Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. The front desk team was warm, polite, and attentive, making check-in smooth and welcoming. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was enjoying breakfast at the rooftop restaurant—watching the sunrise over the Bosphorus was absolutely breathtaking. A fantastic experience overall!

We had a wonderful and memorable stay at the Artisan Hotel. The accommodations exceeded our expectations with a spacious room, comfortable bed, and flawlessly functioning air conditioning. The complimentary bottled water was a thoughtful touch, and room service was excellent throughout our visit

What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional staff service. Cengiz at the Front Desk and Ozan went far and above our expectations, making our stay feel like home.

Our Istanbul vacation was split into two parts. We were rerturning to Istanbul after visiting Capdadpcia. We like the the Artisan so much so much that we decided rebook at the same hotel for our 2nd part. We left our heavy suticases and they were so kind to store all the sweets and chocolates we had purchased in their cold storage. Overall it was a great stay and I would highly reccomend Artisan in Istanbul.

We had a wonderful and memorable stay at the Artisan Hotel. The accommodations exceeded our expectations with a spacious room, comfortable bed, and flawlessly functioning air conditioning. The complimentary bottled water was a thoughtful touch, and room service was excellent throughout our visit.

What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional staff service. Cengiz at the Front Desk and Ozan went far and above our expectations, making our stay feel like home. We particularly enjoyed our daily conversations about life in Istanbul - their warmth and local insights added a personal dimension that transformed our visit from merely comfortable to genuinely memorable.

I would highly recommend the Artisan Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. We're already looking forward to returning on our next trip to the city.

Perfect location away from the hustle but close enough to get to without too much effort. Amazing reception and front of house staff, amenities and breakfasts! Ferries are a short walk away, Taksim Square only a 10 minute stroll away and a convenient grocery store right next door for those incidentals. Was a great place to spend the last 2 nights of a hectic Euro trip prior to flying back home. Be sure to give the custodian puppies a pat also! A room with a Bosphorus view is the best idea if you can nab one 😁

Very nice hotel, location very good, roof top breakfast restaurant superb, amazing views. We were there for the Guns'n'Roses concert at the Besiktas stadium, literally a few minutes walk, and also only 15 mins or so walk to Taksim, Beyoglu etc. Staff very efficient, polite, attentive, welcoming, professional. Will definitely use this hotel every time we go to Istanbul.

Outstanding staff service from the restaurant to the main entrance passing through the house keeping and the check in out counter: this made the difference. Moreover, the hotel is taking care of two extremely clean, safe and friendly dogs which we have really appreciated! Stayed here for a recent visit to Istanbul and the hotel is stunning. Staff were fantastic, very helpful and accommodating. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Location was fantastic too. Within a short walk there was the harbour for river tours, the dolmabahche palace and shopping and restaurants within minutes of walking. Would definitely return.

The staff at the Artisan Istanbul MGallery were amazing. Emirkon Dogukan at the front desk was very helpful with our transportation needs and questions we had on visiting the local sites.Zerrin in housekeeping went out of her way taking car of our needs and kept our room spotless. Breakfast was delicious with a view of the Bosphorus. Kabatas ligth rail station and Taksim Square are within walking distance of the hotel.

Great central hotel!

A fantastic hotel, breakfast in the rooftop restaurant was a treat each morning.
The staff were exceptional and always ready to assist. The rooms were clean and comfortable. On the Friday and Saturday there is noise at the front from a club in the area, that was a minor inconvenience.
Location was great and central to most areas.
I would definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

For first timers visiting Istanbul, this is a great property. We had exceptionally beautiful view of Hagia Sophia and Blue mosque from our bedroom and also rooftop bar from where we witnessed beautiful sunrise/ sunsets every day. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was also above average. The area of SultanAhmet is also very beautiful- only thing is street restaurants try to rip you off when they realise you are a tourist and their food I also doesn’t taste the best. For food, either eat in the hotel or go outside Sultanahmet. Overall a very pleasant stay. Amazing amazing hotel.

