So check in went fine. We walked from the Brussels Midi train station. Not a long walk but not easily accessible with luggage due to construction. We received room 111. It was a private room which i had booked. We went up the stairs to the room and I opened the door and went to move in to hold the door for my friend with the suitcase. Immediately inside the door was a flight of stairs that i promptly fell down. I landed on my hip and hit my head on the step going up to the bathroom. My friend screamed, and with staff right down the stairs, no one came to check on the commotion. Thankfully nothing seems to be broken but my head was bleeding. My friend went to ask the staff why there was no warning, and they thought she was saying i fell down the stairs to the room. The front desk clerk finally came up with a first aid kit, and stated she didnt know the room had stairs as she had never seen the room. There is no air circulation in the room unless you open the window which is really a door to another staircase. You could not leave it open as there was traffic up and down it all night. Beware if you get room 111

Easy check in, kind people at the desk. No lift so had to climb 4 floors with luggage but not impossible. Good value for money. Good place to sleep , beds comfortable and clean. Towels provided. Nice toilet and shower, clean and soap provided. No air con. Loud area on the streets a lot of men just lurking about so a bit on edge especially if travelling solo. But overall happy that we stayed here. Close to station and city center. No proper kitchen but free tea and kettle downstairs .

Room was tiny and had to climb over the bed to hang up a jacket.

Ended up having to move after a night, could be okay for a night. But wasn’t for us.

expedia incorrectly had check in listed at 2:30pm when it was actually scheduled for 3pm. they did not have the room ready for check in at 3pm they kept us waiting until 3:35pm. very disappointing check in experience. there was an awkward step up to get into the washroom and there was a broken sill in the washrrom. other than that the room was quite new with a good view of the street.

The manager was so rude from the beginning when they ask me for mi ID. The room looks nice but then when you start to move stuff or use something you can notice is dirty and they have bed bugs everywhere

Our family of four stayed one night in this very basic accommodation. Towels only available at extra cost and luggage has to be carried up and down steep, narrow stairs. Not a huge deal for us but could be difficult for some. The room was clean but we needed the windows open for ventilation and cooling. The street outside is extremely noisy with traffic, emergency vehicles and patrons of nearby street patios, making it quite challenging to sleep well. Least favourite accommodation of our three-week trip,

Great except phone attack

Would be 5 stars except my phone was attacked 4 times over the network. Each attack required a hard reset to unlock the phone again. This is a network issue with their network. Stay in airplane mode while at the hostel. If the attack had succeeded I would have lost my phone and bank accounts.

Awkward room access

On this occasion (the second of two stays in ten days), we were allocated a room at the top of the first flight of stairs. It might best be described as awkward, at worst a death trap. There were two steps down into the room immediately upon opening the door, and could easily have fallen while finding the light switch.

Very unsafe area crowds of people hanging around outside hostel @ 3am. No locks in room at all despite having a door leading onto street with no lock. Would not return! Stayed in hostel for 1 and a half hours before needing to leave as could not live in these conditions. Only good point was receptionist was lovely.

So bad I didn’t stay for longer than 12 hours and had booked 2 nights Steep stairs and no lift. Reception is in different part of building to accommodation. So have to leave reception and go out of building and around corner. No lift. No hot water in bathroom and no toilet paper. Loud music playing in room all night, loud people screaming outside door all night. Bad smell that lingers. Not recommended.

It's definitely in a sketchy feeling part of town. The door to the fire escape in our room was not secure - it would lock, but if you shook the door, it came open. There were people outside that weren't working and were just lingering. Lots of steps and narrow staircase. You have to go outside after you check in to get to the door to go up to your room. The shower doesn't have a door and the water got literally everywhere and with no towels, that was not ideal. The bedspreads were yellowed (you know how down or pillows get yellow as they're laundered or used/old). Definitely would not stay there again.

NO ELEVATOR. Imagine carrying a 20kg suitcase up 4 floors. No airconditioning either, so enjoy the hot urban summer drenched in sweat in the middle of the night with 5 other sweating strangers in the same room.

Close walking distance to Brussels South

Booked this hostel as it was close distance to Brussels South train station. My hostel room faced the streeet and it was quite loud outside late into the night. There are bars/resturants that attract a lot of people and noise.

The staff was kind enough at check in and held our luggage for us during check out. The hotel fit all of our needs.

I would say that the hostel has very steep and narrow stairs. Difficult to manouver up to/from the 4th floor where we stayed, especially with luggage and kids.

You get what you pay for. It’s a 2 star hostel so nothing fancy. We had a private room, but there were issues with a strong sewage/drain smell in the bathroom. The windows don’t seal properly, so every now and then you’ll feel a slight breeze through the room. The beds were actually quite comfortable. Fine for one night, but probably wouldn’t want to stay any longer.

Hostel had an unpleasant smell as we entered, however the room was satisfactory and the bathroom was quite modern. Staff were helpful, we didn’t interact with them except at check in and check out as that building is separate to the hostel itself however no issues there.
We used this hostel for an over night stay and that was all we would have stayed. The bedding looked very old and worn and some beds had hairs on it.
The location was ok for travelling perhaps, a 20 minute walk into the centre however there was also a metro close by. Wouldn’t say appropriate for females travelling solo or in small groups as it was a very intimidating /dodgy area to be walking around in especially at night.
We found it fine for one night but would reconsider staying elsewhere if we visited Brusses again as the location was off-putting for us.

