My stay was amazing! Although the rooms were a bit tiny ot was very clean. The amenities were adequate but a refrigerator would have been perfect. The staff was warm and inviting. Two staff members stood out. The first person we met was Shiobhon who was warm, welcoming and inviting. Felt like she was an old friend. Mirza in the dinning room with his great big, welcoming smile went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had all we needed, including Coffee Creamer. I will definitely return! I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were great; especially appreciated Siobhan at the front desk. We ended up having to extend our stay an extra night and it went very smoothly.

I had reserved a garden view room and didn't receive that so was a little disappointed.

Great stay. Highly recommended. Turned up early and was allowed to check in to my room to freshen-up after a long journey before heading out to meet friends for brunch. Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed in a single room facing Southampton Row. A bit noisy during the day (there was a protest on though!), but not too bad at night. I always take earplugs with me when I stay at Hotels, so this wasn’t an issue for me. The room was nice and clean, and surprisingly spacious for London! The bed was very comfortable and I had a really good night’s sleep. The location is great too and was able to walk everywhere I needed to go. Will definitely return. Thank you.

The hotel has clearly undergone some extensive renovation work in the past few years and as a result, the interior of the building, particularly the lobby and restaurant areas, were very clean and modern.

The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout.

The location was extremely convenient for central London.

Unfortunately, I had booked a single room which came with a conjoining door which connected to the next room. Some attempt had been made to seal this doorway, however all they had used was a single board of thin wood to separate the rooms, which offered absolutely no soundproofing. When my neighbour came back to their room, I could hear every word they said as if they were sitting next to my bed and as I tried to sleep, I could hear them loudly scrolling through TikTok until the early hours of the morning. This was not ideal as I had a very early start the next day and this greatly impacted on the quality of my sleep.

Additionally, there was no cold water coming from any of the taps in the bathroom – only hot and extremely hot. Although this meant I able to take a shower in the morning, there was unfortunately no cold drinking water available during my stay.

I had a wonderful 3 night stay at Bedford Hotel. The staff were very welcoming, helpful, and happy. As a solo traveler, I booked a single room and was assigned room 101 upon arrival. The room was ready when I arrived at 9am which I greatly appreciated!! It was small but exactly as pictured on Hotels.com, so there were no surprises. My only complaint is that the walls were thin enough to hear conversations in the hallway and the room next door. Didn’t bother me as I packed my ear plugs! Overall a very good stay.

Complete noise fest from start to finish…paper thin walls and fellow guests with a distinct lack of regard for others not to mention noise pollution from the main road and the quintessential cast iron man hole cover clunking all night every time a vehicle went over it…avoid like the plague…

Incredibly small, dorm room-like rooms. Could barely fit our luggage and for 2 people it was not a comfortable size. Shower was terrible due to water temperature being inconsistent and temperamental. Breakfast was ok - not a ton of options and pretty basic. Staff were all very nice and hospitable. Great location, but would not stay there again.

Absolutely loved this hotel. It's so close to so many things! It felt like we were off the beaten path but within a half an hour's walk of any major attraction. Easy access to Metro. Lots of convenience stores, restaurants and shops right out the front door. Not to mention the British museum just a block away.
The room was clean efficient and had a good view of the garden which I liked. Ken, along with all the reception staff were outstanding. They were always willing to help with anything we needed and greeted us when we came in and when we left the property for our daily adventure. They were so professional and polite. I hate to say it but I just wasn't used to that level of service ...and I've been to all the MGM properties in Las Vegas including Bellagio, NoMad, Cosmo, etc. These guys are great!

- Room was large & quiet with big windows and a view of the courtyard and surrounding area
- Huge, Full English Breakfast was included in our room rate - great way to start the day!
- Very friendly staff!

Cons:

- Water pressure was weak in the shower and was hard to find a temperature \"sweet spot\"
- Very little storage space in the bathroom for toiletries
- Perhaps a bit pricey
- No fridge in room

Would I stay again? Definitely!

The major positive of my stay was the quality of service provided by Ruby, who was on the front desk in the evenings during my 3 day stay. She was efficient, professional, calm and incredibly impressive and I will remember my stay at The Bedford Hotel primarily for the effort she made to make my stay a pleasant experience. The rooms were ok, it’s hard to find a decent sized room in London with 2 beds, but the size was adequate. There is no temperature control, so the room became very stuffy and hot, had to leave the windows open all the time, which wasn’t the best idea because we were on the first floor. We could hear every single noise from the ground level, hallway, outside. At least the water pressure from shower was decent.didn’t understand why the toilet was in one room and the sink was in another.

I stayed as a solo female traveler in a twin room. It was perfect for the four nights I was there. I could easily and safely walk to West End Theatres, parks, Covent Garden, and use the tubes. The area has shops and people are out in the evening so I always felt safe walking home from shows on my own. I would definitely recommend if it’s near where you want to be in London.

Perfect for what I needed. Centrally located, clean and safe. The front desk staff was attentive and very courteous. They called cabs for me when needed and even kept checking outside for me, in very cold weather, when the cab took longer than expected to arrive. My only quibble is that the water temperature was nearly impossible to regulate in the shower. I spent more time adjusting the knobs than actually showering!
