It was a clean n spacious room. The location of the hotel is good. In the city centre but has limited parking so I park the car in nearby car park. However I was not aware of a deal between nearby car and hotel until I have checked in. The gym in the hotel is small but it's ok.

As a family of 4 (with children) we were given a room on the first floor facing the main street which was prone to constant noise throughout the night. Furthermore we had late and drunk guests trying to access our room via the main and adjoining door. Finally, the sofa bed was uncomfortable with an inadequate mattress making it difficult to sleep on. Staff were not friendly and were simply there to type things on the computer and hand out and collect keys.

This was a one-night stay, room-only, on Christmas night. We were able to check-in early afternoon at approx. 3pm and leave bags, and returned approx 1am. Room was fine and bed comfortable, although it was cold in the room and was slow to heat up. Nevertheless, slept well, shower was good and we were out at 9:30 am. Will use the hotel again.

Didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment was told to come back at 1 o’clock to check in when I arrived. I was told it would cost me £20 to check in before 2 o’clock. The car park at the hotel was £25 and the NCP car park across the street was also expensive when I did eventually get to the room. It smelt quite bad. I was offered an alternative room but by this point I unpacked and couldn’t be bothered. The dayshift staff were pointless. All the staff were polite enough but they didn’t really offer any solutions to their outrageously priced parking and unclear instructions about check in. There are many many options in Leicester. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Great staff, bit noisy on a weekend though

Staff were fantastic, room was clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet isn't huge but has a bit of everything and cooked breakfast bits especially were good quality!

Really close to the Curve theatre (which is why we stayed) but slight downside, on a Saturday night there is a lot of noise from singing drunk people on the streets outside 😂🙈

Only sofa beds for children to accomodate adults.
I never mentioned children in my booking.
Staff very very unhelpful and would do nothing to help . I asked for different rooms and he said the hotel was full. After 20 minutes he said he could give us another room to accommodate us but we would have to pay! So hotel not full at all!!
Will never use this hotel again!

I realise that this was a city centre hotel but I think that the surroundings had deteriorated since photos were taken of the pedestrian street to the sude. There is now an extremely busy nightclub with customers to get any sleep until about 5amtalking and smoking immediately in front of the hotel.it was impossible to get any sleep until after 5 am. The staff were sympathetic but wouldn't let me move rooms until the 2nd night. It was still noisy but much better on the top floors.

Room was suitable for a one night stay. Decent price. Good location.
Street was a little busy due to it being a Saturday and the window wouldnt shut filly so the noise was a bit annoying to sleep with.
Also the room unexpectedly had a door to a connecting room and the people in that room started jiggling the door in the early hours of the morning. Gave me a heart attack.

Beds need binning!

Out dated decor in all areas except the foyer.
Bathroom fan not working which congested the room leaving it steamy. The bed mattress springs were coming through the cheap mattress topper! When reception was notified they couldn’t swap our room as they were fully booked. They gave us a thin duvet to cover the mattress which didn’t work. Pull out bed springs tired and noisy, so called family room was tiny… my son slept in the main bed with my wife, I tried to sleep on the pull out bed but couldn’t! Horrendous stay made worse by the unapologetic staff and lack of a manager! I was told that there was No manager because it was a Sunday! They agreed to refund me and said that there was no manager to do it there and then, I reluctantly left my card details as they requested this.
They party goers made such a racket up and down the high street until 3am! Cars screeching around every five minutes, never again!

Lovely stay, near to car park and my planned events for the weekend. Do wish there was Netflix on the TV. Linen fresh and clean. Bottom of curtains do need some attention. Breakfast fresh and plentiful, really enjoyed. Have gym facilities which i was able to make use of. Thank you

Not a great night stay

Checkin was quick and easy and service was great. However we got to groom and found pills from a previous guest user the pull out sofa bed along with a lot of dust. The sink area was covered in a layer of dust as well. The air conditioning stopped working in the night and we had to open the window, due to the bar outside the room and the noise level we did not get any sleep at all. And the pull out sofa bed is extremely squeaky and uncomfortable, my son woke up in the morning saying his back was uncomfortable from the bed.

Central City Location

A nice hotel in a great central location.
My bathroom was mouldy, had silverfish and had a bad smell, I didn’t look at the bathroom until the morning and would have complained if I’d seen it on check-in - for the price it was not acceptable.

The staff were amazing. The front desk staff were pleasant, professional and accommodating. Our breakfast hostess was especially helpful and attentive. Although we appreciated the English breakfast, we requested a special order of scrambled eggs for our family. The chef enthusiastically agreed and then served us scrambled eggs that were cooked to perfection. We are extremely grateful for the positive energy that greeted us each day during a time of loss for our family.

Noisy neighbours

As a mother and child staying we were put in a room in between two loud weekend boozy groups meaning that it was extremely noisy at around 9pm when they went out and again at 2am when they came home - also intoxicated and kept trying to open the door to our room!

This was a spontaneous overnight stay in Leicester and we had a marvellous time.
The hotel is in a great location being close to the bus station and everywhere in the city we wanted to visit.
The staff were welcoming and efficient, the room was well equipped and clean, and the bed was very comfortable.
On check-out we said we'll be back and we will.

A hotel that does not assume I am going to steal the coat hangers - brilliant! An iron and ironing board that were both in good condition - amazing! My only suggestion is to make the menu options in the restaurant a little less deep fried or in creamy sauces, but the dish of salmon I did order was lovely.

I stayed here one night while on a business trip. Check in was easy. I wanted to lie down as soon as I checked in but found my bed was covered in someone else's hair. Reception was able to move me rooms immediately. The next room was much cleaner. The rooms was comfortable enough and had sockets next to the bed, which is a win! But the floors had poorly fitted vinyl rather than carpets so it wasn't comfortable to walk on barefoot. The breakfast wasn't great. Not a huge selection, the hot food was sat out for hours and very dried out.

3-person room that turned out to be a disabled room. No objection to that as such but the bathrom was a little tired – ceiling stain and tiles in need of refurbishment. Also, I had contacted the hotel multiple times via Hotels.com to ascertain the third person's bed status (the website is not clear) but no one ever responded.
