the water in the room which was 2 tiny little bottles of water were available for 4€ each which is incredibly ridiculous, figured after spending an arm and a leg on my stay something like a shot of water and decent coffee would be complimentary. Also, for €24 per person for breakfast it 100% was not worth the price. We went there 20 minutes after breakfast started and EVERYTHING was freezing cold…. Eggs, bacon, sausages, hashbrowns, literally all of it was cold and probably not food safe at that point, also the lady that greeted us for breakfast was upset with us that we didn’t know how to speak French claiming that it is a French speaking country even though every other place we’ve been to in Belgium spoke Flemish and English….. so to sum it up, with the huge prices asking for a stay here, things are not worth the cost. Take your money and spend it elsewhere

Correct and an ideally location

The hotel is very clean, just a little dated and in need of a little sprucing up. The minibar in the room is empty and the mini-bottle of water in the room costs €4, whereas many hotels of this level offer one bottle per person per day. Breakfast is excellent, but you have to get there before 9 a.m. at the latest, otherwise there's a queue and something will be missing.
The hotel is ideally located 2 stops from the airport by train and 2' from the Grand Place.

This hotel is quite dated and is in need of maintenance. Housekeeping is very inefficient. Our room was not cleaned the first day! We asked the housekeeper on our floor to tend to it; but it wasn’t done. We had to call the front desk and ask for toilet paper and towels. On the plus side, the hotel is very conveniently located and food in the Oats cafe is excellent. The best was Afternoon Tea in Sentos Restaurant on the National holiday. The food, service and entertainment were perfect. Qudos to Fahty and her staff for making this a very memorable experience!

A good hotel in a great location. We’ve stayed here several times over the last 5 years and the general facilities are good. The room we stayed in was starting to be a little tired and some of the blinds on the windows wouldn’t work / close. I asked at reception twice for this to be looked at but during our 4 night stay, they weren’t fixed which was disappointing.

This hotel has its pros and cons. So, let's get to it.

Pros...
-- Great location in the heart of Brussels
-- Friendly staff
-- Clean hotel -- good housekeeping

Cons...
-- There is parking available in the adjacent public garage. However, you will be charged about $31/night. Also, it is difficult to get to and you will have to drag your suitcases quite a ways.
-- There is only one restaurant in the hotel. The restaurant has high prices and a limited menu. Furthermore, it isn't always open during business hours.
-- I tried for four days to call room service but I never could get anybody to pick up. Even after calling the front desk, I could not get room service.
-- The bathroom only has one electrical outlet.
-- My side of the bed did not have any electrical outlets meaning that I could not charge my phone while sleeping.
-- There is no overhead lighting in the room.
-- My room looked out over the street and you hear every noise from the street at all hours of the night -- even routine conversations. Also, what is it about Brussels where you hear a siren every five minutes or so?

With a little effort, this hotel could be so much better.

Good but not great.

It was a fine place. good location. I wrote very clearly that my mother was in a wheel chair since she suffers from Parkinson’s and they gave us a room that was hard for her to get around. When asked about this they said there were no other rooms available but when I spoke to house keeping they showed me a room that was also a junior suite that would have been exponentially better for my mom to get around and was available/not booked. One top of that three of the blinds were broken and they did not fix it after was asked. My father was woken up at 5 am because of the sun shining through. I think they did their best and the workers were nice enough but you could get the sense that they did not want to deal with us. In the future I would choose another place.

Check in clerk was rude and unfriendly. We arrived early. She said our room was ready but we could not check in until 3 pm unless we wanted to pay an extra 50 euros. Shame on Hilton. The room is just sitting there! You just lost my loyalty. That is a ridiculous policy.

We were on our last leg of a Girls European Trip. The hote is vwry central and safe; within walking distance to many shops, street vendors and restaurants. Sraff were friendly and room was big with 1.5 bathrooms. Water pressure was great and hot water was thw hottwst we had in Europe. The decor in thw reception area is beautiful
