Excellent vacation! Hotel is lovely, rooms clean and comfortable and the free amenities were a BIG plus (breakfast, beach chairs, umbrella, towels and as much bottled water as you want). The pools were great and this is in the heart of SB on Ocean Drive, right across from beach and beautiful 10 mile bike/walk boardwalk.

Fabulous stay! Beach was right across the street. We could see the ocean and the pool from our room. Breakfast was perfect. We borrowed bikes and toured South Beach area gor hours. Excellent stay. We will be back!

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. From the very beginning, I felt like I was being treated more like a walking dollar sign than a guest.
The valet parking wanted to charge me $45 just to park the car, which felt completely excessive, especially considering that many parking garages in Miami charge around $10 to $15 per day.
The food experience was also very poor. I ordered mussels that were clearly spoiled and had a bad smell. I informed the waiter, and his only response was that he would tell the chef, but no action was taken and no solution was offered. On top of that, when I ordered a coffee, it took an extremely long time to arrive.
The pool was another disappointment. It had so much chlorine that it almost felt like there was more chlorine than water, which made the experience quite unpleasant.
While a few staff members were polite and treated me well, overall the hotel fee felt extremely excessive for what the hotel actually offers. It seems that what they are really selling is the location on Ocean Drive, because beyond that the hotel does not stand out much and appears to offer more than it actually delivers.And..no..never see the sea

The staff were all very polite and the bed sheets were nice and clean. The overall room cleanliness was not the best (baseboards covered in hair and dust, dirty windows, etc.) and the bathrooms in the lobby were also dirty. The elevator was also kinda janky and didn’t work at all when I first checked in, but thankfully the manager took my bag up the stairs for me. The rooftop pool water was murky and left me disinterested from going in it but the courtyard pool was much better. The front desk gave me coupons for complimentary breakfast which was appreciated although I did not end up using them. The pina colada’s were sooooo good though. Overall it was a good but not great hotel.

I know there are renovated rooms that look like the pictures, but we got an old room. The curtains were crooked, the blackout curtains didn’t go all the way across the window (so they didn’t blackout the room at all), outlets were so old that the plugs just fell out of them and mainly the lock on the door was broken. I complained twice about the room, and employees coming in and out of the room even though we had the do not disturb sign on the door. They finally agreed to move us after two days of complaining, but didn’t call until 5 and we were already on our way to dinner. Safety complaints should be handled immediately, not later when you get around to it. We just stayed in the same room, but didn’t feel safe. I couldn’t keep a phone beside me because the outlets by the bed didn’t work and I woke up all night worried about the door lock not working. I wish I could post pics so you can see the difference. The main areas were nice, the rooms, especially the unrenovated ones, are just ok.

Great property, ocean view. The only downside is there are not elevatora that work so this would not be good for elderly or disabled people. All bathrooma appear to be on the second floor.

The room was clean, the staff was nice, close to the beach. Downside- the room came with only one wash cloth. I asked three times and never got one. I had to use a hair towel which worked but wasn’t ideal. Requested toilet paper as well and never got it had to go to the front desk for it. The pump for the body wash in the shower didn’t work. I had to remove the top and use it that way. Minor inconvenience but for the cost of the room they could do better. The electric went out twice while we were there only at this location so I’m not sure if they blew a fuse or what. We never did get an explanation. Crazy how hotels charge a 300$ deposit to protect their items but can’t provide the basics. Over all it was ok.

This hotel has a great location, but it is not a 4-star hotel. Maybe a 3:

* The rooms are super clean, but the doors have gaps around the frame. If you are near the elevator, you might wake up at night.
* The “fancy” AC turns off anytime there is an electrical blip. I would wake up at night and have to restart the AC.
* The staff is overworked. It is hard to get service at breakfast, and at night the pool deck is littered with empty drinks.

So yes, great spot. Great bed. But it is missing a few things to be a true 4-star. This is the first time I am giving feedback on Expedia. I tried to give it to the hotel front desk, and I received a condescending: “I will give your feedback to a manager. Thank you.”

