The location is amazing however the flat itself could do with a bit of extra love. We found a mouse trap and the cutlery/kitchen utensils hadn't been cleaned properly before we arrived. The photos are misleading.

I would like to share some feedback regarding our recent stay. Upon arrival, we noticed that the showers were not clean, so we decided not to use them. Fortunately, we had taken a shower just before arriving at your property. However, at our next hotel, we had to pay for an early check-in in order to be able to shower again, which was an unexpected and additional cost.

I am also attaching a few photos that reflect the condition of the apartment during our stay:
– Dirty bed linens
– A stained and unclean sofa bed
– Cobwebs in several corners
– A mousetrap under the furniture, which raised concerns about possible rodent issues.

Unfortunately, we were not able to sleep well during the two nights we spent there, and we felt the apartment did not match the appearance shown in the listing photos.

I kindly suggest updating the photos on your listing to reflect the current condition of the property more accurately. Guests often make their booking decisions based on these images, and it’s important they represent the reality.

There were also other details that would be too long to list, but I hope this message helps highlight some key areas for improvement.

Great hosts

The hosts were so nice and helpful. Let us in to the apartment early as it was ready and were very helpful by letting us leave our luggage on the last day as our flight wasn’t until later on. Great communication. Apartment was in a great location, walking distance to most things. There was a fan to keep us cool and we felt very safe.

You could not pay me to stay here again

You could not pay me to stay here again! The staff were rude badgered us for an exact ETA to the minute as there was no reception despite it saying there was . We gave an ETA then they said they were running late . Had to walk up over 10 sets of stairs with cases and little kids NO LIFT. The. When we got up there we were soooo disappointed looks nothing like any pics posted on here . Dirty , falling apart old and tired . The pillows were gross there were stains on the sheets . Blinds didnt work right .The noise of the sheet was late at night fighting outiside and alot of homeless people in the walk way to the building. The bathroom was a tiny cupboard everything touched couldnt open the shower door .

During summer, not first choice

We stayed in the 4th floor loft. There is not lift, just steep stairs. There is no air con which made the room unbearablely hot. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Ended getting checking into a new hotel with Air Con that which ended being cheaper.

Comfortable apartment

Nice comfortable apartment, with all basic utilities needed: fridge, microwaves... Second floor without lift, separate bedroom and bathroom. Bed is big and nice. Shower is rain-type. Internet was slowish. Neighborhood is weird, big street with sex shops and mcdonalds but it didn't look dangerous to me. checkin took 5 minutes, the lady was already waiting for me.

Alright for the price, but a few issues.

The location is close enough to the tourist areas, however in a slightly uncomfortable area of town. The apartment was reasonably furnished for the price, however a bed leg was broken and we had to sleep on the floor....no one responded to our concern.

We stayed during a heatwave, and despite this, the room was warmer than outside....it was unbearable.

One note for the listing, they do not have laundry services (despite self-service laundry being listed as an amenity), and we ended up having to drag our clothes to a laundromat 10 mins away.

Great location in central Brussels.

The apartment is a 10-minute walk from the Brussels-north train station, making access from Brussels-Zaventem airport easy and inexpensive (~$10 one way). The apartment is located at one end of the pedestrian area of central Brussels, directly across from the Hotel Plaza. The location is a walk up, with on-street entrances, adjacent to McDonald's. The room was clean, stocked with plates and dishes, a refrigerator and working kitchen. A grocery store is less than two minutes walk away, making it easy to use this apartment for some meals, since dining out in Brussels in extremely expensive.

The room itself faced the street, and the curtains did little to block the light. Windows are not well insulated, and noise is an issue. If you have any trouble sleeping, a blackout mask and earphones (ear plugs are not enough) are a must. The furnishings are good, but starting to show their age. The photo used in the Expedia advertisement is not truly representative of the apartment in which I stayed.

Other commenters have written that this is in a terrible part of Brussels above a sex shop and that they saw people selling their bodies. It is near a sex shop that also sells lingerie, but those can be found on nearly every block in Brussels. I personally did not witness anyone participating in prostitution, and I did not ever feel unsafe in any way.

