We stayed one night before a cruise and it was a great location! We took a long walk on the beautiful path looking out at the water. Tons of restaurants within a couple blocks. The staff was great and stored our luggage since we arrived on an early flight. The only negative was the courtyard in the pictures was locked and not available as we had hoped. Also at night the lobby turns into a hooka bar and is pretty loud and no available seats for hotel patrons.

Police came twice in 2 days looked like a raid 8 police cars lined up in road. I checked out ate my cost and moved. It is a great location and rooms wer decent and very clean. Hotel need major upgrades and staff need to be more friendly and bartender needs to learn how to Serve people. .

I stayed one night at the Chesterfield Hotel in Miami before leaving for a cruise. When I arrived, Katie at the front desk was very kind and helpful, and Carlos was also professional and understanding. Unfortunately, the room we were first placed in was clearly not properly cleaned. The bed linens were wrinkled, the pillows had brown smudges, glitter, and hair that clearly wasn’t mine, and the dresser had rings from cups and food crumbs that looked like leftover chicken or fish.

Katie helped move us to another room, but it still made me question the overall cleanliness of the hotel.

The next morning I asked the front desk receptionist, Rocio, if I could have 15–30 extra minutes past checkout, especially considering the condition of the first room. While I was trying to briefly explain the situation from the night before, Rocio told me to stop talking and walked away from the desk for an extended period of time. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, especially since I was simply trying to explain what had happened during my stay.

She still refused the extra time, even though it was a small request. When I later spoke with Carlos, he was understanding and even agreed that the request should have been honored.

The only real positive is the location… the beach is about a 4-minute walk away. Other than that, the cleanliness and service issues made this a disappointing stay. I would not choose to stay here again.

Pictures are not what the rooms look like IN PERSON!! When we arrived, we were surprised and caught off guard by how different it looked like from the online pictures. Our room was very dark and old. It smelled very bad inside, moldy smell… the unit was old and the bathroom was all glass.. so much glass everywhere, we felt uncomfortable. While it’s in a nice location, I would not recommend

No beach view. I did not find an ice machine without a long walk to the main building. I would stay again if I was not driving. If driving i would choose another hotel with parking.$200 for parking would go along ways towards a hotel with parking.

Did not honour early check-in. The room was clearly worn down—the floors felt like they were rotten and might give way, mold hung in the curtains, and the hallways were filthy. There was no hot water at all unless you let it run for at least 15 minutes, and even then it was barely warm and moderated. I would never stay here again.

Room itself was a little raggedy. It was cold in Miami. Room temperature was set to 90 degrees. Room never got above 54 degrees. Had maintenance, come in just to say that the heat doesn't work.Was offered extra blankets that we didn't receive until hour later which we had to recall again for. Happy to talk to other patrons which had the same problem. Wasn't offered a discounted rate or anything. I will never ever stay at this establishment again. Obviously this establishment doesn't keep up on there maintenance. I have never been to a hotel room where you couldn't adjust the temperature of the room.

Booked a 2 queen bed jr suite, was put in a tiny room with 2 full beds, showed and explained the person who checked me in and was told no, those are queens! room was 501 in the 3rd building past the front desk.

Worst shower ever, took 10 min before the water would heat up then to get it to a comfortable temperature was almost impossible to mix since it took so long to travel. A ondemand heater would do wonders and cost pennies.

Also put us in a room next to the street on street level so good luck getting any sleep!

The staff was nice the location great but the room and the lies about it was unacceptable.

The door locks hardly ever work so be prepared to ask for it to be activated again every time you want to enter your room. The service staff is also unhelpful. They were hardly ever there and when they were they were unhelpful and rude. The roof had three leaks in my room, so I asked front desk about giving me a discount. She went to talk to her manager and never returned. I went again and they spoke about it in Spanish and clearly saying no as they didn’t follow up with me and I had to ask them two more times in that one conversation. Water pressure is low. Bar food is absolutely disgusting. I accidentally left my prescription glasses in the room after check out and they were very rude about it and I still haven’t been able to get them back. What you pay for is the location.

Stayed in room 411... Got to the room and noticed the door was already open. Before I could do anything I had to search the closet and bathroom to ensure I was the only one there. After that I left the room and realized the reason the door was left open since the door card reader did not work. I called the front desk and maintenance and they said they would fix but never came back. I ended up having to take all my stuff with me to dinner since I had no where else to keep my luggage. The front desk person that night and in the morning could care less about the issue. Rather than not renting the room out at all they knew about the issue and still rented it out. Another issue was the room had no hot water. Lastly, charging $30 for a \"resort\" fee was laughable. I never leave reviews good or bad ones but the smug responses I got from both employees pissed me off.

Upon our arrival at the hotel, several issues became apparent. Initially, our reservation, made through Expedia, indicated two rooms, not a single room with two beds, as we were informed upon check-in. Despite the \"Vacancy\" sign displayed outside, no alternative rooms were available.

