The check-in in this hotel has been terrible and still is. Too long waiting time. But the staff is very friendly. Also we could hardly notice any refurbisment except that cooling in the rooms was broken and the windows could not be opened like earlier. Very painful night, hardly any sleeping.

The hotel was pleasantly decorated but for a 4 star hotel somewhat shabby. The service was rather poor. The sauna was not hot, and there was essentially no table service at breakfast, which was not warm in the trays. The desk was ok, except that they misquoted the rate for an additional night. Parking was more expensive than usual. All this was surprising because other Sokos Hotels have had excellent service, and are more reasonably priced.

|The hotel is easy to find as you can see it stand above the town. I drove to the hotel and the parking is onsite and easily accessible. Checkin was simple and straight forward.
I had a room on the 14th floor, it was a twin bedded room but the beds were right next to each other. The room had a great room over the town and even with the window open it was quiet. The bed was comfortable and the duvet ideal for the time of year. The pillows were probably the only let down and they were ok, just not great. The shower room is compact but has a really good shower and a full depth bowl. Temperature was easy to regulate in the room, it had a desk, large flatscreen tv and a minibar. The storage space was good for a short stay.
The rate included breakfast and that was a really diverse buffet.
I didn't eat dinner in the hotel but there is a restaurant on site (where you have breakfast). I looked at the menu and there was good choice at reasonable prices.
There is a good swimming pool so don't forget your swimmers.
Overall it was a great choice and I will definitely return there for business or leisure.

I had two one-night stays, with different rooms. Both were clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and good walk-in shower. Reception staff were friendly and efficient, breakfast was excellent. I used the restaurants on both evenings, both served excellent food.

Iso hotelli, mutta palveluissa se ei näkynyt. Sijainti aivan loistava ja henkilökunta palvelualtista. Huone remontoitu ja siisti. Iso plussa WC:n valaistuksesta joka kerrankin myös meikkaamiselle soveltuva. Ainoa pieni harmitus meinasi tulla, mutta sekin korjattiin nopeasti, siitä että välisiivousta ei tehty joten vuode oli sijaamatta ja pyyhkeet vaihtamatta. Saimme kuitenkin heti siivouksen kun siitä mainitsimme. Kuulemma ketjulla on tapana että useamman yöpymisen tapauksissa välisiivous tehdään, jos asiakas pyytää. Tämä mielestäni siitä erikoista että huone kuitenkin samanhintainen joka yöltä, joten jotenkin ajattelisi että vuoteet sijattaisiin ja esim likaiset lasit vaihdettaisiin puhtaisiin ihan päivittäin. Kaiken kaikkiaan kuitenkin kokemus oli erittäin hyvä ja varmasti palaamme takaisin. Tämän parempaa hotellia sijainniltaan ja tiloiltaan ei Tampereelta löydy.

Moninpuolin hyvä hotelli, mutta olin varannut huoneen kolmelle aikuiselle huoneesta johon tarjottiin lisäsänky. Paikalle päästyämme meille selvisi että lisäsänky on 175cm pitkä ja erittäin epämukava. Sängyssä oli olematon sijauspatja ja patjan sisällä olevat metallirakenteet tuntuivat nukkuessa selässä. En suosittele kolmen hengen huoneita.

Centralt läge från tågstationen. Fin hotell med underbar utsikt. Mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Fint rum. Nära till allt. Fixade även frukostpåse till oss på avresedagen då vi checkade ut tidigt. Väl värt ett besök! Toppklass!

Siisti hotelli ja huoneet. Kovalla helteellä varmaan koko hotellin ilmastointi on tiukilla, joten ei sitä parasta tehoa joka huoneeseen riitä. Oli siis aika lämmin huone, mutta hyvin nukutti mukavassa sängyssä.