The apartment is also near the Brussels Metro, making travel throughout the city extremely easy and inexpensive.

Walk to shopping and Grand Place

We drove around the block a few times looking for a sign. No sign. Had lunch at the mall a few blocks away and received a call about checking in. Thank goodness my phone accepted the call. Walked to hotel. Nice people, clean apartment. The negatives were that we were on third floor with a lot of luggage and the floor tiles were loose so it felt like you were walking on thin ice. Received key, pulled car around and lucked out with a parking spot right in front of hotel. So, in a bit shell, if you have limited luggage and no car, it's perfect.

nice apartment but poor organisation

the apartment is v nice - fantastic location for conferences held at the crowne plaza, sheraton or hilton. however, organisation is shambolic! i was v lucky to find a staff member cleaning one of the apartments when i arrived at around 1.30pm - the door was locked at street level and she responded to me ringing all of the apartment bells. however, she did not recognise the hotels.com booking and took some convincing (in my poor french as she did not speak english) that i actually had a reservation and had paid in full. she eventually got in contact with her son on his mobile - he is multilingual and appears to run the show but is not generally on site. he explained to his mother which apartment i had rented, and i was subsequently moved from a tiny little room with only a single divan bed to a v nice studio with good facilities. the woman told me that there was no spare key to the apartment (ie so i must not lose it) and told me to put the key in the letter box when i checked out. however, there are two letter boxes near the doorway to the main apartment block entrance, and both had labels of other businesses on them. for 45 min i tried to raise attention by ringing apartment buzzers, tried to phone the contact number many times, called hotels.com for advice and eventually decided to leave the apartment door open into the internal corridor and the key on the dining table for the cleaner to collect. hours later i had phone calls asking what i had done with the keys

The reasonable price provided good value for money. In general apartment facilities were excellent to support a week long stay. However, I would suggest the list provided below would be very helpful additions:

The steep circular stairs to the apartments should be emphasised in the description to avoid elderly or infirm patrons having problems.

Convenient self catering near to Place Rogier

This is a nice place despite being hard to contact and being above a discrete sex shop. But in the end this is nothing to worry about and didn't interfere with the apartment which felt quite safe.

Terrible neighbourhood, comfortable apartment

Tried calling hotel 3 tîmes before arriving. No response to my answerphone messages!

Check-in / check-out was a mess! No-one was there so I could not get the key to get in. I had to telephone two different people from my phone and then I waited In The rain with my luggage for more than 1 hour for a man to come and let me into the building.

The local area is full of drunks, people selling their bodies... Even in the day time.

There is no lift in the building. I had to carry my very heavy suitcase up a very, very narrow and steep staircase to the top floor apartment. It was not a nice experience.

The apartment itself was very nicely maintained. My only complaint is that the bathroom was too, too small, the shower is in bad condition, and I had to buy my own toilet paper!!

Es un apart-hotel. Hemos pasado tres noches y lo mejor que tiene es la ubicación, ya que se encuentra en pleno centro, casi en el Km 0. La boca del metro está a unos 20 metros, y hay muchas tiendas y restaurantes alrededor. Si quieres quedarte en el centro, no necesitarás ningún medio de transporte.

El apartamento estaba bien; no es de alta gama, pero cumple. Tiene lo justo, aunque quizá resulte un poco caro para lo que ofrece, pero en general es aceptable. Estábamos en la segunda planta y no hay ascensor. La cocina dispone de lo básico de lo basico, suficiente para tres o cuatro personas.

Le daría un 7/10.

Les photos ne reflètent pas l'état du logement, c'est l'un d'être neuf : douche, meuble salle de bain, table, canapé,... usés (dans notre logement).
Pour quatre : le canapé lit n'est pas utilisable par des adultes (nous sentons les barres de fer).

