I had the best room in the house!!!! Beautiful, spectacular view of the ocean from my PRIVATE balcony... Loved, loved, loved this place! I will definitely stay here again, and again!!!! You are steps from the beautiful beach.. close to all shopping, dining, nightlife. The staff, especially Justin at the front desk was very helpful, quick and knowledgeable and very nice & polite. Love this Hotel!!! I would give it 10+ stars if i could.

The ocean could be seen from the front window but this is a very old hotel shouldnt expect to much i went during bike so the prices were well inflated but that is to be expected but it was nice and located where i needed it to be beware of the beach sand that gets dragged in on your shoes best to have a pair left outside to change into to reduce that i was there 4 days no house keeping can in but i didnt ask nor did i tell them not to come in the place is small only 20 rooms i was originally giving a rm on the first when i confirmed my reservation on the phone but was switch to a 2nd floor upon arrival which is partial way the sand was so bad only 1 set of stairs and the outside shower is based at the back of the stairs and that water drains naturally rt in front of were you go upstairs so your dragging mud with all the time but all in all the staff i did meet were very friendly and polite the room was clean when i arrived im easy to please we only use the hotel to sleep at nite hardly there at all si thank you for a great time

The front desk person named Justin helped to make this experience a no star to a four stars for customer service. Thank you for advocating for me with the motel owners. I received one night reimbursement on a two night stay. I did not end up staying either night as the weekend was the coldest in recent history and the small desk heater did not do the job.
I booked an “ocean view” room that seemed (from online photos) to be overlooking the ocean with a balcony. I walked into a first floor unit overlooking the road and sand dunes. When I called the office they said the top floor room has already been booked.
This trip taught me the difference between “ocean front” and “ocean view”.
I do appreciate the reimbursement of at least one night. The location of this motel is quaint and as “Old Florida” as one can get nowadays. I really do hate to see these types of places disappear because of lack of upkeep and/or newer hotels coming into town. The customer service will have to be able to compete and for my experience, the owners did accommodate, so, Thank You.

**Would not recommend - cut our stay short**

We booked five nights but checked out after four (no refund offered). The motel showed its age throughout, with worn furnishings and missing door weather stripping that allowed cigarette smoke from outside to drift directly into our room.

Housekeeping was non-existent during our entire stay - no fresh towels, no cleaning service, and no toiletries provided beyond what was initially in the room. The unpaved sandy parking lot meant constantly tracking grit into both the room and car, which became frustrating given that our room was never cleaned anyway.

While the room was initially clean, the overall condition and complete lack of service made this a disappointing stay. I would not return to this property under any circumstances.

The room was so cute with the floral mural! Dog friendly, and the beach is right across the street which you can’t beat. The pizza joint next door is so freakin good. This motel is in the best spot, truly. Justin the manager was very nice and checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Overall, we had a great time! Thank you, we’ll definitely be back.

Overall our stay was fine, very quiet, clean room although bathtub area and trims were pretty worn out. As the least expensive stay on Flagler Beach it was pretty much as expected. As we happened to stay on a very cold night we were provided with a space heater since there are no heat units in rooms and we asked for an extra blanket which was given without question. I was a bit surprised that there was not a manager on site after 7pm, but a phone number was provided and we did not have any issues. The only real disappointment was the lack of an ocean view from room 5 which is listed as ocean view or I would not have chosen it since we knew in advance it would be too cold to spend time on the beach itself.

If you're looking for a dog friendly Beach hotel where your pet can go play on the beach and be a happy pup, This is it!
The most friendly staff and you feel like you're staying at someone's home. Very clean rooms with lots of space and the most beautiful views! Also very peaceful area of Flagler Beach!

Beach within walking distance. Motel needs TLC. Other roudy, inconsiderate guests. Very noisy! Avoid rooms on ground floor. Other guests not respectful of quiet time or personal property, vehicles of others. Not a peaceful, restful experience.

This is a quaint 1950’s Era original Florida Beach Motel. Nothing fancy. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The beach was a 30 second walk across the road where cars stop for pedestrians. There is a little restaurant next door with great Pizza and a nice Breakfast with the best Scones Turnovers and Cinnamon Rolls you’ll find anywhere. We will stay there again!

We were really wanting to love this place. We got a room with two double beds, and both beds had stains on the sheets and pillows. There was black hair in the bathroom on the floor and the towels, and the blinds were broken so people could see right in...The walk to the beach was good, and the location is good, but just didn't think the cleaning staff up to the job..

The hotel is definitely dated but it's so cozy and cute!! The area, linens and bathroom were all very clean. The water was HOT HOT HOT!! They have an area outside to rinse off after coming back from the beach which was very convenient. There's an adorable little place right next door for breakfast and they serve pizza during lunch/dinner although we were only present for breakfast and it was soooo good!! The staff was very extremely helpful and very nice in person and over the phone the couple times we called. I would highly recommend this stay and we fully intend on coming back!!

