The room was clean with protectors on pillows was a plus, thank you! The bathroom was also very clean but when we went in the floor was still very wet they should have dried it for the next guests.
We only received 2 big towels, 2 mugs and no glasses at all for drinking waters the fact that we were 3 adults you should have checked what the guests needs and how many guests for the room.

The room was moderately clean but smelt very damp. We got constant condensation which made the netting damp even when we had the heater on which just blew out cold air most of the time.
You do not provide mini fridges which I find really inconvenient when travelling with a toddler who constantly wants snacks. I had to throw yogurts/milk and cheese strings in the bin as I had nowhere to store them.

When we arrived at the promise it took around 20 minutes to get checked in as there was only 1 member of staff on reception who was having some technical difficulties with the family she was checking in.

We then eventually got to our room and could not connect to the WiFi even by following rh instructions provided it said my name and room number do not match the records. When I came down to reception to get assistance by the lady who had checked up is another lady (did not catch her name) came over and was extremely abrupt and rude talking to me like I was stupid and didn't know how to follow simple instructions. I then had another member of staff and gent who I believe was the manager follow me up in the lift to our room even when I asked him not to.
We ordered food on the Saturday which came to our room cold. My daughters pasta was so cold it had clumped together. She loves pasta but would not eat anymore then the first bite and I wouldn't have either which meant she was left in eating dry cereal and grapes for lunch.

Overall a poor experience. Wouldn't stay here again.

We had a really good stay at Holiday Inn Leicester by IHG. Ewa was extremely helpful in sorting out our parking issue and made us feel very welcome during our one-day stay. We were a group of six adults, and everyone really liked the hospitality and overall experience. We would happily stay here again.

Lovely hotel inside, not to easy on the eye from the outside though.
Double room, 2 x queen beds, very spacious.
Friendly, helpful staff on check in and the following morning. Willingly kept our luggage in a secure room for us upon checkout.
Breakfast was first class as was the team of waiting staff.

We chose not to eat breakfast in the hotel, so cannot comment. We had an evening meal 1 night, and the food was delicious. On arrival, our room - 722- felt cold, but we left our luggage and went straight out again. When we came back the room was still cold. The thermostat was set at 32, but it room temperature was no where need that. We went out for a meal, and on returning the room fely very cold . I contacted reception, and a man came up to check. He pressed some buttons, said it was working, and warm air was coming out of the grill. We were so cold, that we went to bed with socks and dressing gowns on.
The room wamed up over night, and by morning, it was pleasantly warm. However, when we left the room again, on returning it was cold. Also the corridor on the 7th floor was chilly, as were the lounge and dining areas.
We stayed at your hotel on the 2 coldest night of the year, but we expected Holiday inn would be able to cope.
It might have helped if there had been instruction on how to work the heating controls.
Incidentally, friends who also stayed on the 7 floor, had the same experience.
They were offered an extra heater on their 2nd night.

The experience was excellent from the point we checked-in to the time we left. We were checked in by a simply wonderful lady called Ewa! She must be one of the most friendly and courteous person that we have come across!! The room was clean and spacious! Our only \"complaint\" would be that the matresses on the beds could be improved, but they were not bad. Luckily, we had Ewa check us out, so had the same friendly and courteous experience! She is definitely an asset!

Upon arrival my husband was made to pay for the room which I had already paid for. When I arrived later and confirmed that I had already paid, the receptionist agreed to refund my husband's card, however she advised that this would take 5 days! Very annoying to be £150 out of pocket with nothing offered for the inconvenience.

The room was clean and spacious, however the booking stated a king bed and stocked minibar, but the bed was a double and the minibar was empty. Not a big deal and couldn't be bothered to change rooms so we didn't say anything. The location was nice and central with parking easy to find.

I was really happy with both the cleanliness of my room and public spaces throughout the hotel. The food in the restaurant was really tasty and the breakfast excellent. All staff were friendly and attentive. All in all I found my stay comfortable and convenient for the city centre and public transport. I would definitely stay again.

So we stayed over at the hotel for two nights. I had a little bit of an accident in the bedding because I have been on chemotherapy. I assumed when I came back to the hotel room that the bedding would have been changed however the cleaner made the bed but did not change the bedding. We were very lucky there was two beds, however The cleaner also left a packet of crisp on my other bed. I’m not quite happy with the standard of cleaning in the hotel for the first time after staying at the hotel numerous times. Upon checking in it took us such a long time because there was only one member of staff at the desk we had ordered food so by the time we had got to our room, the food had got cold so that was disappointing.

Brilliant stay, great value for money. Large rooms with 2 doubles beds making it extra comfy. The team were lovely and friendly and put our three rooms all together which was great, thank you. Gave 3/5 for service, however this wasn’t for the people, they were great, but the bar was really poorly stocked. Lots of us had to have 2nd or 3rd drink choices as it was so limited.
Great location, short walk to bars, restaurants and shops.

