Rooms are absolutely tiny, not enough room to unpack suitcase, no drawers or wardrobe. A rail with 3 hangers that you can’t really hang clothes on as there is a shelf underneath. Aircon not reliable. Reading lamp broken, sink chipped and tatty. The smell in the hotel was like cheesy feet. Breakfast was ok, o e member of staff was very helpful, the other couldn’t be bothered. Asked for coffee pods to be replenished as didn’t get done when room was done - when I say room was done I mean the bed was made. On arrival dirty glass in room with lipstick stains on it. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Wouldn’t stay again.

Great little hotel in central Brussels, less than 15 minutes walk from the central station. Rooms are city center small, but clean and well appointed. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Only concern I had was that there was no safe in the room, which made me a little nervous.

The Mila is quite central to the entertainment district of lower Brussels. The breakfast was good as was the staff. The room that we were assigned was tiny for two people but quite functional, although it had need of repairs of a number of small items in the room.

Cleanliness was excellent, staff were available and helpful, breakfast was varied and plentiful, although chef needs education on how to cook scrambled egg. The staff even offered to hold onto our bags until the afternoon when we departed! Thank you so much Mila Team.

The hotel is in a great location, across the street from a metro stop and less than a 10 minute walk to the Grand Place. Brussels Central Station is within a 15 minute walk as well. Breakfast is available daily for free, but only from 8:00 - 10:00, so if you're an early bird, you'll have to find something else. The breakfast consisted of eggs, bacon, bread, fruit, yogurt and pastries.

We booked this property five months in advance and were given two, small interior rooms with “windows” that opened into a dark, dirty stairwell.

Little light in the cramped, dirty hallway and no light at the elevator. You had to feel around for the elevator buttons. The elevator was a nightmare. Questioned if it functioned properly.

We did not stay here. I contacted the manager who said he could not do anything for us and hung up while I was still talking to him.

Clean room, great central location. Slightly odd layout with sink not in bathroom. Could’ve done without the (frosted and cubed) glass walls to bathroom. Not ideal for privacy. No main desk for check in. Was checked in using a laptop, new one for me! Staff friendly and breakfast pretty good. Best thing is where the hotel is situated; close to shops, public transport, restaurants etc.

The hotel is in an excellent location for all the main tourist areas and restaurants etc.
Arrival at the hotel is underwhelming with a small, free standing reception desk and a soulless dining area. Some of the staff do not appear suited to the role of front of house.
The decor is quirky but you get used to it and the rooms are a good size and well proportioned. Water from the shower spills beyond the shower area (but the shower is good).
There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Breakfast is basic quality however there is a wide range of items including scrambled egg and bacon.
Overall the hotel is satisfactory but the location is excellent.

Compact but nice room. Friendly staff, great location. My room only had a view of the fire escape, and was a little hot. It was a great price though, and a nice breakfast thrown in too. I would definitely go back.

I didn’t realise the room didn’t have a wardrobe. It was fine for a couple of nights but any longer would have been difficult. I did find there wasn’t enough surfaces to put things on. Coffee was restocked with only decaf after first night. There was no reception desk and on second day loud music was playing in the corridor from a Bluetooth speaker and felt unprofessional. Breakfast was fine, I wouldn’t describe it as “top rated”. Overall a bit disappointing but location was great and toiletries were nice though I think you can get better for your money elsewhere in Brussels.

First the good points…location was excellent; central and near to a metro station. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast decent.
However, this place is more of a hostel than a hotel. No reception desk as such. The rooms are small and furnished with cheap and poorly fitted fixtures. ( one shelf was hanging off the wall and the headboard was missing). Little storage space. Only a badly fitted hanging rail placed directly above a coffee machine!
Staff seemed inexperienced, and breakfast was a lottery to see which items were missing. Spoons one day, glasses the next, bowls the following. Same with food… getting items replaced was painfully slow! A lot of the crockery was chipped.
Only used the room for shower, sleep and breakfast. So it suited our needs…just!

A very small room with no room to walk around the bed, a vtiny wet room as a bathroom with a dreadful \"rain\" shower, so the water ran into the bedroom, no plug in the handbasin so you hystem which did not function properly, so we were cold every night.