From the moment I walked into the hotel to check in to the time I checked out, I was treated with the utmost kindness from every staff member on the property. The bar area in the main building was a beautiful and place to relax; the drinks were delicious. The pool and pool service (food and drinks) were fantastic! With this hotel being located right on Ocean Drive, you are steps away from the beautiful ocean, and there are plenty of amazing restaurant and shopping choices around. I would most definitely stay here again and again.

Our room was tiny with no chair or place to sit other than on the bed. There was no dresser or shelves or place to put clothes (there was one narrow closet with a couple of hangers). We had two windows both facing the back of other buildings and electrical wiring.

Standard king room. The bed was very comfortable.however we could have used
a place to store some of our clothes.We had
a 5 day stay so we probably had more clothes
then most of your guests.
Also, it would have been nice to have a bag
for dirty clothes.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much and
will definitely come back.

Very nice and clean hotel. The front desk staff is super nice and courteous and always willing to help/ send extra towels up to the room.
However, the “free continental breakfast” is a complete ripoff. It’s not buffet style at all, you have to sit at the restaurant out front and be waited on by staff (which is fine, but they seemed very busy and understaffed). It came with one cup of coffee or OJ and was a pre plated meal of a pathetic scoop of plain yogurt, barely a handful of cereal, and a tiny croissant. It was quite disappointing as the rest of the hotel was great. It just seemed like kind of a cheap ploy to fill up the restaurant out front with people hoping to get a decent breakfast and just feeling defeated

The room has a very nice view. Was it spotless? no, not really, especially the carpeting in the hall needs some cleaning. But overall it was good. Nice bathroom, comfortable bed, etc. But when you get into this price range, little things matter. The temps dropped into low 50s when we were there, and we were still seated outside for breakfast. We asked for and indoor seating, and were told that we can get it ONLY if we order from the card, not the included breakfast. Really???

Service was awful. Maid service may or may not come to clean your room. Never any fresh and clean towels at the pool. No drinking glasses in room. Phone in room never worked. If you want a coffee refill, they will charge you! It is so chintzy for a hotel charging these prices. Wish I'd stayed elsewhere and could get refund. Really soured the whole vacation.

We mostly enjoyed our stay at the Park Central, and the hotel pool and service was great. The hotel has a lot to offer -- great location and food. That being said, the mini bar in our room seemed to have been removed, leaving just a fridge. The bottom of the door in our bathroom was also rotted, and we had to make multiple calls for towels/bath mat. These things should be improved considering the amount they charge for the room.

The staff members were the stars of our stay. Even though the room with one king bed did not have enough storage for two people, the friendly staff will be the reason we return. Next time we’ll pay for a larger room. The room for this trip had no cabinets or drawers, only a closet. I lived out of my suitcase on the single stand and my husband lived out of his suitcase on the sofa. This left only the bed for a place to sit.

The room was okay overall. Most things were clean, but the floor was messy and it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed, which was disappointing.

I was also uncomfortable with the hotel offering guests a free breakfast in exchange for writing a 5-star review on Google. That didn’t feel right to me and made the experience less positive.

Coffee maker did not work. 2 guests 1 Robe. No Face towels or Bathmat or washcloths. Continental Breakfast, but no refills on Coffee. Shower controls difficult to operate. No Soapbars. No Shower caps. Soap dispensers were difficult to use. Not adequate Hangers. No Drawers at all. Very little counter space in Bathroom. Housekeeping requests took 2 to 3 calls to receive any action. Price was over $800. per nite, and certainly not the Service you would expect.
My wife and I were very dissapointed.

We chose Park Central, after a terrible night at the Venezia, based upon reviews and recommendations. It was an excellent choice. We were graciously welcomed, quickly accommodated, and pleasantly served. Tanesha was our first contact and a joy with whom to interact. Her wonderful smile and smooth professionalism engaged and comforted us through our transition. The hotel is perfect, with its multiple restaurant offerings, two pools, many other amenities and a staff so congenial and fun. We plan to return!

Extremely hard and time consuming to get essential items such as towels, wash clothes, and even toilet paper. The room door did not lock and had obviously been kicked in. Valet parking info was not easily deciphered and did not know about the $48 charge per night for it. It was 29 degrees overnight at one point and there is no heat.