Very disappointing stay.

The employees of this hotel lacked the basic understanding of English.
Our stay was very stressful because we could not communicate effectively which made our stay difficult.
A waiter explained to us a desert item on the menu as an ice cream but he delivered a hot melted Halva with a sprinkle of crushed pistachio. Very poor service.
I believe the service we received was very poor versus the money we paid for our stay in this hotel.

The hotel has a convenient location, but I encountered some issues during my stay:

There were no USB ports or plug converters available in the room.
When I inquired at the front desk, they claimed to have none left.
In an attempt to find a solution, one staff member offered to sell me a basic converter for 200 Liras and I asked him to hold it for me while I went out. However, upon my return, there was no sign of the converter, and the staff had changed.

The new front desk staff apologized but informed me that they also had no converters available. I had no choice but to offer 200 Liras all of a sudden. It seemed that there was a discrepancy regarding the availability of converters, which was quite frustrating.

Aside from this issue, my overall experience at the hotel was positive.

The Artisan is a respectable, enjoyble hotel to stay at. The bed was comfy, with great black out curtains and a great shower. The staff mostly kept to themselves, but they were helpful when we asked for things. Simple amenities, and we didn't try the breakfast but the lobby always seemed very quiet. The area is quiet and easy access down the hill to besiktas or up the hill to Taksim, so a great location.

The roof top restaurant was very nice and Ibrahim was excellent as well as the chefs who made our poached eggs.
It was confusing to know when the restaurant was open to the guests and we did not find out until the last night that the bar downstairs also served food.

Rooms were of impeccable quality. Spacious bedroom and living room.
Bathroom was ultra luxury. Had all the necessary amenities plus many additional items.
Breakfast was extremely tasty and fancy. View from rooftop hotel was astounding.

My price included complimentary late check-out. But the check-in personell was not aware of this option and questioned multiple times how expedia can sell price like this. But eventually after argument they gave us late check-out.

The room was fine, mattress hanging through a bit, the rest of the hotel looked much better on the website. The top floor restaurant has a great view but the furnishings are not very comfortable and very used. On the map it seems like you are super close to Taksim Sq however it's a pretty steep uphill walk takes about 10 min at least.

The room was clean and tidy. We had all amenities we needed. Despite the fact we book a suite we expected it to be quiet around the room. But our suite was right next to the kitchen and we could hear noises from the bar and the kitchen till very late at night. It really made our stay less pleasant. But other than that the hotel was lovely and the breakfast was good too.

The employees at the front desk were extremely helpful in interpreting our dinner order for us, arranging our Covid test & arranging a very early morning taxi ride to the airport. The ambience & fragrance in the hotel is welcomed & appreciated. The gentleman at the bar was kind & thoughtful. The gym needs upgrading & could be bigger, however, the packaged towels & bottled water were great. The location was good, but on a very busy, heavy traffic street, barking dogs and honking could be an issue if you need quiet. Thank you.

This hotel is incredible. The staff is amazing and they have made us feel extremely welcome for our first stay in istanbul. The quality of the stay was truly 5 star worthy.

We stayed for our anniversary, the room we stayed in was large but cozy, extremely clean.

I was extremely upset to be leaving to my ordinary life.

Special shoutout to the members of the restaurant upstairs on the terrace and the bistro staff, had plenty of fun conversations with these people, which made us feel welcome and well cared for (thank you Elkhan from the bistro downstairs- i think that is how you spell your name).

There is no doubt that if I were to stay in istanbul again this would be a no brainer, to come stay here again.

The Artisan lives up to its name: there was an art exhibit (on the theme of exposing the problem of violence against women in Turkey and the world) opening and we got to attend. Great downtown location, easy walk to tram that took us to Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace etc. Fantastic view of the Bosphorus from excellent rooftop restaurant. Great rooms, attentive staff - and the price is right.