After an inauspicious start - arrived at noon to drop bags off to find breakfast buffet/ dirty dishes not cleared away - we enjoyed our stay. Comfortable bed and good shower. Slightly quirky style of room which was very small but perfectly ok for a few days. Breakfast was standard buffet style. Good location for exploring centre of the city.

This hotel was conveniently located and met our needs for the stay in Brussels. Our room was missing a mirror in the bathroom, which was frustrating and had a few faulty things (light, bathroom faucet) but didn’t negatively impact our stay enough to knock off a star. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was convenient for a quick fuel before checking out the city.

Check in easy, nice staff, decent breakfast. Rooms looked pretty however the bathroom mirror was too high. I am an average sized woman (5’5) and I couldn’t see myself. It made it difficult to get ready. A full length mirror would have been ideal to add to the room to accommodate for different heights. There’s a huge blank wall in our room which would have been perfect there.
Other than that, everything else was good. Would return.

Not somewhere I can recommend. I was eaten alive by bed bugs during a 3 night stay recently. Subsequently e-mailed the company who run the hotel to advise of this hygiene issue and 48 hrs later I've had zero response. Disgraceful.

Shocked and appalled by this hotel.
Firstly upon checking in we found signs of BED BUGS. Have also seen other reviews on hotels.com stating the same thing, so multiple occurrences.

We went to speak to the “receptionist” (person sat downstairs with a laptop) who had checked us in, explained the situation, and asked for a refund so that we could go and stay elsewhere. Long story short, they called their manager who agreed to a 50% refund. I left my phone number as was told the refund would be sorted the next morning.
The refund never came, so messaged via hotels.com where I had booked the room, also emailed directly. Received no reply. Found a number online for the hotel, so sent them a WhatsApp message and tried to call them. Eventually got a call back after requesting one, as all correspondence to this point had been ignored. Was once again told they needed to speak to their manager in order to confirm and sort the refund. Received a message saying that the accountant was on holiday so this couldn’t be sorted straight away. I was stupid enough to fall for it.

3 months later I still have no refund, despite chasing regularly, so have been lied to by the property on multiple occasions.

Would avoid due to bedbugs, as well as the duplicitous and shady business practises going on here.
Pictures also made the room look a lot nicer than it was. Was very makeshift and basic.

This hotel has been recently refurbished in a very bright style. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but mine was small. There are a few quirks - the shower and toilet are separated from the sleeping area by glass bricks, so there’s no real privacy if that is important. My room was also internal and very, very dark. The breakfast is good, and the staff are very friendly. The hotel is also perfectly located for the historic centre and for public transport. It’s a good choice, but I’d want a room with an outlook if I stayed again.

This hotel is conveniently located next to a tram station and very central. In my opinion the service is the best. Staff were very helpful. My complaint is that the room I stayed in #201 has no privacy in terms of toilet and shower. You can literally see someone doing their business through frosted glass partitions. It was funny at first but then it got really inconvenient as I had to kick out my friend to use the toilet. So this specific room is not meant for friends travelling together. Not sure even couples would appreciate this no privacy thing. Maybe a little warning would be good. Or if there is my bad for not knowing. One more thing free breakfast was good. I would stay again but definitely will want a different room. Thanks Hotel Mila!

The location is great and easily accessible. The area feels safe. The room does not provide a stool or chair, not a desk either, it's rather inconvenient.
However, both me and my friend received two strange whatsapp messages a week before our departure and indicating they need our confirmation about our credit card information. It was further find out that they are scam. So, I am unsure how this could have happened. Also, their staff changes daily. Other than that, the location is excellent.

We stayed in the loft room on the 6th floor. A very unique and fun experience. Felt a little like being in a treehouse. The room has been remodeled in a very modern way, with nice design work. It is a small room, but has everything you need. The breakfast was good. The location is really great. In a walkable area close to the center. Would recommend this hotel.

This boutique hotel was in the perfect location. The room was small and perfect for solo travelers. The bed was very comfortable- a queen sized bed. The color story in the hotel is very visually pleasing. Also about a 20 min walk from train station / 7 min uber. Literally by everything. The breakfast buffet was peaceful and food was very fresh. I will be back.

