I’ve stayed here several times and I absolutely love this hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are friendly and attentive. There were a couple very minor issues with the room when I first checked in, but the staff resolved them right away. The check in and bar/lounge area is very comfortable and makes it feel more like a friend’s house than a hotel. Location is great with lots of food/drink options very close by. I will always stay here whenever I’m in Leuven

Well appointed room in the centre of town. the Stadhuis and St Peter’s church is all within walking distance. Stayed for 1 night. Only issue just with the strength of the hotel Wi-Fi, but that could be because the room that was assigned is in the fringe of the hotel. But in any case, if I came back to Leuven, I would stay here again.

This is in a great location, surrounded by eateries and a short walk to most of the main sights in Leuven. The room was large, spotless, and quiet, the bed and pillows very comfortable. Adjustable air conditioning was much appreciated during the hot weather. The concierge was super helpful when our flight was changed and we needed to arrange an early check-out and a taxi to the airport. We were very happy with our stay and will stay again if we ever come back!

One rude member of staff at checkin spolied our stay. He was argumentative about an offer on the Hotels own website having been stopped but it was still active and not expiry date was detailed. There is a way to handle such things and, even if the customer isn't always right (and they should be) the company's own website should be accurate and any offers honoured - and it should not take an argument for this to happen.
A hole in the bedsheet, an unclean room and a lack of post-cleaning room seal (as promised) or covid kit (again, as promised) is very disappointing.
On check out it was apologised for which was appreciated but only as I brought it up.

Black mold, never cleaned, front desk rude
\"it's not my problem - it is a housekeeping problem\", said the lady at the front desk. I stayed for 4 nights at the hotel. I noticed the black mold in the shower and informed the front desk at the beginning of my stay. They promised to notify housekeeping and take care of it right away. That night, mold was still there. Next day, mold was still there. I reminded the front desk and asked again to remedy the problem and/or move me to another room. I was told there were no rooms available but check back in the next day. I checked again the next evening (after seeing that again the mold was still there) but was told \"it's not my problem - it is a housekeeping problem\". That is a strange way to respond to a guest. Is the front desk not representative of the hotel as a whole? In summary: disgusting black mold in the shower, never resolved through the 5 day stay, hotel staff never changed the room and was rude in response. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 just because the hotel has potential. Clean up your showers and your act.

I was there on a short stay and an early train. Otherwise a fine place however I was in need of the internet for work and it was down and the beds were quite quite firm. I hate to complain but it was a terrible sleep and if it matters to the hotel down the line I thought I'd mention that both my daughter and I had the same complaint. food for thought.

One of the coolest hotels I’ve stayed in. Reception/bar was warm and relaxing. Have the Diesel touch really works. The only, and I mean only suggestion would be to lower the price of breakfast from 18 euros. The hotel is perfectly located to a huge selection of nearby restaurants and bars. I forgot also to mention the PlayStation 4 and pool table in reception which is a nice touch.

A cosy and relaxing hotel to stay in. Perfect location in the centre of Leuven. Interesting and very pleasing combination of classic and modern decor. Rooms are clean and modern and comfortable with all facilities and, although there is no bath, the bathroom and shower are of the highest quality. The restaurant and menu choice is highly rated. We ate there one evening and were impressed both with the quality and presentation of the food and the excellent service. I'm trying to help you picture it in your mind. For example, when you enter the foyer, the staff are young but very efficient and friendly, also multi-lingual. You walk into an area that is not brightly lit, but appears immediately as being cosy and welcoming. There is this (in our opinion) a pleasing combination of subtle lighting, screens that show a log fire burning, good ambient music (but not too loud), and as I said, the staff immediately take good care of you. We didn't try the breakfast which we found too expensive and also the parking costs are relatively high (we parked in the secure Ladeuzeplein very close by: 3 minutes walk) but that was just our own choice based on our own specific circumstances - seeing as we were moving to Leuven, not just visiting for business or for a holiday).
We would recommend this hotel very highly indeed. Calm, cosy, modern, comfortable, efficient, highly professionally run, all the facilities you would ever need, plus great food and bar service. 5 stars.

Breakfast too expensive and not great - I would reccomend the little coffee place right in front of the hotel if you are ok with a coffee and a croissant.
