Mariano resolved any issue we had. The staff are very courteous and pleasant and available to assist at any time. The pool side view was good for festivities. And the Baja fish tacos were delicious. We would definitely return and recommend a stay at The Moxy!

The hotel is clean and easy walking distance to the beach and food options. The size of the rooms are the only issue. It felt like an inside cabin on a cruise ship. No storage and limited outlets for charging your phone. Overall we had a great trip, but would try a different hotel next time.

The rooms were quite small, and the seating area by the window had damp cushions and an unpleasant odor. The on-site restaurant was also underwhelming, with mediocre food and a limited drink selection. This hotel may be better suited for travelers who plan to be out most of the day or who are not light sleepers, rather than those looking for a quiet and relaxing stay. There were several unhoused individuals gathered outside the front of the hotel and in the surrounding area, which made the entrance and nearby sidewalks feel uncomfortable at times—something guests traveling with families or seeking a calmer environment may want to consider when booking. Unfortunately, our interaction with the night manager was disappointing, as they did not seem customer-focused and lacked the warmth and personality typically expected in hospitality.

I had booked a room listed as a deluxe room with multiple beds. Upon check-in, they told me that I was given children’s bunk beds as the only beds in my room. This was not in the listing at all I would’ve never booked or paid $320 for children’s bunkbeds. I believe I deserve a partial refund. At least this listing was very misleading and no one would’ve booked children’s bunkbeds as a 40-year-old adult.

There was hair on the shower walls from the guests before us and I had to ask 5 separate times to get the shower cleaned. It wasn’t done until the 3rd day of our 4 day stay. It was disgusting and our concerns were not important to the front desk.

Over priced, hotel room small, no refrig, closet, cloth drawers hang up closet. I swear I had a continental breakfast included -!nope. Cup of coffee $6.71. Destination fee $30.00. Was told it was Not a regional fee, but rather a hotel fee. My mistake for booking this reservation-as I normally do a lot of due dilligence.

Checkin took too long. Arrived at 11 and was put on a call list for when room was ready. No call received. Checked back at 3, room was still being cleaned. Came back at 4 and there was a line up of 20-30 people.

Room A/C never worked right. Middle of the night it was 73 degrees and it was set to 68. The pool area was very dirty however the staff was lovely. I would not stay at this hotel again or recommend it. Under staffed on every level around the holidays

The staff is friendly, the location is perfect. The roof top bar and restaurant is really nice. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. The rooms are pretty small but still nice and cozy the only thing i didn't like was the bed it was too hard for me i didn't get any sleep in the bed.

We didn’t get the ocean view room that we reserved instead the staff gave us a room for hearing impaired/ handicapped room , the sink is next to a bed . The remote control has white sticky stuff with hair, gross! I took a pic. of it Nobody must have clean this room. Our stay here is a disappointment.

I stayed at the Moxy Miami South Beach for my solo birthday trip and had the BEST experience. The staff was unbelievably sweet—there was a beautiful Jamaican woman at the front desk (I wish I remembered her name!) who truly set the tone. I arrived at 9am hoping for early check-in, and she went above and beyond to get me into a room well before 4pm. Until then, I was able to lounge by the pool all morning, which was honestly perfect.

The pool area is stunning—great energy, super clean, and such a vibe. My room was also perfect for a solo traveler: cozy, modern, and I loved the open hanging space instead of a traditional closet. It made everything feel easy and organized.

The beach is literally a 2-minute walk, and the hotel gives you two complimentary beach chairs with your stay. Such a pleasant surprise and truly made my beach days effortless.

Overall, such a warm, fun, convenient place to stay

Rooms are vert small but clean. The staff was helpful and pleasant. I loved that it was close to everything and I coukd walk to most places I wanted to visit. I would recommend this hotel but I dont think I would stay here again but that is because I really enjoy having a balcony whenever I travel to a place with warm weather.

Positive: Friendly staff, great location, loved the ocean view room on 6th floor with huge floor to ceiling windows, comfortable beds, great shower, quiet and effective AC. Super comfortable and very cool rooftop area to sit out.

Negative: Struggled to move around in double-Queen room since it’s so compact and we were travelling with a lot of luggage, and very few places to recharge devices or to store anything. Tripping over each other and our stuff all the time. It worked okay for 2 nights but we’d need more space and in-room amenities for a longer stay.

But thanks for the pleasant stay overall and shout-out to the woman at check-in who was so nice!

Had no beach view. Some staff had no clue what was going on. No organization whatsoever. Had to pay 54.00 a night to park a car as well as 90.00 in destination fees. When asked about the fees told it was for the pool and bikes. Never told about bikes and pool closed at dusk unless you want to wade in a kiddie pool. Total joke for money spent.

First time in Miami. The Moxy was amazing! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious and clean. Vibes were perfect. Pool party was so much fun!!! The food was delicious. The room had hardly no room to walk around in. Extremely small. No desk, no chairs, no refrigerator, no closet, no microwave, and last but not least no scenic view. Just a view of the alley and the apartment building next door. Price to park the car $54 a night, totally insane. Extra charge, which is called destination fee. For the use or services of a luxury chair at the pool, bike rentals for two, and complimentary chips and salsa at the restaurant. None of those three things we actually use but we had to pay $30 for it anyway. For a luxury hotel with a charge was over $200 a night totally unacceptable. I was booked for two nights and told them I wasn't staying here the second night. Can not tell you how unhappy I was along with my wife who is totally upset. One because she needs a wheelchair or a walker to get around room had no way to actually get the wheelchair in. All we can use was the Walker. The other reason is we are senior citizens, and we was in a hotel that was totally a party atmosphere with young people. Chances of us ever booking again with hotels.com will be slim to none.

The staff there were impeccable. The MOST off putting was the excessive charges for everything. The parking was terrible and having zero options (unless you wanted to walk) was awful. Valet parking was our only option as we had a child with us. I think this needs to be looked at. But if we want to talk about the staff, WOW there was not a bad one. We interacted with many and they were beyond great.

From checking in to checking out, the reception area was clean and full of breakfast items, the staff was very nice and friendly. The pools were beautiful, we ate and drank on site and were very happy. I would definitely go there and recommend to all.
It was our 35th wedding anniversary, we were sent a bottle of prosecco as a gift from MOXY. Nice touch. Thank you.

Great Hotel a minute walk to South Beach. 3 days here before a cruise out of FLL. Jeffrey the barman made some amazing Margarita's and had a great sense of humour, The girls at the breakfast bar were helpful, efficient and made some lovely Cuban breakfast sandwiches. Room was modern and functional, there was a safe in the room contrary to some posts. Main pool and rooftop pool were fantastic as were the views. Free coffee, yoghurts, muffins, cereal bars and fruit at breakfast bar. Was apprehensive due to one or two negative reviews but this hotel was excellent and we as a family from the UK loved it and the staff. Highly recommend. If there was one criticism it would be that 3 cups (think they were less than a pint) of draft beer at $31+ total is a bit pricey.

My stay at the moxy was terrible in comparison to other Marriot establishments. There was a fire drill happening that occurred each day of my stay. This was never communicated prior to our arrival and impacted of vacation as we had people knocking on the door early and trying to get in. In addition to, it made it difficult to get work done as needed due to the noise. When I mentioned this to the front desk they agreed to compensate us for dinner which never happened. I will not be returning here!

Hotel was conveniently located 3 blocks from the beach and Ocean Drive. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and beach. Great ambiance within the hotel. Great customer service and attentiveness to needs. The AC in my Ocean View room was not working properly during the day requiring us to check out early and upon mention was credited the Destination Fee. Otherwise, very pleased with my accommodation.
