Hotel is easy to access from the road network but out of town, so good if you want a convenient location for travel but nothing nearby in terms of food/drink. We drove into Tampere for an evening meal and found free parking, so no hardship.
Room was very clean and comfortable, giving us three proper single beds (which is unusual for a triple room but very welcome). Bathroom was a semi wet room but you are provided with a squigy device to help clean up after a shower.
Breakfast was good - standard continental offering and good coffee.
Overall would definitely recommend this hotel!

Good location and easy to find
Nice and quiet hotel, clean too. 24 h coffee shop convenient. It was not so easy to adjust temperature in our room, the instructions could be find on info-TV but we didn't know that. Restaurant offers large portions. The breakfast that includes in price was standard but fresh.

Pros - new building, spacious, clean and refreshing, very good breakfast, smooth check in/out, quiet surroundings.
Cons - a bit away from city centre so best if you have your own car, WIFI in room was not good enough

Ten minute walk to the TAMK bus stop through the hospital, then a ten minute ride to the center. Good and clean. Doesn't come with a coffee maker.

Convenient For The Hospital
We have stayed here many times whilst working at the hospital. This is good for us as the facilities are great. The staff can't do enough for you, all you have to do is ask them. They all speak English which is a great help as none of us speak Finnish. Oh yes the food is great value for money and really good.

Nicely decorated spacious rooms with plenty of light. Clearly from the better end of the hospitals turned into hotels. Have used it for business trips several times and will use again. For those who have a car and who dont worry about the active hospital next door

Modern hotel within a university hospital complex
I was visiting a friend who was spending time in the complex's hospice, which was why I chose this Tampere hotel. Only 30 mins (max) drive from airport so it was a very convenient choice for me. I was pleased with my lovely spacious room & very impressed with the food on offer in the self service restaurant. A la cart menu was also available in the evening. It seemed to be more of a hotel where people/families stay either to visit patients or even if they're a patient themselves. I think I even saw some treatment rooms within the hotel itself. There was also a maternity unit nearby. Lots of hospital staff ate their lunch here. Unusual in that I'd never experienced such a hotel before but it certainly didn't spoil my stay or put me off. It was very interesting. There was a sauna available but as I was only there for 2 nights I didn't get the opportunity to use it. The staff were friendly & very helpful. It was a fairly short drive into Tampere city so one could take a taxi or get a bus. Tampere itself is a great city with lots of history. Even if I wasn't visiting a sick friend, I would happily stay in this hotel again :)

I wasn't aware this hotel was essentially connected to a hospital when I reserved the rooms, however I was more than satisfied with every aspect of it. Everything about this hotel was perfect. Even though it wasn't in the downtown area the drive into the city took only about five minutes. The staff was great, room was comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast was super!

The pictures on the site are clearly photo shopped. Its a hotel, but the hotel works closely with the hospital across the road. Dont be supprised to see people wearing pyjama`s at breakfast, Staff is helpfull. But the overall feeling is more that your in a from clinic converted hotel. Its cold and has no athmosphere.

I booked last minute, and when I arrived, I was surprised and a bit disappointed to realize it was the hospital hotel. However, as soon as I walked in, I felt at ease. The receptionist was incredibly sweet and managed to calm me down, especially since I was a bit brusque at first, questioning why it wasn’t mentioned that it was a hospital hotel. That said, I’m quite a curious person, and despite not being the ideal choice, it was fantastic. The hotel is spotless and very quiet. The breakfast was perfect in my opinion, with a great variety of options, from savory items like sausages and potatoes to cold cuts, and even delicious pancakes with Nutella or jam. There were also cookies and coffee available, so I was really satisfied with the breakfast. Additionally, in the evening, there’s a buffet from 4 PM to 6:30 PM for just 15 euros, which offers a variety of dishes you’d probably struggle to find elsewhere in the city. The only downside is that it’s not in the city center, so if you want to be in the heart of the city without taking a bus, this might not be the best choice.

Hohe Bewertung meiner Meinung nicht gerechtfertigt. Hotel befindet sich im Krankenhausviertel und teilt sich auch Gebäude mit einer Poliklinik. Dies ist auf den ersten Blick nicht ersichtlich. Auch nicht auf offizieller Webseite. Entsprechend ist das Ambiente, vieles wirkt sehr steril.
Viele Gäste sind Patienten, tagsüber befinden sich auch externe Patienten dort. Frühstück mittelmäßig, hat Kantinecharakter von durchschnittlicher Qualität. Zimmer teilweise schmutzig, Popcorn und klebrige Stifte vom Vorgänger gefunden. Zudem durchgelegene Matratzen mit sichtbaren eckligen Flecken unter Matratzenschonern. Bitte prüfen und wechseln! Türen und Möbilar waren abgenutzt (Schrammen vermutlich von genutzten Rollatoren von Vorgängern). Wochentags 10 Euro Parkgebühr ab 8 Uhr, Frühstück nur bis 9:30 Uhr. Elektroladestationen nur im Parkhaus für 20 Euro Parkgebühr zugänglich. Positiv empfanden wir das freundliche Personal und das Familienzimmer (2 Zimmer mit Durchgangstür) angeboten werden.

Hotellin yhteydessä todella huonosti parkkipaikkoja ja valtavasti sakkorysä parkkipaikkoja, jos ei tarkasti katso, mitä jokaisessa kyltissä lukee. Hotellissa on vain yksi hidas hissi, joten siirtyminen on hidasta ylös, sekä alas. Aamupala tarjoillaan ahtaissa tiloissa, eikä sovellu siihen tarkoitukseen jos hotellissa on paljon vieraita. Huoneessa ei sinänsä valittamista, mutta en suosittele hotellia ellei sitten vierailun tarkoitus liity TAYS asiointiin tavalla tai toisella.

Yövyimme yhden yön. Huone oli siisti ja tilava. Hotelli ilmoitti etukäteen, että ilmastointi on epäkunnossa, joka kovan helteen aikana vähän harmitti, mutta huone oli kuitenkin lämpötilaltaan ok helteeseen nähden. Kylpyhuoneen lattian siisteydestä pieni miinuspiste (siellä oli edellisen asiakkaan hiuksia), mutta muuten huone oli siisti ja oikein viihtyisä. Söimme ravintolassa hyvät burgerit, myös aamupala oli hyvä. Kokonaisuudessaan oikein kiva hotelli.

Wir hatten eine Übernachtung mit Frühstück auf der Durchreise. Die Receptionistin war sehr bemüht, unsere zahlreichen Fragen zu beantworten. Der check-in war gut. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr gepflegt und sauber. Es war sogar ein kleiner Kühlschrank vorhanden, was für die Diabetes-Medikamente super war. Das Frühstücksbuffet war o.k. Alles in allem ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Hotellihuonetta ei oltu siivottu kunnolla edellisen vieraan jälkeen. Nurkat olivat pölyisiä ja sängyn alta löytyi pölyn lisäksi edellisen vieraan unohtama rasvapurkki. Jos siivous olisi suoritettu kunnolla, rasvapurkkia tuskin olisi löytynyt. Kasvopyyhkeetkään eivät olleet miellyttäviä, sillä ne olivat tahraisia aivan kuten sängyn alulakanatkin.