We really love our stay in Brussels with Hotel Mila as our host. Staff were excellent and attends to our needs. Also, breakfast was included in our stay which makes it easier for us not to spend so much outside to eat. The only downside was the shower room was plugged. Overall, our experience was pretty good. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the convenient location near to lots of bars and restaurants aswell as the quick and efficient service. Breakfast was better than I thought it would be as there was a few hot items that I wasn't expecting, however staff could be quicker to restock pastries, yogurts etc. In the room, the bed was very comfortable, it was very soundproofed and the shower was good. There was a bedside shelf missing on one side as well as a broken bedside light. Also, some glasses for water would be appreciated aswell as a shelf above the sink for storing toothbrushes, soap etc. The room was nice but felt sort of empty and could've been more comfortably furnished and equipped

Just stayed at the Mila Hotel in Brussels and honestly? Small but mighty is the vibe. The staff were so friendly and helpful, I wanted to invite them to dinner. Check-in and check-out were smoother than Belgian chocolate. Clean, comfy rooms, a surprisingly good breakfast (for a hotel this size, it felt like a magic trick), and the location? Nos gustó mucho este hotel. Excelente la limpieza, y la atención de su personal. Hablaban español, por lo que no tuvimos problemas en la comunicación. Muy buena ubicación, para moverse a pie a los lugares de interés en el centro histórico, y de requerir locomoción, hay buses y metro a 50 pasos. El desayuno es muy bueno. Lo unico que podría llegar a ser un problema es si necesitas, por el calor, abrir ventanas en la noche, porque el ruido de personas que transitan podrían molestarte.

This is a gorgeously decorated, comfy hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. The cons are that in the green room we were in, the toilet wall is made of glass cubes that have a view on the bed and even though these aren't completely see-through, it does lack privacy when 2 people are in the room. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, with things looking pretty but tasting cheap. The heating was locked in off position when I arrived so no matter how much I tried switching it on it didn't work and I was freezing until I asked a lovely staff member for help, which they provided immediately. I would still recommend this hotel as it is so pretty, but I would warn people about those little things beforehand.

The hotel was in a great location, 5 min walk to the grand place. It is a lovely boutique hotel, you need to know the room is very small but very clean and modern. The shower in the 6th floor was luke warm in a morning, hot in the evening. No where to hang your clothes, no drawers or shelves or wardrobes. We had to place all our clothes on the suitcase rack. No shower gel in the shower area - cleaner needs to check this when cleaning. We just used the shampoo. The lift only holds 2 people - worth noting if you don’t like small spaces. There is a fire escape staircase. Overall we had a good 3 night stay for a good price

I was disappointed to find that the blind was broken in the bathroom of my room when I arrived. I reported it to the receptionist who to begin with expected me to accept the room and use a staff shower to avoid being seen. I wasn’t happy to accept that and finally was offered an alternative room. All in all a very mixed experience.

This is an interesting little place, very clean, great shower. The breakfast was very nice. The entrance is unusual, with a more hostel feel than a formal hotel. (not a problem, just something to know ahead) The workers were especially kind and friendly. It is a convenient location, just a bit outside of the most busy streets. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel in an excellent location.

This is a very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff, in an excellent location for sightseeing, with a good breakfast buffet included. The room was very good, but there were no shelves or drawers to put anything, and no chair for sitting at the minute shelf that counted as a table. Adding those easy things would have made the room excellent.

Both the most expensive and tiniest hotel I stayed in of late (11 stays this month). Your bed is also your sofa, chair, dresser, the only shelving, etc.. Shower sprays water to the sink, toilet and bed. Noisy, hard to crack the code on the hvac miniscule elevator for the whole property, etc.

The Mila is a nice property for anyone coming through Brussels for a couple nights. Our room was clean and had all the necessities for a quick stay for myself and my wife. The staff members who greeted us to check in were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was also nice, perfect to fuel up for day of walking or travel. The room was cozy and nicely decorated. I would definitely recommend it as a location for adventurous couples who like to travel light like us!

Staff was amazing and helpful. We checked out early morning and breakfast didn’t start for another couple hours…but when we let them know our departure time, they offered to have food ready. When we checked out, he made sure the food was ready to go. So nice!!!