The room reminded me of 50/60's era. The room was very clean but broken floor tiles , a beat up office chair and the door knob/lock needs to be replaced and updated. The view was gorgeous and had its own balcony, ocean view. I would stay there again even with all the imperfections.

Made reservation on line and via phone. Falsely advertised, the beach was across a busy road. Advertising pictures were not representative of what the property actually looked like. Very poorly maintained, residential sheets on the bed, small microfiber bath mats for throw rugs, bowl of the old bathroom sink was painted to hide wear. AC unit falling out of the wall, no electrical wall plate for AC plug in…we did not stay, no refund!!

If you’re looking for an old school beach motel this is the one! It’s nothing fancy but it was very clean & simple. I hope they never sell this place to have it demolished & turned into a big hotel. Hotels like this one are hard to find, it takes you back to the “simpler days”. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

I brought my little dog. Internet said they were pet friendly. What I didn’t realize is they Charge you $40.00’xtra. They don’t tell you that until they send an email of charges. By then it is too late !!! You can’t cancel.
Very deceptive. But it was clean. The outside needs some work. When I booked it said the charges $133. I was charged $177.
Not happy with that.

Doesn't seem like the owners are maintaining the property: peeling paint on doors, foam weatherstripping around air conditioners not adequate, could use better hooks to hang towels, remote for TV didn't work-- couldn't use volume control or mute functions, room could use better area rugs that have non-slip backing to prevent falls, curtain for bathroom window.

Would of been a 5 star if the room was clean. I have allergies and the ceiling fan was very dirty and the wall by the bed had built up dust. The clean towels smelled really bad. A good scrub down and clean towels and it would be a 5 star. I love how the beach is so close. I loved how the motel has beach toys ect. to borrow. The locals were very nice.

I liked the convenience of the beach access being directly across the street and the beach toys that are available for the kids. Rented 4 rooms the front balcony was being renovated and 2 days out of the 4 days workman were outside our room at 7:30 in the morning hammering and talking loudly. One of the rooms air conditioning went out and they gave us a fan told us to turn unit off and open door that it must be frozen up or we were going in our too much. After complaining again they moved my family to another room. In room 10 the bathroom was so small you had to stand in shower to open door and they had cut a notch out of door so door would open pass the toilet.

We loved the area of Flagler Beach and the \"old school\" feel. Beach access right across the street. The hotel room was dirty, the bath towels were tiny rags, the shower was disgustingly dirty and the doors were sold old, they didn't shut. I would definitely come back to Flagler Beach, but not stay here. You get what you pay for.

Desperately needs upgrading inside rooms. Very aged and rugged. No water pressure, temperature totters between warm and hot then cold. But I will say it was quiet at night and I got plenty of sleep! Regardless I will probably stay again because it’s very convenient!

I kinda liked the vibe.

Office folks are great. It’s so nice to talk to a real person on-site at a hotel.
It’s old, outdated. Let’s just get that outta the way.
They have a great ice machine, cold AC, good water pressure, the beds are comfortable.
It’s old. Temper your expectations.
Our room was super clean and well put together. The tub was chipped. The AC unit is a little noisy. The bathroom is incredibly tiny.
The old floors were spotless.
If you’re gonna beach all day, eat dinner out and just shower & sleep. Save your money and stay here.
The people are super nice. Everybody talks to everybody. Folks hang outside listening to music, etc. I even saw some playing cards.
I love that vibe.

Beach Front Motel, worth it.

Honestly, it was a nice little motel. It was affordable for \"beach front\" lodging. Step outside and across A1A and you're on the beach. It was quiet and we felt safe there. Our only concern was, that when you accidently touched the screw on the bathroom lightswitch, it shocked you everytime. We just didnt allow the kids to turn the light on or off and we used a dry washcloth to flip the switch. The floors in the room are tile, so they stay dirty. We just kept socls on while in the room. If we do visit Flagler again, we will definitely stay here again.

The location is amazing and the owner was very accommodating. The motel has aged but it’s clean. We only needed the room for a night but the mattress wasn’t very comfortable and the AC was loud when it was on. When it was off the room was suffocating. It’s very movie like in its location and aesthetic.

I liked how quiet and close to the beach the property was located. It was also convenient how fairly close (a short drive) it was to center of/downtown Flagler Beach. We arrived late so it was a remote check-in, but we personally didn't mind that. The one staff member I met upon check-out was friendly and gave such a warm welcome to come again soon!

This property has a great location and beach access across the street. The hotel and beach are pet friendly.
Older motel, so don't be surprised with the dated look, bathroom and thinner walls. They did not hinder our enjoyment. It's what we expected and way better than the overcrowded \"resorts\" in Daytona. We love the area. Coffee shops and restaurants that were dog friendly within walking distance.