Not bad for booking the sams day

Main complaint would be the lack of knowing we would be climbing and descending 4 floors in a spiral staircase (81 steps) withiut being informed. There is no elevator available. Upon arrival to the room, it was hot; no AC or fan available. The bathroom is nice, and the staff at the front desk were nice. Glad we at least got a private room out of the deal.

Totally disappointed

Room has no towels, I had to pay €2,00 per towel. Room located at the 4 floor has difficult access to carry the bags up (no lift) and there was no phone to contact the reception, I had very noisy neighbors until 5 in the morning and there was nothing I could do! Toilet doesn’t drain. Hotel public areas are filthy and smelly with cats walking calmly over the reception desk!

Hostel located near the center of Brussels and Gare du Midi. Our room was quite small, but if you are just planning to go to sleep it is ok. There are plenty of places nearby to have dinner, even if it's late (some kebab restaurants were open after midnight).

Very cheap and did the job if you just need a place to sleep before going to the station which is just 10min away.
The duvet cover I had was not clean. There were hairs from the previous occupants so this was pretty much the worse you could expect. I ended up sleeping without the duvet cover.

Great hostel- Poor neighborhood

Great modern hostel with polite staff. The crowd is a bit strange and it is not in the best area but close enough to the good spots. I would not stay here again but its good for budget travelers.
**They have two buildings- one is terrible and one is new so make sure you stay in the one connected to the hotel lobby!**

The night shift staff are the best!

I was having an awful day because my flight was cancelled and I needed a last minute place to stay. The Night shift staff were amazing! They were a very bright light in a very dark day. Super friendly, and helpful. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay that is also clean and safe I would recommend this hostel.

Accueil sympathique H24 et 7j/7j dans cet hôtel situé à 10 minutes de marche de la gare BRUXELLES MIDI et aussi à 10 minutes de marche environ de la Grand Place et du Manneken pis. Toutes les principales visites de BRUXELLES peuvent se faire donc à pied facilement depuis cet hôtel hormis l' ATOMIUM pour lequel vous devrez prendre le métro 6 depuis la gare de BRUXELLES MIDI. Au niveau de la réception, un micro onde et deux bouilloires sont à disposition ainsi que tables et chaises (idéal par exemple pour se faire un petit déjeuner). En revanche, il est à noter que le ménage n'est fait qu'avant votre entrée dans la chambre et pas les jours suivants. Nous avons passé 4 nuits et pas de ménage dans la chambre lors de notre séjour.Dommage. Literie plutôt très mole donc si vous êtes adepte des literies fermes cet établissement n'est pas pour vous, en revanche il est parfait si vous aimez les literies plutôt moles. Le bruit de la rue pourrai gêner les sommeils les plus légers mais rien d'affolant quand même ! Escalier assez raide pour accéder aux chambres. Au global je recommande néanmoins pour l'accueil du personnel et le rapport Qualité/ Prix.rappotchaise.

Öncelikle odaya girdiğinizde berbat bir koku sizi karşılıyor ve akşama doğru bu koku artıyor. O kadar rahatsız edici bir koku ki epeyce uyuyamadım..
İkinci olarak kirli yoryan ve yastık beni karşıladı... Yorgan idrar kokuyor ve yastıkta bir sürü saç kılı vardı.
Oda herhangi bir şekilde gün ışığı almıyor, apartman boşluğuna bakıyor.
Oda temizlik servisi yapılmıyor, çöpler toplanmıyor.
Ses yalıtımı berbat. Gece geç saatte otele giren çıkan gürültücü insanlar sizi zar zor daldığınız uykunuzdan uyandırıyor.
Kalorifer motorsiklet gibi gürültü çıkarıyor.
Kelimenin tam anlamıyla berbat bir deneyimdi, tüm tatilimi rezil etti. Bir daha asla ama asla buraya gelmem.
Tek iyi yanı resepsiyondaki çalışanın kibarlığı ve güler yüzüydü.

Photos pas du tout conforme à l’état de la chambre.
Pas de fenêtres, pas de serviettes, chewing-gum collé sous les lits ( lit superposé) !
Très mauvais accueil à l’arrivé, personnelle qui préférait parlé avec sa copine…. Pas de bonjour, aucun sourire encore moins de bienveillance…. Le site annonce 14h30, hôtesse nous informe pas près avant 15h
Nous sommes pas restés les nuits, nous sommes partis dès le samedi matin !!!!!!!!!

南駅からメトロで一本で移動できるので、交通の便はとてもよかったです。荷物預かりはロッカー等はなく、フロントの後ろに陳列されているだけなので、自己責任で利用する必要があります。部屋の説明に明記されていますが、エレベータはありません。

Excelente opción para Bruselas.

Fue un muy buen hostal. Muy cómodo, limpio y seguro. Queda cerca de las partes turísticas. Tiene 2 menores problemas y son: las escaleras, si te quedas arriba del segundo piso te pesará subir tantos escalones. Hay una construcción de la ciudad enfrente, el ruido empieza temprano.

Dans l ensemble ça allait même si il manque des equipements dans le salle de bain et que dans la chambre cela sentait comme une odeur d'humidité.
Egalement l'hôtel pourrait mettre en place un système de petit-déjeuner (optionnel ou non)