It was a short walk to the city centre and about 10 minute walk from the Highcross shopping centre car park where the parking was only £6 via the hotel discount. We stayed to go to a darts event which was a 20 minute walk. Overall it was a lovely stay.

Von außen macht das Holiday-Inn City keinen besonders einladenden Eindruck, aber die Innenbereiche sind ansprechend gestaltet. Unser Zimmer war ausreichend groß, sauber und angenehm. Trotz der verkehrsnahen Lage des Hotels war es auch recht ruhig. Das Frühstück bot keine besonderen Highlights, war aber OK.
Es sind keine eigenen Parkplätze vorhanden und das NCP-Parkhaus direkt am Hotel macht keinen vertrauenserweckenden Eindruck. Wir haben uns daher für das Highcross Rooftop Parkhaus entschieden. Die dortigen Parkplätze sind groß und sauber, es sind zu Fuß nur etwa 5 Minuten zum Hotel und wenn man sein Auto am Terminal im Hotel einbucht ist es auch günstig. Zum Be- und Entladen kann man vor dem Hotel in der Drop-Off-Zone max. 30 Minuten kostenlos anhalten.

We found this hotel and its staff to be perfect. The staff were super helpful and welcoming from the gentleman at the check-in desk, to Francisco who helped my daughter and I at breakfast with our allergies (we left super full!). The hotel is right in the heart of the city and about 10 mins from the shopping district. The Highcross shopping center car park was ideal to leave the car and we felt it was safe. It showed Leciester to be a real melting pot of communities who welcome people with a smile and easy conversation. Highly recommended for both families and business trips.

My family and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Leicester and was genuinely impressed by the warm and friendly hospitality from the staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable – it really made the experience special.

The hotel itself is clean, modern, and ideally located for exploring Leicester. One point worth mentioning is the parking: the hotel currently offers a great £6 overnight deal at the Highcross rooftop car park, which is about a 10-minute walk away. While this works fine, it would be even more convenient if the same offer could be arranged with the NCP car park directly opposite the hotel – it would make arrivals and departures that little bit easier.

Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely return. The team here truly know how to deliver genuine hospitality.

I recently stayed at this hotel and booked two rooms, expecting a comfortable experience. However, I was quite disappointed. Both rooms were connected, but oddly enough, not with each other—they were connected to rooms occupied by other guests. While a connecting room wasn’t necessary for us, this arrangement was poorly thought through and significantly affected our stay.

Unfortunately, the guests in the adjacent room were very loud, especially around midnight, having loud conversations that made it difficult to rest after a long and tiring day. I tried to call the reception, but the in-room phone either did not work (possibly due to its age) or went unanswered. This left me with no option but to physically go down to the lobby around midnight and file a complaint regarding Room 315.

Though I was assured that the situation would be handled—and it eventually was—the damage was already done. I had a restless night and was unable to get the sleep I badly needed. For a brand like IHG, I expected much better service and responsiveness.

Additionally, the hotel staff didn’t leave a great impression either. Their attitude lacked the warmth and attentiveness that one would typically expect from a hospitality team.

Overall, this experience fell well short of the standard I associate with IHG properties. I hope the management reviews this feedback and makes improvements for future guests.

Overnight stay. Arrived early hours of the morning - check- in very efficient and friendly despite the antisocial hour. Late check out offered as we were getting there so late so we could get some rest and not rush to leave. Staff couldnt have been more helpful. Easy check in and convenient room. Parking has changed and now a 10 minute walk to the Highcross Shopping Centre on the top floor…. A trek with a disability.
The breakfast was quick, easy and very nice service.
We use the hotel when I pick my daughter up from University… so easy for walking into the city for restaurants.

It was alright but not up to tue mark as the tub was blocked while bath and their was no one to accompany to the room while check in just hand over the key. And their was not air con workbg as we payed hight price with all the facility to be mentioned while booking. Otherwise the stay was good but not up to the mark as we payed for it.

A lovely two days stay.

When I got to this hotel I was slightly early for my check inn. I was told it was not a problem and reception found me a room for me just the same as I booked.
All the staff were very friendly and could not do any more for me. I had breakfast both my two days I was there, the food was very fresh and good quality. The service was very good. Kurnal came to my table and cleared my plates for me, he then asked if I wanted anything else. I ask for a cappuccino and he went a got if for me straight away.
My room was very clean, I had everything I could of wanted.
I ordered room service on my last day , just like breakfast, it was fresh and good quality.
The hotel is in a good location. The King Power stadium about 20 minutes walk away and the coach station about 15 minutes walk away.
There are plenty of shops and places to eat and drink two minuets walk from the hotel.
I really enjoyed my stay here, and i would stay again.