The condition of the assigned room was unsatisfactory. The flooring appeared damaged and warped, with visible paint covering imperfections. The bathroom lacked essential amenities such as towels and a hairdryer, and the mirror was marred with brown stains. The television remote was non-functional, and only a limited selection of channels was available, predominantly in Spanish. Furthermore, the absence of an elevator necessitated carrying luggage up the stairs, and the closet emitted a distinct, unpleasant odor.

My boyfriend and I tried calling the Chesterfield after we arrived in Miami. We couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone to help us. We called for over an hour. Finally we walked to the hotel and complained. The guest services guy acted like he couldn't care less. We will not go back!

Usually when checking into a room I have booked through Expedia it is quick and painless. The checkin at Chesterfield took forever and the resort fee was not shared during my original reservation. They also need to update their door locks. Had a lot of difficulty getting the door unlocked. The pictures of the room I reserved did not match the room we were given either. We were supposed to have a sofa that made into an additional bed and we did not. But the place was clean and we enjoyed the small courtyard outside our rooms.

Service was horrible we got there check in was at 4 pm we got there at 3 pm they told us rm was not ready they would call me and family went to eat down rd came back at 530 because never called then we were told at 6pm our room was still not ready cleaning people had not cleaned yet and still was not at 630 finally then they said had a rm ready we got to it and the ac was out in rm the blower motor was bad then they told us they didn't have another rm for us then they said found us another rm me and my family had to walk three blocks to another hotel no ride or nothing then they put us in a rm over at other hotel and tv would not work so asked about it was told maintenance was gone home for day so did not have a tv at all our trip was ruined messed around did not get to do things we had planned to do service and hotel experience was worst i ever had in life this place and service very bad rude and disrespectful i wouldn't advise at all

Location is the main reason to stay here if you need access to Miami Beach and the surrounding nightlife. The room was clean overall, but was falling apart at the seams. Don't expect to sleep soundly unless you bring earplugs...this area is hopping all night long.

The place is beautiful and relaxing. Room was exactly as expected. Our flight arrived early and the staff let us keep our luggage at the hotel so we could explore until our room was ready. Only inconvenience was that I asked for a late check out for 12pm because we had a later flight. The hotel charged hourly for a late check out.

The room was run down. There wasn’t even a mirror. The bed was so soft my back was killing me everyday. The lock on the door was janky. Upon arrival I wanted to take a shower … no towels or wash cloths smh. Great location but if I liked the room more I would’ve stayed at the bar and ordered food but the atmosphere was so dated I chose to spend money somewhere else. Most importantly when I got to the property I was charged an additional $100 for something that the front desk couldn’t even explain. I still gave no clue why I paid an additional $100. I’m very disappointed.

The room was very run down. Night stands were damaged, the mirror in the shower and walls were damaged, and tge window in tge room had duct tape covering something. The ac / heater had a bad smell coming from it. The elevator was broken on the day we checked out and no one offered to help with the luggage, going down 3 flights of stairs. They also chose not to put a sign on tge elevator to inform guests that it was broken.

The front desk staff weren't friendly this time around. I paid for early check in basically for nothing because the room wasn't available until almost check in time. Very disappointed. I lost a room due to a flight being canceled in Philly never refunded or even worked with about the situation which was not doing to have to cancel. I think my run booking this location after 7 stays may be done.

Arrived to the suite but it was nice but not very clean. The sheets had dust and long black hair on /in between the sheets. Floors did not feel clean to my feet and overall didnt feel clean. Ask for room to be clean and waited a few hours and had to request cleaning/towels upon return. Very dissatisfied and will not recommend or return to this hotel.

Staff was great! But the room was “ interesting “. Fridge didn’t work bed was really really soft, like so soft it was hard to get out of. It took about 10 minutes of running the shower to finally get hot water and it was really noisy at all times of the day and night! Especially people going up the wooden steps to upstairs rooms. Light switches were pushed into the wall and you had to blow dry your hair next to the front door because there are no outlets in the bathroom and only a couple in the room. No happy medium with the A/C, it was either hot as hell or freezing cold blowing like a hurricane. Best part about staying here was the location and the tacos across the street! We stayed in Room 405 and we will not be back.

You need to know that they have 3 properties. If you book at Chestetfield Hotel, you may be put next door, or across the street from the main one. If you have any issues, you have to go back to the main one to talk to someone at the front desk. And you dont know where you will go until you check in. This is the 2nd time I have used this hotel and the staff has always been amazing. Last night I had something devasting happen to me and was visibly upset. Yomada (sp?) was amazing. She was patient and kind. She took her time with me, and reassured me that everything was gonna be fine. She even helped me to my room and explained everything to me. Its people like her that keep me coming back.
My first stay, I was in the main bldg. This stay I was in the property next door. Both rooms were clean and neat and to be honest, I think I prefered the property next door. If you have an opportunity to stay in Miami Beach, thiis is the place to stay. Just a block walk to everything.