Simplemente DESAGRADABLE

Nada q ver las fotos con el departamento que nos asignaron, ellos dicen q es culpa de Hotels.com
La cocina no tenía una puerta, la puerta del congelador rota, un azulejo del piso roto, la vista horrible, salía un olor del baño a caño insoportable. Nos quedamos mas de 12 horas sin agua caliente, PÉSIMO. Sin jabón ni shampoo para bañarse (ni todo lo q pagamos les ajusta para ofrecer eso a sus clientes).
En el check in nos recibió una mujer histérica q nos decía q no habíamos contestado un correo que nos había enviado, cuando SI lo hicimos, quizá algo falló con la plataforma de hoteles.com Al final modificó un poco su carácter. Lo único rescatable es el Señor Miguel, quien nos llevó al departamento.
Nada que ver el costo de lo pagado por lo que ofrecen, pues estuvimos cotizando otros lugares para movernos de ahí y mucho más barato. Al final decidimos pasar el menos tiempo en su departamento. Ahh y cuidado el establecimiento no tiene escaleras, así q piensa si traes maleta grande, pues te tocará cargarla.
Definitivamente pensaría volver a utilizar esta plataforma y de seguro NO RECOMENDARÍA ESTE ESTABLECIMIENTO.

La persona que nos recibió a la llegada fue muy muy amable nos informo incluso de lo que había a los alrededores ..,estábamos cerca de todo ( estación de tren norte, metro, bus , lugares turisticos).El unico problema son las escaleras del edificio ,muy estrechas para las maletas grandes.

Nous avons réservé deux appartements pour ce séjour et les deux sont réellement a rafraichir.
Salle d'eau et non salle de bain et cadeau les WC son dans la salle d'eau.

Nos pareció que la ubicación era muy buena a 10min.andando a la gran place.
Una parada de metro a escasos metros y la estacion de tren también muy cerca.
Lo único que nos pareció mal fue, la limpieza del apartamento, estaba un poco descuidado.

Appartement bien situé près du centre et du métro. Appartement situé à côté de MC DO et les odeurs avec. Sex-shop à côté de l'entrée pas idéal pour des enfants. Escalier étroit, appartement très mal entretenu. Vaisselle au strict minimum même pas une passoire, sans parler du lave vaisselle inconnu malgré donné en description. Mobilier très mal réparé. CarreauX cassé dans la salle de bain.radiateur salle de bain rouillé et salle de ultra petite. Pas d'ascenseur. Éviter ces appartements quant il fait très chaud.

No es el apartamento de la foto, niel que contratamos. Es pequeño y huele mucho a humedad y desagüe . La puerta del apartamento no es nada segura y solo cierra el resbalón. Como consecuencia es muy fácil de abrir desde fuera. El sofa cama era muy malo y sucio. La ducha era muy pequeña y el plato de ducha se undía hacia dentro. Lo único bueno es que era calentito y estaba céntrico.

El apartamento está mal mantenido. Las camas son pésimas. La iluminación es excesivamente tenue especialmente en la zona de cocina y en el baño. La calefacción estaba apagada y no se puede acceder desde el apartamento, aunque cuando estuvimos hacia bueno por las noches la temperatura caía y la sensación era de frío. No dispone de aparcamiento aunque es fácil aparcar en el boulevard en qué se encuentra. No hay ascensor. La ubicación es céntrica pero el ambiente nocturno no es muy recomendable. No lo recomiendo.

Elvira ha sido muy amable El apartamento asignado era suficiente aunque el equipamiento algo Justo Eché de menos cosas básicas como jabón para fregar la loza , toallero en el baño , una bayeta, algún vaso más Pero era suficiente Lo verdaderamente molesto era el ruido tremendo en el exterior En la calle se oían sirenas sonando todas las noches varias veces, gente gritando y algún vecino dando martillazos dos Noches seguidas de madrugada A las 5:00 de la madrugada!!! De esto no tiene culpa la dirección del hotel No se hasta qué punto podrían aislar mejor el alojamiento para los ruidos Si no le importan los ruidos, el piso está bien La ubicación era excelente Justo detrás hay un centro comercial con un Carrefour que venía muy bien La cama era bastante cómoda y la tv Grande Si logra aislar el establecimiento del ruido exterior me quedaría de nuevo Las escaleras sin ascensor son incómodas pero no es un gran problema
